I don’t care about Brazil’s position in the ranking, I’m not even playing in Brazil anymore :)
The world cup is a complex subject DaMaGo, you can expect an official poll about it soon.
Saludos!

I’ve seen that happen a few times in brazilian league when I was playing there. Not usual though.

That’s weird, it worked here. Have you tried to refresh the page (F5)? Which browser are you using?

Don’t worry guys, I think we can stop talking about this subject already. For those using excel try your copy and paste with “hide flags” checked, it should be working now ;)

I guess the manager should be able to pick…but that could be a problem if the manager picks his clubs opponents players on purpose…
So many things to think about…so much fun! :D

Right, that’s what I thought.

Talking about national teams, would the national team manager also manage a club?

I’ll try something later today, let’s see if it works.

Maybe less accurate passes = less shots…I’ll give it a try :)
I’m pretty sure the field is larger than that, Alban :D

I didn’t fix anything, just added an option for those who didn’t like the flags to hide them ;)

If you mean in their own column, I’ve tried it and got some weird results when I clicked on hide flags…let’s see if I can figure out a way to fix it.

But it would require a lot of work to check the nationality of all your players :)

Cards, loan, transfer and injury info was already there. Now we have the player names twice and the country name :)
Unfortunately there’s not much we can do, except maybe add an export to excel button, but that’s definitely low priority.

I added a “hide flags” check box ;)

@DaMaGo and Filipe: be patient guys, these are not simple features but they will be added…currently I don’t have any big feature planned, just working on small bug fixes / improvements, maybe my next big feature could be one of these ;)

@Alban: wow, never seen this on RS :)
@thorpedo: Milan guys learned how to play against your team :D … just kidding, there is no simple explanation for these 2 different results…

Thanks for the opinions guys. I have a similar problem, Parag :)
I’m thinking about not displaying the flags when you enter the page and add a checkbox like the “colorize” one saying something like “show flags” or “show nationalities”, whatever…when checked the flags would show up, when unchecked they’d be hidden.
How does that sound?

It’s just informative, not really helpful…the first time I looked at it on my machine I liked, now I think it’s somewhere between nice and chaotic :P
Who else?

Exatamente andré, como o adversário fez 4 gols na sua casa e vc fez 2 gols na casa dele foi ele quem se classificou :)

Abraço.

Looks like Alban had an epiphany :)
That sounds interesting, I may add that to the poll we’ll make soon regarding world cup for clubs.

This message is displayed whenever the transfer price you’re offering is higher the amount of money available, which is the total amount of money you have minus the transfer price of any open proposals you have.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

There are extra points for passing to the next phases, Filipe. The amount of points for reaching the group stage is 3 times greater than the amount for reaching the following phases, and this is equivalent to the amount of points received after a tied match.

Welcome, Mauras!
Me and Danilo used to play Soccersim when it was already called ManagerSim, and we loved it. We started to the develop this game before the end of MS but it was only when that happened that we took it seriously. Even though there are several similarities we wrote this from scratch. Peter Strand only gave us his his European data like player names and surnames lists, leagues and cup names.
Regarding your comment about the world size, we have few countries just because we’re still growing and don’t have enough users to populate a bigger world. It is better when most teams are controlled by human managers. More countries should be added soon anyway, it will certainly improve the game experience.
The name RubySoccer is inspired in the language we use to develop the game, which is called Ruby. Now if you ask me why soccer instead of football…well, I guess we talk too much with people from U.S. :P

Yes, the greater the distance of the receiving player, higher the chance to miss the pass.

There was an error in the passing interception logic some time ago. After that was fixed the passing accuracy increased a lot. I agree the number is too high, the players should miss passes more frequently.
