Berhan you should try to lower the prices as much as the board let you, I hope CPU teams will still buy old players if they are almost for free. You would have the space on the team and you wouldn’t need to lose money firing the players.

About this new CPU teams we have to wait and see as Gabriel said but for now it seems they went from buying everything to nothing…

Yes you do, only when the other manager performance reaches 0% you will replace him

Listed Xisto Assunção for the lowest price the board would let me, he’s not improving anymore but still a very reasonable striker with a 91 average the most important skills…

As for the others the prices wont change much more as from what I been seen they are the best deals you can find in the market, people who dealt with me know that too so if great international young superstars are not bought for 70M they wont leave :D

Two superstars leaving Manchester, check the team and see one of the best keepers in the game listed for 70M, one of the best strikers in the game for 70M and a nice full skilled midfielder for the best offer :D

You are talking about superstars ghuardian, those will always be sold no matter their age, in the game there are a lot of examples, check Tigre’s history :D

The kind of players Sly is talking about are the ones we usually want to get rid off when we start a new team, old average players that most CPU teams already have or would have just with a few player improving strategy… Also in real life most old players leave their teams by no money, thats the equivalent to being in the free transfer market and hired for some other team…

Gabriel your idea makes perfect sense, I think in real life qualification matches also don’t give points, the actual competition only starts with the group phase…

Nuno Paiva still for sale, wont improve more but still a 96 main skill average player (94*0,6+99*0,4) with 99 control… Tell me where do you find a keeper like this with 24 y.o. for sale :D

They have a point, European teams have now more chances of making international points as we have more matches to play and it is easier for to have more teams in the group phase (actually playing the competition). Yet, any changes to be made have to be carefully considered because it could turn the balance again for Brazil and Argentina, remember they now have 13 teams each playing international cups…

Player value already has many variables and it is a much more complex formula than it was when the game started, yet it can’t determine exactly how much the player is worth and it will never do, its impossible to predict all the factors a manager consider when buying a player, trying to achieve that is a waste of time IMO. In this case the player is valued because he has great secondary skills and because his age is still low, age is important as the player could still be improving and that would make him much more valuable, yet this player is not improving so he’s worth not even close his value, there could be a formula to take in consideration a player be improving but even with that player’s value wouldn’t be completely accurate so IMO it is not worth-it to even think about it…

Anyway this is not the topic for this guys :P Neither for the Berhan/Davison thing, for that there is no topic also, jut ignore him BK…

I dont think it is a waste of time Berhan, in this case I dont think there was any favouring but there’s no harm for people to talk about it, at least this way the doubt wont be left. I think when people suspect of something should report it to and Admin or GM or simply post it in the forum as heraser did, i know you have a diferent opinion about this but I would also fell bad and not enjoying the game if I suspected my oponents to be using fake accounts to win matches with reserve team…

I agree with everything Gabriel wrote in the topic and in this kind of forums some censorship is always needed. I just hope you guys wont be cutting every word that could or may or would lead to another discussion…

In this topic

I understand I didn’t need mention what I mentioned in the post but still I should not be censored because what I say may be taken bad by a person who has no notion of basic educated conversation. My understanding is that you guys removed what I wrote not because it was offensive but because it could (depending on how much unstable he was at the moment) lead to offensive comets by the other person, that IMO is not good use of censorship.

Berhan said: “Now, I bet it is not too difficult to implement this in the game engine, so when a country is especially successful in their international games, it could trigger some creation of potential star players say 5 seasons later.”

This already happens, it just considering club performance, not the national team, and IMO it should stay that way, national team competitions are not that developed yet and it would be unfair to distribute the youth quality having the performance of just one team, it could lead even to abuse, imagine someone taking over a national team and intentionally losing so the country would produce worse youths (and another one, probably where that manager has his team would have better youths)

The way it is right now is fair and consistent, for a country to raise in the ranking (and have better chances of great youths) the teams in this country must perform well and consistently well in the international competitions. France has the most competitive league and season after season their teams made great collective performances in europe, they deserve better youths and it would be unfair if they hadn’t because France national team doesn’t perform as good as they do…

Country level of youths also happens in real life, is not by accident most of the top players come from a small group of countries like Brazil, Argentina, Spain, England or France… It is the result of a long history with the sport and investment in youth improvement.

In the game the way we have to know where is the best investment its the team performance in international competitions, I think the randomness of the game already makes it possible for lower ranked countries to have great players, Argentina have the top players in the game and never reached the 2nd place of the ranking… They probably in average have not as good players as France but that’s how it is suppose to be, if not there would be no point for the country competition we see around here :D

@Berhan
I also gave many teams some easy points :D My team played almost every match possible, so some of them I had to use B and C squad :D The fight was good thou, this season it will be even harder I think, besides you and me there’s some new contesters as Cardiff and Fulham with full renewed teams now finishing their improvement, my time is coming to an end :)

About the European competitions I think we should make it as real life alike as possible so only one group stage, besides, the number of matches for 2 group stages would be enormous. Agree with the 3rd CL group position going to Europa league.

About the reset it should be preceded by a greater advertising to the game, a fresh start would be good for new comers but we must tell them to come, right now the number of managers we have if we divide them for this number of countries there would be like only 4 or 5 human managed teams for country, not the best for game enjoyment. Telling the managers that left the game (if you still have their email) about the reset also could bring many of them back to the game…

Common people, you’ve got to create your team till 13 Sep 20:30 CET when the group stage begins, you can do it after that but will miss the first matchdays. If you already have a team please join the league, a little competition with RS managers to see if we are as good evaluating real players as we are in the game :D

Only Henry Medeiros joined, for now a 100% Benfica fans league :D

Again, if you make it that hard for cheaters it will also be hard for fair managers… Imagine the 3 moths thing is in place and for example I had decided to go to Hertha when Philliph was fired. As it is said the team has 1Billion in the bank. I would not wait 3 moths to be able to buy who ever I want to make a team… This is an extreme example but you can see the same for smaller teams, if I am a cheater and I start a team from nothing I would have my fake accounts providing all the good youths out there and just buy them for a little less the game values them, enabling transfers is also cheating, I cant see how you can make the board differences what is cheating and what is a good manager reconstructing all the team…

That objective options is a good idea but I cant see how it will stop cheaters without harming the others, when I leave MU I’ll start some other team and probably all players from that team will leave and all new ones will come, that is something it doesn’t happen in real life but here in the game is quite comon and I think it should continue as otherwise it would be to much painful for new managers to start a team… We can’t have that with the board restrictions you talk about…

@Davinson
Banning managers is not a good solution either, they will start over probably with good teams and make it harder for us to find them… Also with an extreme mesure like that we wont do nothing about managers we have a suspicion but not certain, it would allow small cheating to be done without harm…

I still back my suggestions (on the other topic) on cheaters treatment and re-education but in the end is up to the developers to decide and we have not heard from them yet :D

@Berhan
Having a board that blocks transfers higher than players value is again messing with the fair player’s game. I for once have no concern about money in the game so if I see a player like no other in the game I will buy him if I can, even if he’s listed for much more than his value… Also we have seen cheaters that don’t need to go that much up player’s value, just the fact that they can sell any player they want at any time gives them a great advantage. Players performing bad when you buy many payers for season would be terrible for new managers starting in small teams… Restrictions will always be harmful not only for cheaters, I think we need to be careful there…

IMO there are two choices we really have and I explained them in the other topic… having a system where cheaters are punished and kept under vigilance or try to ban them as we can find them…

I understand what you are saying Berhan, but I think most people dont think like that, I know I don’t… I would never be ok if after all the hard work i put to form a fighting team some other guy with a team of players bought from his ghost accounts comes and beats me in any competition. I will accep really good if you win the EPL this season, I didn’t accept losing the CL for Marcos Tadeu as he would never even be in the CL if it wasn’t the cheating. For me, and IMO for the most people in the game cheaters are the most demotivating factor and I would not be playing if there was not a concern about them…

Well, I can’t tell you every thing I know but there are some skills every manager values. For example speed is very important for keepers, its very important for defenders too… drible and control are important for mids and strikers…

You should try and use diferent players in diferent positions, the match statistics also helps there… More than that I can’t tell you, is a part of the game and the way every manager sees it…

Maybe some don’t leave, guys like Felix, Rene, Morastica or Tadeu have a long history and titles won, I dont think they would like to start over instead of getting a chance to play fair and keep their accounts.

I agree with you that having to start over and having a low ranking and slower player improvement could be helpful to discourage cheaters but it would have repercussions on all the game that could be harmful, new real managers (not cheaters new accounts) would also have more difficult to improve players and we can’t make the game even more demotivating for them…

I think there are some options we can take before having to resort to that Charles, but I agree in some cases that would be the right solution… The manager reputation is a good thing, personally if I see a manager without 100% reputation I dont deal or even speak to him, any title he achieves means nothing to me. This is not the case for everyone and I know most of this cheaters don’t even care to have a bad reputation so more aggressive measures must be taken, if a manager caught cheating he would be fired, lose reputation and with it:

- could not sign for a team with a determined average skill level (would depend on manager’s reputation), this would prevent cheaters from getting on great teams (V. Guimarães case)

- could not make any transfer for a determine period of time (depending on manager’s reputation)

- Could not manage a national team for a determined period of time (depending …)

- lost of all titles won in a previous determined time period (depending…)

This and more could be done so this cheaters can be punished and eventually, after a long period without any suspicion they could have their reputation restored, I call it an educational punishment :D If we ban them they probably return with new accounts and unlike Dcaniva said it will be much more dificult to find them and ban them again, this way we know exactly where they are and what they are doing.

Charles transfer list is a great idea too, that would be much helpfull to find new cheaters, but as my suggestions all this is depended on how easily can be implemented in the game by Gabriel and Danilo, they more than anyone are tired of this cheaters crap…

You are right Dave, Felix and some other known guys have been cheating for a long time in the game. We figure that some time ago, the thing is we had to make a decision, ban their accounts and hope they quit cheating or quit the game, we risk they don’t quit and come back with new accounts starting all again, this time more careful and hard for us to detect. Or as we did, implement the reputation system so everyone could know they are cheaters, I agree we should have more penalties for low reputation managers (not manager big teams, national teams…).

I think the decision was right, at least this way we can keep an eye on them, multiple accounts have been abandoned, suspicious transfers stoped, and guess what, they started to perform bad lol

As you said I also can’t understand why this guys cheat at a free and under development game, is as they want the game to fail or something… Yet as it seems cheaters wont get out we must find the better and the smarter ways to deal with them, suggestions are welcome as Gabriel always says :D
