em primeiro lugar eu não me enganei no meu inglês e em segundo o que eu disse não foi de forma alguma um ataque contra ti (espero que não te ofendas por eu usar a 2ª pessoa e não a 3ª), foi contra a forma como as mudanças aconteceram. O mesmo já não se pode dizer sobre o teu comentário que fizeste contra mim, e contra a minha falta de habilidade a jogar o RubySoccer. Mas não percas sono com isso que eu também não o irei perder. Percebeste mal o que quis dizer e sentiste-te ofendido. Saliento, não era esse o intuito.
No meu inglês, como também no meu português, um termo entre aspas tem sentido figurado. E não é só no “meu inglês” nem no “meu português”…
O total dos teus ordenados mantiveram-se e ora ainda bem para ti, os meus mais que duplicaram. O que não está certo é o ordenado de vários jogadores que era superior a 100k passarem para <20k. Eu falei de um exemplo que vi acontecer, muitos mais existem.
Para reforçar a ideia, e para fique bem claro; tu em altura nenhuma procedeste fora das regras do jogo, as regras do jogo é que mudaram de forma bastante iníqua.
E penso que mais qualquer troca de “elogios” deva acontecer em privado. Aqui fala-se do jogo, e a transição que aconteceu aí mesmo não foi, na minha opinião, a mais correcta.

For example, recently Diogo Silva from Nancy (MediumTicker) “stole” me Tristan Py with a 100k wage and now the player’s wage is 18k… Not fair…
I don’t agree with the recent changes but I respect the effort put into the game and for that thank you!
In the “keep it simple” approach I was thinking something like the old ManagerSim; individual player positioning when attacking and when defending. And also like ManagerSim who shoots the free kicks, penalties and corners.
I’m not very fond of the “departments idea”. I stopped playing Championship Manager because of its complexity…
So, in the matter being discussed, I abstain.
Something is also wrong (or right for who hire the players) with Hannover 96…
I also agree with Dave, but I think it’s difficult to control the transfers value. A restriction not allowing a manager to sell players bellow their value couldn’t protect the great players from being sold; these players sometimes are worth 10 times their value. Value and real value it’s a complex issue and I’m afraid I can’t think of an automatic solution for that…
And Dave I am really sorry to see you part from the premiership…
I “bought” 3 players from Fulham for those very low prices but I don’t know who is their manager.
I wasn’t the only one bidding on them but if you think that’s unfair feel free to take those players from Liverpool.
I’m not cheating but it’s a fact that I took advantage of someone who was trying to cheat…

I didn’t know that free players were under that rule. Maybe me and Maritimo’s manager work on the same corporate network despite the fact I don’t know him, but no problem, there are plenty of players good for Estoril’s squad. My team is so weak… :D

I think the game has some cyclic trends…you must be patient or try to bribe the referees… :P

But I guess Liverpool has a better UEFA ranking than Leixões, not because of me, but for its history.
I think this was the way old ManagerSim worked. And like in real world, as you said, better teams become even better while small teams have great difficulties in progressing.
I guess it’s a tough call…who should have priority in getting the players…

So players would prefer to go to Liverpool instead of going to Leixões. :P
I have a different opinion…I prefer total anarchy! :)
But if the club runs out of money the manager should be immediately sacked.

When several teams offer the same contract value for one player is there another criteria considered?
I’ve just “lost” 3 players like this, and 2 of them for the same team…
The difference between the number of teams in some championships causes an unfair fight for the International Cups. Let’s take as example my championship (England) against the Portuguese championship. England has 20 teams battling for the title and in Portugal there are only 16. By the time English teams meet Portuguese teams in CL or in the UEFA Cup the Portuguese league has ended while the English premiership is still alive and kicking. The English managers are forced to manage their players according to their stamina while the Portuguese managers are focused 100% in the International Cup. Not fair, I think…
My proposal: start the smaller leagues later so that in the end every team has the same conditions.

After the transfer manager Alex Foutoura resigns from Real Sporting de Gijón and if we look to his history we can see a pattern…he doesn’t stay long in one club…
The manager “buying” the player is Alessandro Figueira and he is the “winner” here…
Also playing in Independiente is Julio Silveira Martins, a keeper with 93 of Keeping, and guess from what club he came…? Real Sporting de Gijón!!! With an outstanding value of $448,135!!!
And there are more players like this in Independiente…
Isn’t this cheating? Besides Alex Foutoura there is an Alex Touluca also “working” for Mr. Alessandro Figueira. And maybe more…
But at the moment it’s “legal”?

I was logged during the change of turns and after the tick I was also logged, and when that happens the turn info in the pages isn’t updated so my financial report was somehow crippled. Logout and login and all is fine!

At turn 84 I’ve sold Stuart Farr to Colón for $3,500,000 but in the ‘Finance’ screen, between turns 82-84, I have ‘Players sold: $0’.
This finance report shows a great loss (this is usual with my pay roll…) but the total balance as grown. I guess that the money from selling Stuart Farr is being accounted, but it just doesn’t show…

But I think there is a bug…not sure, but…
For example: if have 29 players and I make an offer to one player then I can’t make an offer to another player, but… if with 29 players I enter the ‘Contract Offer’ screen of one player but I don’t click the ‘Offer contract’ button then I can open more ‘Contract Offer’ screens for other players and then finally I press the ‘Offer contract’ button for each player and multiple negotiations would be active but they shouldn’t because only one was permitted…
I only spoke exactly because this is just a game… somebody mentioned Liverpool and I had to defend it!
I think this is typical conversation of managers to the press (that’s why I mentioned the ‘Newspaper’) :)
