That’s pretty harsh, but I definitely understand the feeling! I see some managers do very well with what most would not consider a superb squad, while others really need the top players to do well. To me that shows that tactics play an important role and some managers learned and adapted to beat their opponents.
In order to understand what is going on with your team somebody would have to take a closer look. I’ve seen situations in the past where managers gave some specific advice to others and that made a big difference in the results.
Probably wont even make the Euro League now, dropped like a stone.
Are results just purely random? Having superior players at every position is obviously irrelevant.
We have made a change so that coach reports are never inconclusive. This means that when you go check a completed report it won’t say things like “I’m not sure how this player can improve”. We felt the way things were it was very frustrating sometimes, especially if your coach level was not that high and you had to wait a long time for a report result only to find out it was inconclusive.
As far as I know, it has never been confirmed that there is a hidden form factor. However, I also often have those streaks of good or bad results. When things go bad, I usually just wait for better times. Not sure if that is the best strategy, but so far it has worked :)
When form turns bad, what do you do? When do you notice it, how do you mitigate its effects?
I was #1 in the English Premier League. Since then, 5 draws, 3 losses.
I am overdue to fix stuff, any suggestions?
No recent change, must be an existing bug on that screen which has been there for a while. Will have a look once back from holidays.
Hi,
has a change been made to Coaching screen? The Coaching – Report View screen now does not let me organise the columns.
When I want to check my coach reports, I just go there, and organise it by the Age column. That means I can easily see at the top, the most recent report results.
Can we get it back or at least have this page organised by Age descending? Such a pain now to check coach reports.
Regards,
due to time shortage i’m not back mate, sorry :)
just really interested. If you ever change your mind: please contact me!
Perhaps selling the sourcecode? Will build around it with own design etc etc?
If you have been following the news you know about the huge bushfires burning across Australia. We have decided to donate all the net income from ruby sales in the month of January to support the firefighters and wildlife groups below:

Hi Robert,
Not at the moment ;-)
By the way, good to see you back!
Cheers
Can’t find a other way to contact you guys, but would you be interested in selling a copy of the sourcecode?
Could someone contact me @ robertschmidt22@hotmail.com?
The manager settings screen has a new layout and a new option where you can choose how many turns in advance you want to see the contract expiring icon beside the player’s name in the player list screen. The default value for everyone is 36 turns, but you can now change it to 0, 12, 24 or 72.
The game follows the official rules for penalty shootouts:
“Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any).”
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penalty_shoot-out_(association_football)
I had to research again to refresh my memory, glad to find out we did it correctly.
Hi,
I just had a penalty shootout and my guys who scored do not show their penalty goals in their stats.
For example, my Defender scored the final penalty kick goal. However, in the Team and Individual Player Stats pages, he still has ZERO penalty goals, and ZERO goals overall.
Without his goal, we would not have qualified for the next round, I had assumed that these all count as legitimate scores?

Your scouts can now be requested to only look for players of a given nationality. By default they will look for any nationality. Remember we are talking about the player’s country of birth, not the country he is currently playing in.
Nice!
That should not be hard Dimitri, I’ll try to devote some time to that before I complete the work for the new dimension.
If it’s not too much trouble, is it possible to add searching for a nationality as an option in scouting?

The number of players you can buy from the same manager per season has been increased from 2 to 3.
The player Aggressiveness attribute has been removed from the game. We realised the attribute was not relevant enough to influence managers buying/selling decisions or match results. This is a small but important first step in simplifying some aspects of the game and also making room in the user interface in preparation for our mobile app.
Players with performance bonus stars only provide their bonus while they’re on the field. If they are not playing or leave the field for any reason, their bonus stop being applied. Similarly, if they enter the field during the match then their bonus start being applied.
This should not only be more realistic in terms of players only being motivated if their star teammates are playing but also it will avoid situations where rich teams would retain such star players just for their bonuses, even if they were not intending to use them in the field.
Selling A class players. Make offers please
As discussed in our Facebook page, we have completed the change where CPU teams will always lose bids against managers, unless the wage offered by the managers are lower than the minimum the player would accept.
There are 8 new inactive teams in Germany in both dimensions, which means the bottom 3 teams in 2. Bundesliga will be relegated by the end of the season. The teams added are currently in the top 2 German divisions in real life and therefore deserve a place in the game.
That’s because it is your coaching level that matters. I know, it is counter intuitive so the message needs to be more specific. I didn’t want managers to rely on the team loaning the player having decent coaching, so the easiest way was to always consider the owning team coaching level.
Hi,
When I run a coaches report, it recommends ‘coaching level x’.
When I set up a player to loan, there is no option to require the team to have a coaching level.
Ta
You are correct about pressure handling. If I remember correctly the only performance related trait that is applicable to national teams is the plays better/worse on second half.
Don’t know if this has been asked but can someone tell which of the player trais have effect in national team?
Also, I assume as all national matches are in neutral ground, pressure has no effect right?
Cheers!
