Hello!
I imagine there are lots of complaints and questions about poor scoring matches but i think my question here is a little more specific. I don’t want to sound like a bad loser but the last games results have been bothering me… Check these fast tick games out, plz:

Vitória x Ponte Preta
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/319540
0 × 0
4-4-2 formation 4-4-2
50% possession 50%
16 shots 29
13 shots on target 26
81% accurrate passes 56%
51% effective tackles 57%
1 corners 4
4 offsides 0
36 fouls 34

Palmeiras x Vitória
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/319576
0 × 0
4-4-2 formation 4-4-2
40% possession 60%
3 shots 18
2 shots on target 16
65% accurrate passes 50%
40% effective tackles 61%
0 corners 4
0 offsides 2
34 fouls 28

I know… their goalkeepers are great but i’ve played with 92/93 shooting skill atackers and i’ve put short distance shooting to improve the odds of scoring. And it’s not just that: the last 5 games or so have been the same story, great goalkeepers, lot more shots than the opponent… and even the opponent gets to score with less shots resulting in several draws.
So I’m having the following doubt: is the quality of the shots influenced by other factors other than the shooting skill of the atacker, the shooting distance and the opponent’s keeper quality? For example, could the quality of the opponents defenders or the type of tactics i’m using (other than the shooting distance) also influence the shots?
Other than improving the squad quality and relying on luck i’m beginning to think that at some point tactics is a little useless against a reasonable tactic and a great squad.

thanx in advance

Not really, what Dhimitri did was fire lots of players from his team in order to rebuild the squad. This was identified as a potential destructive action to the team and he was fired, even though nobody benefit from his actions.

Hello friends,

I agree all, it was a great surprise that all the german teams were knocked out of CL!!

My guess for this seasson:

CL – Recreativo or Getafe
UEFA – Blackpool
Libertadores – America-RN
SA – Goias
CWC – America-RN

Best regards to all,

Javier

Hi everybody,

¿Could be possible to have the match statistics also per player (maybe having a link on each player in the match report)? This is because I think it would be very usefull if we could know exactly the figures: Shoots, shoots on goal, % good passes, %good tackling, number of offsides, etc. of each player…

Thank you!!!

The truth is the board evaluation is too simple right now, they only evaluate single match results, it doesn’t matter if you have qualified to the next CL round or if your finance is good or if your squad has improved. We have plans to enhance the board and make the performance evaluation more complex. I believe the current logic may be unfair sometimes, but it is usually good as teams with high expectations can lose points more easily than teams with low expectations.

I think the board is extremely hard.

How is possible that with a tie at home the board penalty me with four points and with a victory away in Champions League (this wictory allow me to take next round) the board reward me with only one point!!!!?

Is this realistic? I think is much much much more easy to lose board points than to win.

This season, my team has won Spanish Cup, in Spanish League I have the fifth position (in this moment) with 15 wins 9 tie and 8 loses and we are in next round of Champions League and the balance is that since we start the season, we have lost 12 points with the board. Realistic?

Yes, there is. I’m pretty sure it is:

nr 1 grp 1 vs nr 2 grp 4
nr 2 grp 1 vs nr 1 grp 4
nr 1 grp 2 vs nr 2 grp 3
nr 2 grp 2 vs nr 1 grp 3

Control skill is now used when a player receives a pass. They may not completely control the ball (it may bounce on them) if their ability on this skill is low.

The group fase is almost over and the finals are coming up as we all know. But i had a talk with Sly and we both kinda wondered if there is a system to the apponent u get in the finals from the groups.
.
Something like: nr1 grp A vs nr2 grp B / nr2 grp A vs nr1 grp B and on..
.
Thanks in advance.

You got it right Sly. Germany might have the best 2 teams in Europe, but the lack of competition on the bundesliga make then weak. They dont have to fight game by game changing formation and strategics; Berlin and Hertha will win no matter who they play or what set up they use. CL is not like that, and no room to last minute changes in team set up.
In England, competition is tough, new comers are bulding strong teams, same in France, in italy Napoli though out the kings of calcio to sit steady in the top. Portugal did the magic getting the cl with a new comer, wow!!!!!!. La Liga you never know now, the old strong teams, Atletico, Recre and Valladolid are still very strong team, but each season new comers are making the liga as strong as the brasileirao, you never know who is going to fill the first 6 teams or who will go to 2nd division……. and that is fun!!!!!!!!
Anyway Ruby is getting better because, now competion is served.
SALUDO2

Germany had been dominating from the start of this game haven’t they?
.
Problem with germany is that there are only 2 AWESOME teams and that’s Hertha and Bayern. They always dominate the league and it seems it’s always a fight between those teams for the title. I think there is a big skill gap between them and the other teams.
.
Because of the now oh so cool Group stage in CL, there are more UEFA points to go around. Germany don’t get as many UEFA points as some other country, because there are only 2 teams collecting them. The UEFA teams never seem to get very far and there for don’t get many point.
.
Philip you should help out your fellow country teams! It’s in your best intrest that Germany does well :D. That’s how the “Rat pack” does it in france :P
