Ricardo: the logic is similar to the one which calculates the estimated value, so if your player’s value increased a lot his wage will probably increase as well, but not so fast as it was happening. In the other hand, if you have offered much more than the player is worth, when you renew his contract you won’t be able to decrease the wage to its “real” value, you’d have to do offer an intermediate value otherwise the player wouldn’t accept.

I got your point Ricardo, it’s just that we designed the season and competitions in such a way that all countries would start their competitions in the same period, so that international competitions (even between continents in the future) could be played when all leagues were at the same “level”. You’ll see the benefits in the future :-)
What a friend suggested is that we clearly marked the mid-season somewhere if we add that stamina boost I mentioned. Let’s see.
This anti-cheat message is displayed when you’re buying a player from a team whose manager has. at least once. used the same computer or same network as you. If that’s not the case please let us know so we can investigate the problem.

Would you mind european seasons starting in january or february? :-)
One more issue about this…european seasons start around august while some south american seasons start in february and we want all countries to start in the same period so it would not reflect real life season for some of them.
It is a possiblity (and thanks for the code). For now we’re planning to display the total turns in the season (144) somewhere in the screens so you’re able to identify how close to the season end you are. Anyway, we won’t have winter “holiday” and our summer holiday is not that long on some countries and leagues, that’s why maybe we give players extra stamina in the middle and in the beginning of each season in order to pretend there were such holiday times.
That’s how it is supposed to be Ricardo, when a team is not able to complete the squad the result is 1-0 to the other team. This becomes a problem only on national cup when either team win a match 1-0 and in the second leg the losing team was not able to complete the squad because in that case no penalty shootout can take place.

Exactly nsg1974, in your report the visitor team wasn’t able to line-up 11 players. When we have a minimum number of players a team can have this situation won’t be so common.
Correction: this match messed up the national cup in England, I’ll be able to qualify you instead of Arsenal.
Thanks Ricardo. Well, that’s is something we haven’t predicted. In my opinion your team should be the one to pass no matter the score. We’ll have to work on that so this kind of situation doesn’t happen in the future. Sorry mate :-(

We had a bug that prevented new players from being generated when you hired more than one youth at once (something like that). That should be fixed by now, but I’ll generated your missing youths manually.
About Beta 1 the cup final has only one match now, in neutral ground, so that is correct. Beta 2 is messed up, I’ll fix it manually.
3 sounds ok to me but I just want to let everybody know that international competitions and national cups won’t be played simultaneously. While the national cups happen early in the season the international cups will start in the middle of the season.
Done. Now you have a “Cards” tab in the players screen displaying the card status for each player on each competition. Notice that the card status for the next match is still displayed along with the player’s name. Maybe it’s too much, maybe not. Let me know what do you guys think.

Team history is being improved as I type. Me and Danilo have just discussed league names and we’ve decided to keep it as it is for now. Not because it is difficult to implement, but because we have other priorities. I’ll open an enhancement request on our system so we don’t forget to do that in the future.
National Cup final played on one match, 100.000 seats stadium, neutral ground. If the match ends in a tie penalty shootout decides the champion.
I think I know what happened, it is related to a temporary fix to the extra youths problem we had. Will probably fix it today.
I agree, we’ll have something like
“Ends Division 2 in position 1. Promoted to Division 1”
“Ends Division 1 in position 16.”
“Ends Division 1 in position 18. Relegated to Division 2”

Well, we are already thinking about next gameworlds. Both Beta 1 and Beta 2 will be deleted soon, probably at the end of the season for one of them, unless I can’t get Champions League and Libertors Cup working until there. Me and Danilo will discuss the details of the 2 new dimensions, but my ideia is to have one 6-ticker and one 3-ticker with the same countries on both, so one can choose the dimension that best fits his/her routine (or play on both like I’m gonna do). About new countries we may add Argentina, Germany, France and Portugal.
No ideia about stadium sizes. I don’t think we’ll have stadium expansion implemented from the beginning, but let’s see. Countries may start all the same or with slight differences between then, not the significant difference we currently have between Brazil and England. Dynamic country skill will also not be there from start, but will soon be implemented as we’ll have country rankings and international cups.
The hardest question to answer is whether or not those dimensions are going to be deleted. If I had to give an answer now it’d be yes, they will be deleted or reset, but that will take longer than this first time. Who knows, we may figure out a good way of add countries, competitions and significant improvements to an existing dimension without having to reset it. But reset will be a good thing if the dimensions become too unbalanced.

When we have a more complex tactics screen our job will become easier in the match engine and the managers ability to configure a good strategy will have more influence in the match results.
