gabriel, i didn’t mean that regarding my first question… what i meant was “high number of shots should not necessary mean more goals”. we can keep shooting from long distance, but that should not increase the chances of goal too much. (unless he is christiano). i meant more number of realistic shots should increase the chances of goals. as i have listed some of those above. we could have more feedback from other players regarding the realistic shots…

First of all thanks, luis. We thought about adding some training specifics before the whole staff departments idea was implemented, we haven’t planned anything related since them. I believe this could be added in the future, but we have to analyze carefully this change in order to not make players evolution a mess as it was before (you were not around, but players used to improve too fast in the past).
It’s possible i didn’t then, i thought i’d checked and double checked it after messing my first game up, not to worry then, thanks for looking. On a positive note i got some good increases on my youth academy :)

I’ve just checked your last FA Cup game, no formation was set so your default was used. Are you sure you hit save button in the matches page after selecting your match formations?
That’s exactly what they have…you just can’t be sure the total is 140, this number is just an average ;)
This could without doubt have been an error on my part, but twice in my fa cup game in medium ticker my default formation was used (friendley) instead of the formation i thought i’d set. After the first game, thinking i’d made a monumental c**k up, i’m 99% sure i made sure i set it, i dont know if you can check this gabriele.

I have a player in fast tick(Albacete) that I want to transfer, however the board won’t let me go lower than $23,231,013. He is worth over $92M but I believe that selling him for $23M will be very difficult. I know minimum transfers are in place so that teams can’t be stripped of all their players. I feel that $23M is unrealistic for this player and I won’t be able to sell him – he is taking a valuable spot on my 30 player squad. Can something be done about this?

Regarding your first question (lots of long shots increasing the probability of goals) I was thinking something like making the keeper lose stamina every shot, but the amount lost is related to the difficult to defend the shots, so lots of long shots wouldn’t make him lose that much.
Netherlands was added later on the game, so dutch players “were born” older than usual, except for the youths.
Is this an error?? I have a player in medium ticker, who was born on 10th season. currently this is 12th season and that player is already 24 years of age… It was a shocking information to me, as i thought players were normally born as 16-17 years old??

i have a small question regarding the next update on shots on goal…
we can shoot the goal post every time with a long distance shot from the centre half, but does that increase the probability of goals???
gabriel, i think we can narrow down the type of shots that are likely to score goals ( considering all the factors like goalkeepers abilities and goal strikers abilities)
some of the likely cases to be considered are below:

Sometimes we score a lot, but I lost to an outsider 0-3 away just because I lost. It hurts and the Board was mad, but, of course, I am not complaining either =) I just want ny players score easier against weaker GKs and defenders, because “goal festivals” are so rare in Brazil Serie A =)

The main idea I think we could work on what you’ve written Dhimitri is that as the number of shots on goal raise we could make it increasingly easier to score. I’ll experiment a few changes with this idea after I finish the current match enhancements I’m working on.
