u have answered it yourself… in all the official games, ( from real world to ruby soccer), 3 substitutions are allowed per match (except for friendlies).
well, i might have had a better tactics out there ;)
PS: My keeper was man of the match in the same game…
Bordeaux -——————- Paris SG
4-3-3 formation 4-4-2
48% possession 52%
9 shots 38
8 shots on target 33
71% accurrate passes 55%
49% effective tackles 65%
0 corners 9
6 offsides 3
12 fouls 20
Paris SG had an astonishing 33 shots on target and 9 corners. but couldn’t score a goal.
I was lucky that i got a penalty. is this normal that u don’t score a goal after 33 shots on target?
i am really amused, coz i feel we had some information about players current season over there…
it may be because of new season has just started and these players don’t have any current stats for this season.
But then, we still have enough space on the lower-right portion of the same screen.
makes sense :) ;) but we are managers lol , we always try to make things easy, unlike developers :P :P
thanks gabriel
ahh, alexander, thank u… i had missed that point :)…
alban, i am not sure if it is on 1-on-1 situations, as it is not clearly mentioned. the text just says goalkeepers will use this formulae from now onwards…
Can we have the colour indicator in “Transfers/Loans” section too??? (like the one we have in Players Abilities section).
It would be easy to look for good players.
As far as i know, the formula for calculating keepers efficiency is
“(keeping X 0.6 + speed X 0.4) X dribling / 100”.
I have two players with the following skills. One of them is goalkeeper and another is a defender
Name———————-Pos—-Sde—-Age—-Kpg—-Tac—-Pas—-Sho—-Spe—-Dri—-Ctr—-Hea—-Agg—-Wage——-Value
Mattia Belcore——-G——-NA——24——-89——-41——74——30——-79——-81——76——80——46——$6,830——$6,560,961
Lorenzo Vezzosi—-D——-LC——22——-50——-85——75——79——-96——-100—-81——93——100—-$13,882—-$30,932,731
Using the above formula, the ultimate skill for My goalkeeper has the final value of 68.85, whereas my defender has a final value of 68.4
Since that value is not of huge difference, can i interchange both for the goalkeeping position???
congratulations javier…
Now netherlands is here in medium ticker, why not change the description???
vaughn, that is what should have happened.
After the 55th minute, as soon as you got ahead by 1, you player got replaced. since, you got ahead after 75 minutes, he was replaced only after that.
what you need to realise is that, it is not “at 55”, it is after 55, which means any time after that.
well… gabriel i would say the current improvement is not that bad… but i still maintain that definition of youth should include all the teenage players… ( rather than those just in the academy)…
that way we will see a lil bit faster development in our players…
Very good player up for sale. Have a look at his stats.

damago, i am not sure whether these one-off cases are always possible and are really the norm of this game system… what if a team doesn’t have 10 millions to spend???
but yes i would agree you on developing. i got one striker for 1.4 million (23 years) went from 83 to 88 in 60 turns and has developed 15 points in total, and he is still developing. But i am not sure if everyone will release such important players every time.
But then, if the selling team doesn’t have strong coaching skills then, we have more opportunity to develop that player.
bruno… firing would cost 2 millions, but then keeping him in the team for seasons could cost even more, specially if he is not a good player…
but if he is a good player then, try to make the most of him by playing him as many matches… that is the only thing we could say… firing good player may lead you to lose incomes from merchandise, so, beware of that part …
and sometimes when the players improve, their transfer value gets readjusted. and who knows when that happens, you might start loving him…
ya… i guess what you have done to netherlands is pretty unfair… i would welcome any of your moves to rectify those…
but then, i am pretty new, so, i don’t know what was the condition of other leagues when they were started…
ya… thhose percenctages were never going to be hardcoded… that would take away all the fun… and the system would be too much predictable… when we meant x% it was always going to be around or at an average for all the players…
but lets give them good infrastructures in the beginning… they might struggle to generate revenue with 10000 size stadiums in the beginning…
yah… that would be good :)
The Curious Case of Pascali Agosti..
those are astronomical at the moment for me :)
sponsors are not the only way for income… there are other sources too… :) any way… that question of mine was just for fun, but then.
regarding real life, look at spurs and new castle … ( new castle’s problem for next year is not due to wins/loss, it is a different story)…
thanks gabriel… that would be good.
welcome back gabriel…
i am fine with what you and philipp have said… in fact i like the idea.
well… sly, thats just my opinion… i am not going for a personal battle out here… it should be more of consensus… let other players raise their voices too… if everyone agrees with you, i don’t have any problem with that…. but it seemed logical for me that younger players improve faster than the established ones, like they do in real life. nothing more to say in this post from my side :)
cheers…
Hopjes, we are not saying lets improve younger players astronomically. What we are saying is, let the players improve more than they are doing currently, especially when they are in their teenage. if you calculate properly, that period is only around 3 to 4 seasons from 16 yrs to 19 yrs.
If this is not the case then, no one will develop youngsters, mangers will continue investing in well grown players, which means after some seasons, we will run short of players to replace the current ones. And watch this space, at that time everyone will demand the same thing that i am asking right now…
i don’t agree with sly. improving players is much more fun than buying a well established.
if the idea proposed by danilo goes ahead, then, we could go and buy some players aged 17/18 on the free transfers list and develop them to good players. That way teams on with less funds and on the lower end of the table could get more chances of upsetting a well established teams. otherwise i don’t see how the lower ranked teams can improve.
currently there are so many players on free transfers list who will never be given any contracts, who knows things may change. but this should not happen to players who are above 19. (teenage should be the maximum limit)…
For e.g. i bought this player Geoffrey Tesson on free transfer last season as a 17 years old . He has already improved 13 points in around 75 turns. at the same time his main skill has gone from 79 to 82 which is decent for a 18 year old lad. Now, if someone thinks buying players on free transfers is cheating (as i have read some posts) then, so be it. but then with my team income being lower, i only have one way to go forward. and it only natural that player improve more when they are teenager. now if anyone sees anything wrong with that, then it is because they want to have their monopoly in the league.
