We’ll that, I agree it’s completely ridiculous :)
I thought i have seen the worst lineups from CPU already, but this: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/541146
Can u please give the cpu teams some brains and let them play normal lineups?
I find this proposal very interesting. I think it seems very realistic – many teams have at least one experienced player in every chain for the younger players to lean on. This suggestion would also increase the value of older players as their presence in the starting line-up benefits the whole squad.
I was thinking about punishing managers who do that…if a manager let’s a loaned player exceed the number of matches without playing 3 times we forbid him to loan players for a given period…how does that sound?
It already happened 2 times this season:
Someone gets my player for loan, do nothing with him than he returns. 3 turns after he get the same player and do nothing again.
I don´t want to receive money, but the other side should receive a fee and lose some money. It is too irresponsibility without punishment.
We don´t have a loan filter to avoid specific team or league, so this could happen for the third time if I put the same player to loan.
i don’t :(. we should have it like Managersim. Just have 1 forum with the name “Player Market”. Where you ask for a certain player or post a good player you have for sale.
yah… i sold most of my players too… i don’t know if anyone checks the transfers thread
damn right!
This 27-28 upgrade seems like a controversial subject…what about -1 for 30 y.o. and -2 for 29 y.o?
well 99-3= 96 or 94-3=91 , in total a big difference :)
i don’t agree with the 27-28 upgrade either…
For this player the skill punishment of 3 will make him less effective in the attack.
Nevertheless I had a defender with Genoa in fastticker (Owen Pearce) who had 99 shooting and good secondaries. Let him play in front and he made many important goals. So It’s always a guess…
I think the logical choice would be what Kuro says. His idea is more “realistic”, but the sole purpose of the idea is to make older players more valuable. Although I don’t agree with the 27-28 upgrade…
The market atm is just to crap already, this can only drive up the prices of older players EVEN MORE, since they become more valuable…..
Thats an M player who will get -3 on all stats if he plays on attacker…..
kuroyuki, this has been introduced in RS to make the older players more valuable, even when they start losing skills…
we understand your point, but as we lower the age a little too much, the older players again will be relatively useless…
An initial press releases box is out. Still have to do some work on it, but you guys can already enjoy.
i’m kinda confused to, just in the prem league and have to stay in the division says my board which is ofc obvious.
So what’s happening now……..i’m actually fighting for the title and i don’t have a clue why i ended last season on the 12th place and now…hhmm
Cool, thanks!
To reduce the impact on the current season we’ll wait until next season to activate an enhancement for the older players rules: -2 away penalty for 27-28 years old players and -1 away penalty for 29-30 years old players.
I’ll implement Alexander’s suggestion next season, -2 penalty for 27-28 years old players and -1 penalty for 29-30.
Waiting for the season start means we’ll have this kind of change every 48 days only :D
I understand your complaints, but old players will still have their skills decreased, it’s just a way to make them valuable for an extended period. And you have a great team, you’ll be able to face this challenge ;)
You need to wait 1 complete season (144 turns) before being able to a recently managed team.
I think than to change the behavior of the older players in the most important part of the season, it is not fair…. new rules should be applied when season is over or at the start of a new one. This way, a manager can know where to stand with the team.
In my personal case, i have being selling all my great old player so, so so soooooo CHEAP. And know, all sudden they are great for the team!!!!! Wow, nice…… so know older teams are better than young, because they are all they develop and youngsters not!!!.
I dont think older players must be that positive. It is good, they influence youngsters, but lets faced, it is better ronaldinho know or five seasons ago……..
Please make changes just in the start or end of the season, this is not fair.
salud2
Yeah, but everyone have read this topic and in the transfer thread it’s just another transfer :)
we have a thread for this type of post don’t we? :P
How long until I can go back to a team I recently managed? I’m past my 32 turns.
I’m with Dirk on this one, we cannot lower too much the age since the idea is to make older players more interesting and strategic.
When you would lower the age till 24, the 30+ aged players will become useless again. A 30+ aged player is already loosing skillpoints so in general the 24 y.o. player will be better.
It is possible that we return to the original idea of letting managers decide the ticket price, but first we need to develop a good and consistent relation between ticket price and match attendance (considering of course the factors that we already consider like match competition, team quality, league position or cup round, etc).
Press Releases are just informational texts a manager can write and post about their teams like saying his expectations for the next season, talking about his accomplishments, anything he wants. These will probably be available either from the newspaper and from the manager or team page. Interviews should be the next step when it comes to newspaper.
