dude, this has been discussed over and over by managers (also myself) that what he did was just impossible. The creators assured us he only knew what we all knew. So…..we have to “believe” them. I e-mailed him and asked him (even confronted him) with mails about it. He always managed to avoid my direct crucial questions or he even didn’t answer……

The problem for now is “solved”. Since he quit rubysoccer :)

Unless PSV relegates :)
But it should be possible to get your team to 88 average, though you miss some veterans for away games.

And he lost a couple points, he used to have all 100 stats.

I still don’t understand the Tigre phenomenon. Did anyone got to ask if he had a special method or not?

I hope to get promotion this season and qualify for an international competition in the next. First goal seems to be easier, even the board expects that. Not sure about the second, too many strong teams out there, even though most are not currently managed.

When I joined Colombia I barely avoided relegation but then won two league titles in a row. Not a big deal given the weakness of the league there. My greatest accomplishment was the 4 points scored in Libertadores group stage, beating São Caetano in the first match and holding Boca Juniors to a 2-2 draw in the second.

See you next season, Dimitri :-)

Yes, wrong topic, but I’ll answer anyway :-)

Felipe Santos told me he had a second account (Nuno Lopes) so I blocked the second account but let him keep Marseille instead of Gama.

Cheers.

A lot of Good young players for sale at Gueugnon, willing to negociate. Take a look and let me know how much are you willing to pay for a player you are interested in, if its less than the list price I am willing to go lower, need some cash and the only way to do it is to sell good players.

Just one correction, before the board removes the players they will lower the coaching level so only when it reaches 0 and you still have money problems they will remove a player and give you money.

Don’t think it is worth it, and defenatly not worth the time to do that, lots of good players in free transfers and some others listed almost for free so no need for money really, it would be faster with money, but it is still possible, Newcastle account is now 3M :D

These types of players were supposed to have been eliminated many many many seasons ago.
The game devs actually said these types of players wouldn’t exists anymore as some teams were just stacked with them.
A few seasons later, the cousin of one of the devs cousins (or something like that) produced about 4-5 of this type of player. (Most from his academy, 1 from another french team)
Some have retired by now, never to be seen from again and some, like Alberto Phillippe, have a few more seasons left before retiring.
The way the game is setup now, players will usually get to 90-91-92 average. we shouldn’t be seeing too many players above those averages anymore.

can any game masters confirm this?

Tigre has some magic producing players like that, no one knows truly why, I guess..

so a strategy would be:
1. get team to 30 players
2. lower the coaching, freeing money
3. buy expensive players cheaply

:)

Sounds really bad if that is the case, ie a player disappearing and you get some money for him. I guess it’s a quick solution though.

And you are right, club does manage to avoid bankruptcy at the moment.

Brandon Brasseur (turned 21 this season)
A very good young gun from Toulouse Youth Academy.
he has had a very steady youth career on the whole, and still has pretty much skills left to improve. With my reckoning it could be around 60-70 points left. (pretty much because he left the academy very early)

True, a great job there Dimiter, but as I said to you the game hasn’t enough managers to have more competitive leagues… And without human managers no matter how good the teams are, CPU managers are no match for the teams playing international competitions… They can make it to 6th in the ranking maybe as Portugal is going to the same desertification Holland is, but to compete against teams from almost full human leagues like France, Spain or England you need human managers, they can even make something in Europa Legue but only counts half the points CL does, in CL the competition is too much for CPU teams to handle.

Indeed, now the key is for some humans to take on those teams. The Dutch league is full of above average teams, with each of them having a solid base of players to compete or to use them to improve the teams further.

Come on, people, Holland needs to be added to the list of great European countries out there.

PS: Good job, Dimitri. :)

Welcome mate,

You should have allowed Cardiff to the final, for the good of your new country, but I’ll bury the hatchet on that one lol ;-)

I guess England has attracted in all the quality it needs to compete with Spain. This is all becoming very, very interesting for the seasons to come. I expect France to keep its competitiveness, Hertha to rise back from its ashes, and last, but not least, the Dutch League has solid potential to become an important factor in Europe, if only 5-6 managers take up on those healthy CPU teams.

As some of you know, I tried an experiment in the Dutch league where I hopped from club to club, pimping the club with young players in the mean time. The result of this experiment is that the Dutch league is very strong, and a difficult one for human managers. I’ll give some examples of the strength of the league. I’ll use the average stats: while that doesn’t say anything, it does give a good indication.

One of the team I pimped is Den Bosch. The average of the first team is 88. This team finished last in the Eredivisie… we have a manager at risk here, and he made mistakes, but still.

My team (PSV) is the highest human managed team, only at the 12th place. After two championships in a row the league turned out too tough for me this season. It won’t be easier in the coming seasons.

Now down to the second league, called the Eerste Divisie. Here we see at the eight place Emmen, which is the new team of Gabriel Cesario. A good choice, a young team of 87.3 average.

The other human managed team is De Graafschap. After rebuilding the team the manager is waiting a few seasons already for the results to get better, but his 82.3 average only gave a 19th place. And while his team is improving (in average stats), so are the other teams…

So the current state of affairs is that the computer managed teams are beating the humans. This might happen next season also. Or will Gabriel manage to become champion?
