England will welcome you with arms wide open!!!

I can only imagine the 1-2 punch we can offer in CL 4-6 seasons from now.

I’ll probably go to England, there are more human managed teams there and some other great names like ManUnt or Chealsea without a manager :D

We are currently investigating the matter, does not seem exactly like cheating but some kind of arrangement between the managers who know each other. Transfers between them are already blocked (as well as the users’ accounts) while we continue discussing that with GMs.

Your posts get more incredible every time, the same as Liverpool, just kicking ass in Europe :D

I defintly agree our CL Group was the hardest by far, I needed an away draw to get it but it doesn’t happen… The last matches don’t count, the losing teams had no motive to fight anymore :D

I’ll probably go to England this or the next season (depending on National Teams managers selection). There are some major named teams in the Division 1 I think it would be a great challenge to get them back on the top…

Winds of change
It seems now most probably that I will leave Guimarães at the beginning of Season 44, I’m very glad with the job done here (thou the last few seasons were not that great) but I think it is time to change and I want to try something really new, I’m hoping to manage a National Team (luckily Portugal) but if that doesn’t happen I will leave for another “regular” team, this time not Portuguese team.

If you are looking for a team with some prospect I would recommend you Guimarães, I believe some of the youngsters will be the best players in the world.

PS: If the new manager whats he can use this topic :D

Just to alert you guys in advance that due to the structural changes made to accomodate national teams the season tick might get stuck, even though I’m confident this will not happen. In case it does, don’t worry, it will be taken care of ;-)

Cheers.

An almost Extraordinary season.

Liverpool managed to repeat the success of last season by claiming the treble in domestic and continental competition. However, in what seemed like a mirror to last year, the Reds failed again to overcome the mighty Tigre, losing the CWC with 2-1 score.

FA CUP
An easy journey for the Red Army as they played most of the competition with their second string at raving performances. The final saw Liverpool and Blackpool in a rematch for the second year in row, with the former winning again with a 3-0 score that left no room for debate.

Premier League
Liverpool dominated this season again from start to finish, with everyone else left to compete for the second place. The Red Men scored a record breaking 158 goals despite playing their last 12 games with their second string. They wrapped up the title by week 30, in a show of both Liverpool dominance and the general weakness of the Premier League. We hope some of the managers do wake up from the recent lethargy to create more competition both domestically and internationally. England can surely use some international points, which would guarantee a better pool of youth for the future. Presently, there is no chance of this happening.

Champions Legue.
Liverpool managed to win Group D, which from our own personal opinion, it was the toughest CL group this season, also featuring Portugal Runners Up of Vitoria Guiamares, the Turkish Champs of Galatasary, and the French Champs of Rennes. The final spots of the group were decided only in the 6th week, with Liverpool destroying the Rennes second string 9-1, and Guiamares excelling against Galatasary with a 6-0 futile win.
The quarterfinal draw was benefical to the Reds who faced Fenerbahce, only to get read of them with a 7-2 aggregate.
Liverpool and Sporting de Gijon met in the semis in what could be considered to be a premature final. The Reds triumphed in a 4-0 aggregate with Alfonso “The Black Spider” Berrugoso being the star of the series with two shutouts and a perfect rating of 10.0. In the last 3 seasons, Berrugoso has managed 4 shutouts in 7 matches against his former employees. Credit goes to Gijon who deserved something more out of this series, but who unfortunately dropped the home leg with a 0-3 score thanks to Berruguoso’s acrobatic saves.

The final.
Liverpool-Valladolid 3-1.
Last season Liverpool met Valladolid in the semis and Gijon in the final. This season, the Spanish giants switch places, alas to no effect. A beautiful game with plenty of chances from both sides. The game could have gone either way and Valladolid clearly dominated ball posession. However, the Reds turned out to be more prolific in front of the goal. The Reds scored first with Amado from a corner at the half hour mark. Abreu tied the game 2 minutes before the before break. Two goals from Amado and Vasconcelos with 3 minutes from each other ended Valladolid’s hopes and gave the Reds the second title in as many years.
Liverpool now counts 4 CL titles, shared by former legend Henrique Dias and the current manager.

CWC Final.
We knew it would have been mighty hard to win this one. Tigre is perhaps the best team this world has ever witnessed, perfect in every position on the pitch. But Liverpool, true to their spirit, fought till the end, in a match of equals, but ultimately falling short to the supremacy of Tigre talents.
2-1 the final score
No regrets though. In a way, the legendary British team, has been unlucky to rise at a time dominated by the sci-fi quality of the Argentinian team. But in time, we can rest assure the Red Army will manage to get its hands on the trophy.

Looking at the future.
Despite the relatively old age (it will average 31.2 years of age next season) the current starting eleven is strong enough to compete at the highest levels for another 2-3 seasons). In addition, the Red Army enjoys a very interesting second string with young and coming talents such as Cardozo and Bellot in attack, Vinet, Ferret, and Dubuc in midfield, Brault, Dimitri, and Heitman in defense.
It won’t be a surprise if the managers decided to shuffle his team, with some of the veterans leaving to open space for the young talents that storms the team. Future is definitely bright for the current Champs!!!

National teams can now be experienced in all their glory! Apply right away for a job and don’t worry, if you are accepted you’ll be able to manage both your club and the national team. It takes 12 turns for a national team to decide who will be the manager. Here is the final design:

-national team matches do not give players experience (to prevent manager from selecting their clubs’ players)
-you cannot apply to a national team if you are already in a national team
-you cannot apply to a national team if you managed a national team in the last 144 turns (1 season)
-you can change the players from the team players page and pick from lists of best players for each position
-managers that do not reach their continental cup expectations are fired from the national team
-managers that do not exceed their world cup expectations are fired from the national team
-expectations are defined 3 turns before the competitions start and will be based on the players selected for the competition
-when selecting a manager for the national team it makes no difference wether or not you manage a club in the same country (that may change in the future)

Enjoy!

Yes Dimitri he played a full season with Chacarita, not with Erzgebirge. We are in season 43 and he is contracted at turn 129 (after competition) in season 43.

Thanks Dave, looks like we have some cheaters here. I’ll bring the subject to the GMs and we’ll act on that soon.

These two did the same thing in Medium Ticker too!!! LOL Joined the same time, did a shady transfer deal. wtf…

Gabriel, you MUST kick them out!

And… Gabriel, did you kick any other player out just before these “two” showed up? I’m betting its one guy, and this guy played here before, because he clearly knows what he’s doing.

Ban him. and Ban both his networks!!!

New rule. Managers MUST stay with their new team for a minimum of one full season. That will eliminate half of this nonsense… or at least make the cheats work harder.

I want both “managers” banned.
I want Kaiserslauten and Erzgebirge to get their money back.
I want Felix’s team deleted, and re-stocked with crap players.

Do you GET that everyone???

in the space of 13 turns… Joaquim, managing two different teams… GAVE 60 MILLION DOLLARS to Felix… for:

TWO 34year old mids, and a RETIRED 36 yo forward!!! LMFAO!!!!

Do NOT even TRY to tell me these guys aren’t cheating. And thats not even counting the earlier crap they pulled!!!

THIS season:

turn 116: Joaquim buys a 34 yo Mid for 34 million dollars from Felix.
turn 117: Joaquim quits Kaiserslauten
turn 118: Joaquim joins Erzgebirge
turn 129: Joaquim buys 36 yo RETIRING Attacker for 5 million dollars from Felix, after the Bundesliga season is OVER!!!
turn 129: Joaquim buys 34 yo Mid for 20 million dollars from Felix.

Previously, Joaquim bought 2 young players for 3 million each, from Felix, while Joaquim was managing Weisbaden.
Joaquim also bought another young player, for 3 million!!!, from Felix, while managing Kaiserslauten.

All 3 players are not worth anywhere near that amount.

Funny how all 3 were bought for 3 million… all from Felix… all to Joaquim… who then left those teams. So don;t be telling me he’s trying to “build a team”.

Its straight up CHEATING.

Kick them out, or I’m leaving.

5 million dollars for a retiring player… when you have NO games left (only friendlies…) that is the DEFINITION of CHEATING.

I am disgusted.

More than that, I am saddened that some people’s lives are SO PATHETIC that they choose to cheat in a free game amongst their peers. If you are better than me… good for you… show me. Prove it. When you cheat, you prove only that YOU are a loser.

Good luck in life “Felix”, and you too “Joaquim”. Losers…

I believe Ilian is correct. Felix Cardoso is cheating with Joaquim F. I only saw this by accident… Gabriel, I do not believe you should have closed the other thread. How could you look at the transfers between “Joaquim F.” and “Felix Cardoso” and NOT see that they are cheating???

WTF! “Joaquim F.” bought 2 ANCIENT players from “Felix” on turn 129. So he got them AFTER the bundesliga season was OVER… and one of the players is RETIRING THIS YEARAND he paid “Felix” 5 MILLION dollars for him… for NOTHING.

The other player is very good, but he is 34 years old, AND he is paid 35000 a turn!!! He is worth 25million… so he was a “bargain” at 19million transfer sum!!! LOL

If this was the only thing… OK… maybe.

Joaquim and Felix have been doing this since they started.
Felix starts season 40, turn 106.
Joaquim starts season 40, turn 99.

Joaquim is immediately helping Felix… first from Weisbaden, then again from Kaiserslauten, now from Erzgebirge. (I guess Monaco and Allemania Achen didn;t have enough money to help poor old Felix out any, so Joaquim had to move on).

Gabriel, if you don’t kick these cheaters out, and thoroughly investigate the others Ilian mentioned, then this game DESERVES to die.

Ilian is clearly correct about “Felix Cardoso” in FT he is clearly cheating with “Joaquim F.”

I have not looked at any of the others that Ilian mentioned… I just stumbled across “Joaquim F.”

Both of them should be banned in my opinion. And I would think you would want to look closely at the others Ilian mentioned. I have not looked at them.

There was an error in the tick guys (you’ve probably realized that by now) but unfortunately it’s almost midnight here and I’ve just got home from a trip, so don’t expect it to be fixed today. The result is this tick will finish 24 hours later than it should to keep the matches schedule. Now just relax and enjoy the rest of your weekend…playing on MediumTicker! :-D

Cheers!
