Hi Gabriel

When asking for a new coaching report, the old report is lost. I would love to be able to keep the last, perhaps five reports, to give a better estimate of the players potential.

Kind regards
Alexander

In the Finance screen you can now view your income and expenses by season by using the new “Seasons” tab. The “Periods” tab contains the previously existing view by 3-turns financial period. I’ve also included a help link in the finance panel to the corresponding manual page.

Players generated from now on will have more reasonable evolution profile combinations. For example, you won’t see players that improve faster as they get older improving until their 30s. This combination (and a few others) made some players less useful/valuable during their careers.

Should not be hard to do, we have it in our list already and I have just increased the priority. What is going to be harder but we’re going to do eventually is add some nice graphics to it.

It’s nice to be getting feedback around here again :-)

Hi guys

Perhaps a yearly (seasonally) income/expenses tab could be introduced under finances. It’s quite difficult to get an overview of the clubs finances and this would certainly be a great help. Could be implemented as current season as well as last 3-5 seasons for example.

Kind regards
Alexander

Completely agree and it’s already in my list of priorities. My plan is to not only reduce the frequency these players appear but also to only combine this profile with the ones that improve slower as they get older, this way there won’t be too many improvements left close to 30. Maybe I’ll focus on it next and put aside the statistics improvements I’ve been working on.

Hi, I’ve been noticing a lot of my players won’t reach full potential until their 30s. I realise in life this happens to some players but in this game it seems to be 1 in every 2 players. When really it should be 1 in 10 players, most reach potential by mid 20s.

Either that or my coach reports are incorrect.

I’m all for adding more statistics and visibility of existing stats, including something like player’s hall of fame, club records, etc. I’ll think about how we can do what you’re suggesting, I like the idea :-)

Hello y’all

I think it would be a nice feature to have a global table for all players in the dimension with overall average rating, goals and assists for exemple. In wich we could check our players average vs others in the world, or even if they could reach the top. Something like our squad statistics page, but a global one. Ok, it would be very large, but maybe since the idea is seeing the best players, filter it with average rating above lets say 7.75, goals average above .5 or so :)
Bye.

You’re definitely not the first one to point out that playing at home seems to be giving a big advantage. I think it’s related to how the home advantage calculation changed in the last year or so.

Before the introduction of the pressure handling trait to the players it was the stadium level that determined the penalty applied to the visitor team and that penalty ranged from 0 to 3. It is also important to point out that only stadium level 10 caused the older players to be penalised, otherwise they played same as home. That last part probably played an important role as just a small number teams had stadium at level 10, definitely most CPU teams (if not all) didn’t have stadium at that level.

With the introduction of pressure handling, all existing players were assigned a value of Poor to this trait, meaning they all get the 3 points penalty in all skills when playing as visitors. As new players were generated some of them got the reasonable (-2) and good (-1) values for pressure handling so I’m expecting that, as these players improve and become first team ready, we’ll soon have a mix of penalties applied when playing as a visitor, improving the balance when compared to everyone getting -3. Of course when I say soon it will be sooner in FastTicker than in MediumTicker.

Does it make sense? Hopefully my analysis is correct, otherwise we can tackle this issue some other way if necessary.

The game seems to have evolved into home results being fairly predictable, with the odd unexpected result. While away matches even against what should be fairly easy opposition can prove to be more difficult than they should be.

In the fast ticker I played at home v Reading who at that point had not lost a game (and have won the title for many years in a row – FAST TICKER). I win 1-0 which was a bit of a surprise, but not a crazy result. I then play Swansea away a CPU team next game with the exact same team and lose 5-0. This result is not an impossibility, nothing is in football, it just seems a little – random – possibly not the right word, but possibly strange, unexpected, or a word to that effect.

Is it just me that has this opinion?

Match replays are now generated for CPU matches if the initial line up has at least one player loaned from a human-managed team. In case of national squads the replay will be generated if at least one of the players in the initial line up is from a human managed team. This will allow you to watch your players in action even when they’re away on loan or playing for their national squads.

Following up on the previous announcement I’ve now added breadcrumbs to all pages I could find that was missing them. If you do find yourself in a page where you think there should be a link back to some other page please don’t hesitate to contact me in-game or post a message here in the forums about it.

Off topic, a history lesson: Haarlem (double a) is a city in The Netherlands, close to Amsterdam.
New York used to be Dutch (then named New Amsterdam). The district Harlem is named after the city Haarlem.
The English took New Amsterdam from us, while we took Suriname from them. Not really an equal trade…

Agree, Harlem are paying some massive wages! Only issue is once they go to sell that player or renew contract, he will not be able To be sold or won’t renew cause they can’t afford his wages.

I also find it a strange strategie. Why are you buying players if you immediately loan them out.
In real life I don’t think Ronaldo or Messi would be happy if they were loaned to a small team. These players are important for the team according to their wages. So if they are not needed and loaned out their moral should collapse.

The wage cap is based on your current expenses (players and investments) and the player’s worth. My guess would be the team getting these players has more money and/or less expenses than you, but you can message me in-game if you want me to double check everything is alright in the game logic.

In regards to CPU teams loaning players with such high wages I have a task in our list to look into that. They should not put themselves in financial danger to pay such wages.

I cant ever offer anyehere near wages like this and a small dutch club repeatedly wins players in transfer wars with 200k+ salary. Then loans to small second division teams who pay 100% wage. Whats up here?

Let me pay guys like that, i have plenty of money but never can offer what erdevidse does? Horse hockey i say.

Fabio’s reply is correct, player is replaced precisely at 35 minutes, assuming the rule’s conditions are met or if there are no conditions to the rule.

@Dr. Gullit we’re aware the new system needs improvements and that depending on player profile he may not achieve his best before it’s too late, which is definitely not fair and unrealistic.

I do not believe anymore in benefits playing official matches. The friendlies have been killed long time ago. It depends on a piece of unknown rules that are defined within the player’s profile. And that in general defines that the players decrease their abilities before coming close to the numbers in the coach reports.

Yeah I use my iPhone and you have to click and select a position. No more drag and drop.

If you are using a phone I believe you cannot drag and drop anymore. You have to click on the player and then select his replacement

Yes, 35 minutes

I think the substitution is made at exactly the minute you set for, that is, the substitution is made during the match (no need for a deadball). If the player that is coming out has the ball, he will be replaced during the play!
