You know you can see formations in the match replay right? I’ve always used him as a mid, M+1 as Dhimitri said…

Just took over, 260k in the bank, a bankruptcy is imminent for sure.

Interesting to see what will happen, I will not lower coaching levels to free cash to see how will the game handle lack of funds..

You really just need to sell one player :D And that John Scrutton is the one, you will lost one great promising player but you’ll have the money to restart the team…

nope, cpu teams are smart, they do not buy sheep as most human managers would.

I never rely on buy low and sell high stupid reasoning of most people anyway. No big deal.
I’ll wait for 1-2 season until most of the dead wood are either retired or up for contract renewal, which I will promptly refuse.

Buy old 33+ cheap players to get the play working, do maximum of 1-2 own products per every 4-5 seasons, sell for lots of money to other human managers. There is your recipe.

You have been away to long Parag :P I think Gueugnon manager used his young team so they can improve, the season is ending and he can’t achive anything this season so at least he improves his younger players, you should be doing the same, an european spot is impossible so nothing more to fight for…

WTF
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/1630602

i always wanted my team to win… but i don’t think my team is so good that it can thrash someone 11-0
Toulouse -—————- Gueugnon
4-4-2 formation 4-3-3
68% possession 32%
61 shots 0
47 shots on target 0
87% accurrate passes 86%
79% effective tackles 9%
7 corners 0
4 offsides 2
1 fouls 7

i hope we could investigate this result…

The losing team has a goalkeeper with 100 keeping skill on the bench, but he is not playing. Instead a keeper with 80 skills is playing…

Something very fishy is going on inside…

@Dimitri and Antonin
No ofense but you guys are dead wrong, I’ll gladly discuss this with you but for me a competitive league must have almost all teams human managed, 6-7 top teams that can fight for the title and still make a good contribution for their country in the international leagues. Holland or Turkey have none of this, England and Spain are becoming more and more like that, France has been there for many seasons but I think will not keep this way without the managers that gone to Spain.

@Dhimiter, Charles and Sly
You probably right but I hope some good manager sees this as a challenge to prove you wrong :D We already created a great pressure on him and he’s not even in the team yet lol It isn’t a job for anyone…

One of the best defensive midfielder in the game listed for 7M… One of the most important factors of my success in MU and still can be for another team at least this and another season:

http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/148537

Nuno Paiva still listed for 70M, the time for this deal is ending, I doubt the next manager will ask the same. I tend to let players go cheap :D

Donator

AZ sells his top keeper (98 keeping) for only 1M. Well, he’s 36, so he might retire next season, or maybe the season after, that’s why you can get him for a cheap price.

I agree with filipe, i did not join spain to dominate the entire world… whats the point of a good challenge if everyone comes to spain lol!
i wanted to start fresh, was with auxerre for 35 seasons… it was time…

filipe, one thing i’ve come to the conclusion, the incoming manager will probably destroy your team :P

i’ve tried selling players over 50% cheaper that would be ok in lower leagues, in real life. They are not going … :) Rich clubs will be able to adapt but those that scrape along taking on youth, to sell on will not. Small squad clubs will also survive but there will be less scope to develop players or take on players that may have potential. I can understand why things change but it’s still not true to life and reduces the way the game can be played. Less enjoyable in my eyes but i wouldnt expect a change back because i’m no long enjoying the game. :)

Thanks for the advice though. I prefer a break so will let the funds go to 0 :)
