well, as far as i know, system only provides contracts to those ask for it, during the vacation mode.
and know what, to my disarray, it provided contract to one of those youths whom i didn’t want to. and i had to later pay around 34K to fire him…
i have noticed similar cases, but that was during the freekicks. and since that was a free kick in my half, i thought game system was clever enough to recognize the crucial free kicks. So, i didn’t give much thought to that.
And also one more thing. if i don’t want any priority in taking free kicks ( after setting it once before), there seems no way to remove it.
either i need to change the player or simply remove that player from the match to ensure he is not the primary shooter. Even if he is removed from the match and plays no longer any part in it, his name still remains on the kick taker. ( penalty/freekick/corner kick).

What is the role of aggresiveness in normal style of play??
As we know aggressiveness is not just a footballing trait, it is a quality which can make a difference between great and very good persons, or in similar way difference between normal and worse.
AS mentioned in the help, players having more aggresiveness may commit more fouls and have higher chances to get cards in the hard tackle mode.
But what about in the normal tackle mode…
For eg, what happens if 2 players have all the other skills equivalent except for the aggresiveness.
Lets say one has 100 aggresiveness and another has 50. How will this aggresiveness make these 2 players different from each other. How will this trait affect other skills (since aggresiveness is not a skill in itself).

i was just trying to confirm whether that “reserved ticket” price going to the visiting club or host club?? if it doesn’t go to the visiting club then, the current system is alright, but if it goes then, i was just trying to suggest why not make it like that.

had it been there in the first place, the admins must have implemented it earlier ( since they have done it for friendly fixtures).
you can create more formations ( as many as you need) and assign those formation against the teams (depending on the kind of teams you are playing against). you may want a defensive formation against stronger teams and a different one against weaker teams.
this is just one way of doing it. i am sure there are other ways too…
In real life certain percentage of match day tickets are always fixed for away fans, and the away teams do receive that amount ( although i am not sure). Although in case of friendly matches, we receive some amount on away fixtures, we don’t receive any amount for league fixtures.
Although there will not be any change (or little if any) because we will see increment of revenue in away fixtures and decrement in home fixtures. (But i am not sure how the ticket %age is divided and how the clubs share the revenue in real life, so please forgive me if i am wrong).
So, can we have such revenue sharing in home away fixtures??? As i said its effect on revenue would be nominal, but then it could change something for clubs with smaller stadiums when they play away fixtures against clubs which have bigger stadiums.

If you check the number of offsides against my team, they are always higher than that of the opponents. I am not complaining, but just curious, why?
Once even when my formation was 6-3-1 ( 6 defenders) i had more offsides than my opponent

I have maintained an excel copy of players statistics after every tick. ( well, except those ticks which occur when i am in sleep, but almost all).

My coaching is also 10, and after playing 37 games ( 36 friendlies and 1 league game) my 17 yr old kid has following developments (after 1 season)
Passing => 2
Speed => 3
Dribling => 1
Control = > 2
Header = > 1
But he is a defender, and i am surprised to see that he hasn’t developed a single bit on his primary skill.
May be i am just crying sour grapes, but then someone could advise me.
And he is the one who has grown most… i had to let other guys go because of lack of development.
How about having a balance sheet which shows the summary of “Finance” for each season.
Similar to the one we currently have for each 3-Turn period, but it should show the summary of 1 season, including profit and loss and balance forwarded to another season.
This is not a replacement for the current one we have, but an additional feature.
ok… hopefully those over inflated players of mine will also have their values reduced… There should be a “buyout” clause where we could mention players “buy-out” value, without having them listed on the transfer market.
But this is not an immediate thing… just an idea:)
i am not sure about the “go back” option, but “Move Back” means the player will move back one square and play in that position when the opponent has the ball (As mentioned in the help file) .
“All Back” must mean that this player will go back to play as a defender, for eg, in case of corners and free kicks. ( i am not sure though, gabriel might or might not confirm). In general run of play its difficult for a player to return back and play as defender whenever opponent has the ball… But i cannot say how this thing has been implemented in the match engine.

Does it change at every tick (regardless of any changes to their stats) or at every tick on which their stats get changed??
I have a player whose stat got increased but then the his value got decreased by $747. If it was due to the market forces, the value of other players might have decreased as well.
i can’t agree with sly fully though…
if you have a good young player and if you can loan them to others who are willing to take him, then what is the problem. And besides this doesn’t happen in every case. these are some exceptional cases, where you have some exceptional young players. And that happens in real life too.
Although i said i cannot agree with Sly fully, i agree with him partially.
So, what we could do is, may be out of 20 development points a player has, the youth development could be made faster for the initial 5 (or 10) development points. Now we can argue on the definition of the term “faster”. It could be 2 points (or 3 points) for every friendly played, 5 (6) points for every league/cup matches played and so on…
But we can still discuss more and come to a more agreeable solution, if this is debatable one :)
