Yeah…the changes I tested on my development environment didn’t work very well, I still got a high number of offsides. I’ll give it one more try, if it doesn’t work we’ll have to add the minimum number of defenders you suggested.

Cheers!

A third division on Brazil wouldn’t be bad, but first we need to add more countries I guess, to make international competitions more interesting. Maybe we could replace some of the unmanaged second division brazilian teams by the ones you mentioned. Wouldn’t hurt :)

Cheers!

All the options work for all players except the ones on position RC (Midfield and defence). There are no options to go “right” for these players. As well as the team has the ball as when the opponent has the ball. Can you fix this.
On the position LC everything is ok. I can go left and right there.

I Don’t know. For real, no coach use to put 0 players in the defense area, just like in the middle to. But I’ve already seen coachs with no attacker. But if you think this can fix this strange formations who am I to disagree….

Besides, this could disarm legal tatics that some managers use to advance his defense players to put the opposite attacker in off-side. This kind of tatic is a legal one.

Thanks

Hi,

I think there is a good idea if the game have some bigger teams than actuals like Bahia, Guarani, Bragantino, Paysandu for exemple.

Who knows it could bring more users?

Country specific rules implemented for league tie break. Now all countries except for Brazil have the following rule:

1) Goals scored – Goals conceived
2) Goals scored
3) Number of victories

And in Brazil:

1) Number of victories
2) Goals scored – Goals conceived
3) Goals scored

I know there are other rules regarding direct match between the tied teams and disciplinary criteria, but I we’ll stick with these rules for now.

Cheers!

For now you are able to setup individual tactics but they won’t have any effect during the matches. We’ll announce in the forums and remove the message when they start affecting the matches.

Cheers!

Our original idea was to display such arrows but we decided to take a more simplistic approach for now. Maybe we add then later.

Is it working yet because when i go to the page it says “This is still not being applied on the match”. Im not sure whether thats because its not yet in operation or because of some bug perhaps.

the changes are working! just one thing: shouldnt be appearing any arrows showing what was changed? (for exemple: if i want the player to go foward left, an arrow would apperar in the screen showing that)

I agree with you guys but I have another solution planned for that: give the attackers the chance to move back if they realize they’re offside, which is more realistic :)

Cheers!

I totally agree, some teams plays with formation 0-6-4, 0-5-5 for exemple.

Hy,

I suggest that managers would have to put a minimun players in each part of the field.
I do that because some managers just play without any players in defence area and make with that a lot off-sides for the opposite team. This take of the competitiveness for the game, without saying that its unreal!

Maybe 2 players for defense side, 2 for the m iddle and 1 for the attack would be a minimum demanded player.

Thanks
Regard

Don’t worry Wakrat, these Individual Tactis are not being applied during the matches yet, we’ll make sure they’re working correctly by the time they start affecting the matches.

Abraço. :)

hello Gabriel!
when i try to change setings at the “Individual Tactics” page, they dont work. An exclamation mark appears saying that i must try again, I’ve done everything to change it (even used IE!) and nothing happened. I use firefox V.1.9.0.3. (i think its the last update). If you could fix this, i’d appreciate it!

abraço!

This is a known problem Pedro, but it’s good that you mention it again to remind us the urgency of that. We have some plans to make it easier to score on some situations and also headers may affect that when we include them in the match.

Cheers!

In my last five games (and only ones in the game so far…:)) there was only 1 goal!!!!
Cup – Real Sociedad 0 Barcelona 0
Cup – Barcelona 1 Real Sociedad 0
National -Granada 0 Barcelona 0
National – Xerez 0 Barcelona 0
Cup – Celta Vigo 0 Barcelona 0

Is this normal? As I look to the League Table I really don’t see many goals… I prefer ties 5-5 :)

It is not predicted, but if a player has less skill points to improve it’s possible that he reaches his maximum before the 39 improvements. If a player has 100 skill points to improve and increase 3 points every time he will need only 34 improvements to reach his maximum.

does every player has 39 times an improvement or are some predicted to have less?

It is possible, but in the average they won’t. A player will have a total of 140 points to improve in the average, 20 per skill, so he needs to improve 3.6 points every time his skills increase to earn all 140 points after his possible 39 improvements. Of course some players will have less than 140 points to improve or you can be lucky to have a player always improving a high number of skills at once even without a level 10 department. In such cases you will be able to reach the player peak. Was that clear enough? :)

Cheers!

Hi Gabriel,

In an other topic you have mentioned something about coaches also effecting the players reaching their potential. Here is the direct quote".. Remember that the player may not reach his maximum potential if you don’t have a good coaching department. A level 4 department for instance should be enough to unlock half this potential."

So if a team doesnt have lvl 10 coaching department there is no way that a youth can reach his peak no matter how many games he plays?

Thanks in advance

JUst checking, my best one was like 70 if i remember correctly and i was able to get him like 76 at most….while other teams have players to 90+…no wonder it is hard to win from them in CL and thus we end up in a cirkel in which the german team always gets beat :S
