I’ve been negotiating with one of my youth’s for several turns and just received a message saying he had rejected it again. I went into the negotiations screen, where the player was flashing indicating he was awaiting a new offer. I submitted a revised offer – which was higher than my previous offer but lower than the player’s suggested wages, but got an error message:

“you already have a proposal for this player”

and it didn’t submit my new offer. I tried it several times with the same result. I have since waited for the game to tick and the same is still happening.

You’re right, the player is not necessarily replaced by one from the same position. We already have that as an enhancement. About the yellow cards, you’ll always see the status for the following match, but I agree we need to provide a way for you to check the card status for specific competitions. I miss that too :-)

Hello,

i don’t know if this issue has already been adressed.. (didn’t found it in bugs.. didn’t read all the threads)

when a player is unable to play a game, in my case it was a card, don’t know if injury also works the same way, the system does not replace him with a similar one, instead it replaces him with the first field player. My case was my striker, not being able to play because of red card probably (i had a friendly game before so i didn’t know for sure) he was replace with a defender player… placed on the defense

So instead of playing with a 4 5 1 i played with a 5 5 0. lost 1-0.

One of the problems here is that the AI should replace the player with a similar one, at least to put him in the same position.

Question, the yellow cards are from the cup to the championship?

it would be nice to know what is the status of the player for the next game in the championship or cup. that way i could be able to plan in advance more games, instead of having to look everytime every tick especially if you play lots of friendlies like me.

The match simulation can improve, that’s for sure, but the results can be surprising… I lost the count of how many matches I saw in real life that the team who were attacking all the time couldn’t score and with a single counter attack, the other team scores… What I’m trying to say is, yes, the simulation can improve, but maybe, if you change a bit your tactics you can be more sucessfully…

Like, you’re having to many shots… maybe you’re asking them to shoot from high distance and that will make the goal harder to score… Don’t know…

Yes, just wanted to be sure simulator is number 1 thing. I feel it is very important. Some very weird results coming, hehehehehe.
56 shots not scoring is really hard to believe, I guess if I had myself the chance to take 20 shots in a match I would score at least once, goalkeeper is not superman.
I cannot afford to buy players with high shooting, but it should not stop me scoring if I totally control the match. It costed me, taking in count only the matchs I pasted here, 10 points. Imagine real life football. I played against very bad teams there, they don´t have good defense nor good goalier. Even if my strikers are not that good, they would not miss goals from the penalty box, don´t you think?
Of course Van Nilsterooy is able to score “harder” goals than my compatriot Jan Koller, but still Koller can score once out of these many chances provided. Players missing 56 shots would not be even professional footballers…

I have the feeling that if we have used statistics to generate the results instead of simulating the match most of the users would be happier. We chose the hardest path (simulate the match) so we can have a match replay feature in the future and have a better control of how different formations and player skills affect the results. The bad thing is that it takes much longer to have realistic results, even though we’re already getting some. Here’s what could have happened on those matches:

Match against Salamanca: their shots may have come from good strikers, so even shooting less they were more effective

Alavés, Eibar, Barcelona, Tenerife, Ejudo: Again, players with low shooting may be taking most of the shots

Xerez and Albacete: The keeper rating was high because he defended lots of shots, we’ll give a higher penalty when lots of goals are conceded

We are aware that the match simulation is critical for the game success and we’ll continuously improve it. Sometimes it’s just hard to find enough free time to do it faster as we have full time jobs and family that needs our attention. The game is free and we have no intention of going pay-to-play. Please be patient Radek and all other users that feel the same way and we promise you’ll have a great game. Being patient doesn’t mean you shouldn’t complain about what you think needs improvement :-)

There is a bug in my players history page, Ademar Amarante didn’t play an official match yet and he’s over there with 0 played but 1 DP?
The only thing that maybe has a relationship with this bug, could be that I recently renewed his contract… Who knows hhehehe

We’ll have a minimum number of ticks before the player is transfered, like 2 turns after accepting the first proposal. And of course, the highest bid will win, as already happens now :-)

mostly security problems and misc bug fixes (around rails). but i´ve also noticed a small performance improvement. maybe i am wrong on the last one :).

One of the problems involving Transfer List can be cheating… Like, I have 2 accounts, or a good friend, and we make a deal of buying/selling players… They could easily transfer list the player 1 minute before the tick is updating and make an offer, and they will have a deal… I was thinking about something to prevent it… I’m not sure if there’s already something to be implemented to avoid this situation, or a new rule to be studied…

I was thinking about, when a player is transfer listed, he should be on the transfer list at least 3 ticks ( 3 for an example ) before accepting a contract, and I also think, the highest bid should “win” the player… I think this is not such a great idea, maybe someone has a better one… But this is something that we should really look after in the future when there are more countries, to prevent cheating and smart asses…..

Encoding problem Patrick, probably Érick Vaz is the one who received the card at 24, but the ‘É’ character couldn’t be displayed. We’ll work on that.

Philipp is right, Blackburn Rovers didn’t have enough players to start the match. I’m not sure whether the score should be 1×0, 2×0 or 3×0, I guess it’s not the same all over the world, so we decided for 1×0. About the suspensions, yes, they should be deleted. I’ll remove them manually and see what happened.

guess it’s b/c you have just 12 players & 2 of them are suspended by red card. so with 10 players you arent able to start the match & the opposing team is declared winner with a 1×0...

but shouldn’t it be a 3×0 then ?!
and shouldn’t the suspension (of the booked players) be deleted after the first annuled match !?
