just fired a jozy altidore equivilent in rubysoccer. hes 95 shooter yet can only score 1 fucking goal in 11 games. good luck hes shit

Suggestion #1:

reset Fast Ticker @ 100th season
Medium Tick @ 50th standard for now. reset the game.

Suggestion #2 : keep the implicated team and country info. but for time being remove temp some of the countries due to lack of human managers

Suggestion #3: Training controll over players attributes. players gain x amounts of attribute per x amount of points ect right ? so why not have an option to focus where you want those attributes to be gained… but dont make it an absolute… make it alike the current scouting investment higher the investment the more likely those choices
(% chance) will be made as to what attributes are changed. just a thought.

Suggestion #4
as i wrote this i had to what i thought an excellent idea…… as above starting age for career lowered a year ? or raise attribute gaining age to at least 27-28 this is realistic.
players in real life, never stop getting better till older age really. they learn and get better…some untill around 30+ … they are humans right ? so why not have this in the game. understandably it should be random after a certain age of how often they gain attributes. i also think players should have injuries that force players to retire as in real life. have it in the scout report, wiether the player scouted is a “late bloomer” “fast learner” " lazy" or what have you. and thier work ethic

Suggestion #5 moral needs to be implicated ASAP

Suggestion #6 Sell or give the rights to the game to someone who would continue active development. and active updates fine tunings ect.

these are my suggestions.

Medium has 6 more managers indeed :P

But i would not reset 2 servers….Medium would be best since there are more problems there then in fast (keeper issues etc)

I’m using the 64-bit version of java which I need for other programs but I cant get it to work with rubysoccer’s match replays… Is there some way to fix this?

Thank’s for your answer, it’s a bit clearer for me now, although I would be happy to know how points are recalculated each season :p
I bet it’s calculated with the goals given to your team compares to the level of all other teams in the league…
Probably the calculations could be changed a little because it’s quite harsh to see that your point’s board and investement are getting lower after finishing second in the league, half finalist in the cup and winning EC :p
About money it’s not a problem for me to loose it every season but I think the idea of Marc is good to perhaps add a category of % of money kept.

Maybe both need a reset. At least Medium seems to have more managers than Fast now, usually it was the opposite.

Some clarifications.

1) Investment points are won based on your finishing position in the competitions you participated (regardless of board expectations). Bear in mind that participating in the secondary continental competition provides less point than participating of the top continental competition (and similarly not participating in any international competitions give you even less points).

2) From one season to another the full amount of points you have is always recalculated. Imagine this as if all your investment areas were reduced to zero, points calculated for the new season and then automatically invested to match the levels you previously had, if possible. After this automatic process any remaining points are displayed as available.

3) The points from money left are combined with the points from competitions performance, so there is no way to know how many points you’ve got from each. If after the automatic process described above you see lower investment levels it just means the points calculated for the current season were less than in the previous season.

4) I understand the pain of losing money, that was an attempt to control the inflation that was happening in the game. Maybe a better solution would be an economy reset, but again, some people would always feel in disadvantage…unless we stated in advace how many seasons would be played until a reset…hmmmm.

Begining of the season
Transfer budget 305 mil, ended with 459 mil (+159mil)

board expectations:
Premiership Qualify for Europa League ( Finished first place in league)
FA Cup Reach the quarter-finals (Ends in second on FA Cup)
International Reach the round of 16 ( didnt meet the board expectations)

Got only 2 points…. this aint right!!

yeh franek its crap really imo. one of the reasons why the games dieing. i like the points thing but to lose all money at the end of a season is just shit. add another category maybe of % of money keep after season ?

Hi

What is realy necessary to gain investment points ?

I lost 2 points in current investments compares to last season and my board points left is only 3 !! ??
So I will be lower in 2 categories with no points to change it and yet I was much above ALL my goals as you can see below so can someone explain it for me please :p

Goals of last seasons :

- league : above mid table → realised : 2nd place
- cup : reach quarter final → realised : half final
- international : reach quarter final → realised : won Europa league

I forgot to say also that budget transfert was nearly 280M at the begining of the season and I left more than 600M but no points gains ayway ??
I don’t understand how it’s possible to have a decrease from one season to the other in your investments’s areas after making better than your asked goals and winning a title in an international competition…

I remember that option from SS, shouldn’t be hard to implement. I’m kinda of ashamed of saying things are not hard to implement but never actually implementing them! Now at least I have an excuse, I’m going to have a baby in a few months and there are lots of things to do in order to be ready for that ;-)

Well, depends on what (you think) a manager game should be like.
I think training is NOT a necessity in a football manager game. You as a manager are responsible for picking the best possible team based on performance , skill, morale, form and reports from coaches (in real life). So RubySoccer is doing fine by not letting you train the players as you like as then it will create more problems than solve. WHAT I would have done is do training paid option, that is setup where the improvements points would go when a player unlocks new points.

Or do that option non-paid for youth players only – then the youth development will have a real nice impact and touch in the game.

It’s all about how much time and effort you can/want to invest in a game but as it is at the moment it’s just fine. Would benefit from more users, and I am not sure what it is required to make it a “facebook game” but Danilo and Gabriel should really look into that, that effort needed to enable it in FACEBOOK would be very nice for the evolution of the game.
