I am in need of the game replay. This is ridiculous:

My adversary didn’t even shoot once in two matches!!! What are the odds of this event!?

Cheers…

Thanks for the quick implementation!

a- Do we have to put in the wage we offer the player before closing date or after all bids are closed?
b- Will there be a 3-turn? Like when the seller adjusted the demanded price by lowering the minimum.

Managers can make transfer offers with a transfer price different than the specified. The selling manager will then be notified that a lower proposal exists. The proposals value will be public and displayed for everybody in the player info page or in the negotiation details. Lower proposals won’t be accepted unless the selling manager reduces the transfer price accordingly. All proposals whose value is greater or equal the transfer price will negotiate with the player, there will be no privileges for higher proposals. When the transfer price is changed (raised or reduced) all managers with offers are notified.

It is now possible to filter the manager ranking screen by country and/or (partial) manager name.

cheers!

We thought about that in the beginning (different icon for negotiations). But our art work is a little bit slow :). Lets see when can we come up with that.

cheers!

Cool, i’m looking forward for that as well.
Also on that note, could you put a different icon when there’s stuff happening at the negotiations tab? Something like in the mailbox, i mean. It’s easy to see it flashing when you know something is happening, you’re aware of it, like renewing contracts or buying players, but anyway we get a mail about that when the player rejects it.
When a lower bid than what you’re asking is allowed, i think it would be useful, otherwise we could only get a “Team X’s offer on Player Y was dropped due to not reaching an agreement” when it was too late.

Cheers, keep up the good work! :)

I’ve 27 players, and the contract of this player will only finish in season 8, turn 1.

I know that is strange, that why i post it, today I’ve $-6,058,655 and my objective was reduce all the salaries, because the computer teams use to buy players about 10Mk and more, now, they don’t buy it for any value, all the players teams are losing all the money, in the last season i use to have 30MK.

That’s really strange pg, my guess is that the board automatically renewed his wage, but that should only happen if the number of players you had (that were not transfer or loan listed) at the time of contract renewal had reached the minimum allowed of 14 if I’m not mistaken.

Unfortunately we don’t have this kind of history yet, but we will :-(

Sorry Philipp, no progress on that yet, but I feel the moment is good for something like that. Hopefully it will be out there soon.

Agreed guys, poor or negative teams should be able to hire cheap or free players with a limited wage. Added to our list.

Cheers!

hi there, any work on the “allowance to make a bid lower than the asked price” (see above) ?

i still think it would be a great step forward in the transfer policy …

Looking at this angle, it does happen… I was just surprised to see $1 players in the market!
I agree on you when you say those teams in bankruptcy should have some sort of market access. A team in bad financial conditions can’t even hire free players or those who costs $1. It’s not a complain, I took my team to bankruptcy, but it’s though to leave this situation when you can’t improve the squad.

best!

Oh Yes it does, over speculation generated a crash in 1929… Recently, you had the dot-com boom and after 2000 there was a crisis in telcos, $K or more of fiber optical investments were sold for 1$ and less… There was an economy bubble in ruby market, but the bubble has blown after endless speculation (player wages) and now it is balancing. If there was a restart wages would be around what? 50K/team? Less? Does anyone remember? :)
One thing should happen, no team should be forbidden from market access, a small wage amount enough for free players should exist as a minimum cap.

Cheers

what I see now, after the economical changes during the last season, is that a result of this “frozen transfers market” is that some teams are selling high wage players almost for free just to balance their finances. I saw some of them on sale for $1.

I don’t know if it’s a problem or just a natural aspect of the game economy, but certainly its a fact tha doesn’t happen in real life.

best!

The board opinion is based on your best players on each position. If I remember correctly you had lots of attackers (some of them used as defenders or midfielders due to their good tackle or passing) and not so many defenders and midfielders. Well, if your best midfielders and defenders are marked as A, AD or AM the logic will look at them as attackers, so your team is probably underrated. Don’t worry, this information is not connected to any other logic, for now it’s just to let the manager roughly know how his team looks like compared to the others.

You should be proud, you had success with a discredited team! :-D

Cheers!

On what logic the board cteate their opinion and does the board has any use ?

i mean, i have won the CL and the league 2 ticks ago and after season my board now says:
League expectation: Avoid relegation
Cup expectation: Reach the round of 16
International expectation: Do your best to pass the first round

Ok. I hope my bad luck will be compensated with a star player the next time I generate a youth. Then I can live with it. :-)

You guys are having bad luck, I have 1 youth GK in FastTicker and 1 in MediumTicker. I’ve also made some queries in the database to see if the number of youth goalkeepers was too high. We have 448 youth GKs and a total of 3787 youths, so around 12% of the youth players are goalkeepers, as I would expect. :-)

I also have 4 GK in my youthin mediumticker – Cagliari. And none off them is a star GK :S

Easier than I though, FastTicker should already have balanced home and away league matches on next season.

I’m sorry to hear that thorpedo :-(

When I first designed the league matches generation I remeber having read something about how to balance league matches between home and away…I’ll have to do some research to find that again.

Do you already find a good formula for the balance between home and away matches? Cause I have to play 12 of the 19 matches in the first half of the season at my home ground. The same of course in the second half with the away matches.

I don’t expect every time after a home match an away match but now I have in 12 matches only one away game in the first half. In the second half I have 8 away matches in a row.

Can you find a way to balance this a bit more.

Cheers

“-3” means no matter where the player is used ? If an A plays M+1 or M-1 or D-1 etc he gets “-3” for all possible positions beyond A-zone ? Or will an A gets “-1” in M+1 and M, “-2” in M-1 and D+1, and “-3” in D and D-1 …

We’ll start with lower penalties…if the player is playing in the wrong position he will receive -3 in all attributes. That may be raised in the future to -5 or to that -5 to -10 range that was suggested. If we do that we’ll make sure it’s properly announced.

Cheers!

What’s the specified penalties table from next season on?

I’m sorry, I think I wasn’t clear enough. For existing players I did not worked on any complex logic to change them into DA, DM, etc, I simple looked for players whose main attribute was LOWER than the secondaries, for example, a defender with 78 tackle and 79 shooting became a DA, but if shooting and tackle were 78 he would still be a defender. This logic is only for existing players, for the new ones to be generated as DM, DA, MD, MA, AD or AM you can have situations like you guys described.

Cheers!
