I assure it’s not random, otherwise we wouldn’t have some managers winning titles in a row in some countries ;)

This game makes no sense, it’s so random it’s ridiculous. I’ve brought in around ten new players all worth over £1 Million yet I lost 0-4 to Preston at home despite them only having three half-decent players. WFT ????

With negative balance your departments will be downgraded until you reach positive balance. If that’s not enough, players will be “sold” and disappear from the game. If that’s not enough (you’ve reached 14 players and is still negative) you’re fired and the team finances restructured (wages are balanced and the team receives enough money to be in regular situation.
What happens when you have a negative balance?

It’s difficult to make a new team when this team has almost nothing in cash.
The problem is that my good players are too good to give them away for a very low price and the others I can sell won’t be bought because they are too old.
I suggest a startercapital when a manager applies for a job in a club that has less than 5M for instance. With 5M you’re comfortable enough to start managing your new team.

Looking into it. I suppose you’re filling the fields in the “Field reassign” section cause that’s the only situation where I’ve had problems. You don’t need to do that if you wanna replace your keeper, just fill the “from” position with G, uncheck the “generic” option and select the keeper to replace the one in the field.
Whenever I try to create a new rule to substitute a keeper for another (friendly game), I get the following error message:

After a pretty successful period in Genoa, it’s time for a new challenge in another country.
I hope the new manager can give Genoa their 16th italian title in ruby history…by beating Napoli.
I’m leaving Genoa probably after the next tick so most of you had a chance to read this post and manage the most successful team in Italy. I didn’t say the best :)

In addition, it’s my opinion that all such firings or releases by ghost managers should be overruled regardless of player value or the team that have hired the player in a bidding war for the simple reason that the result is market distortion.

charles, i just meant to say we have had different kind of restrictions here, and it is always debatable which one is better than the other… may be soccerism had a lot of rules, but if someone says “having death penalty for every offence would eradicate all the crimes in a country”, i would certainly disagree with that…
i would just want required restriction and more freedom for manager to manage his country although without him being able to abuse the finance…
i have always felt that is the best way… (but that doesn’t mean i am always right)
