Exatamente andré, como o adversário fez 4 gols na sua casa e vc fez 2 gols na casa dele foi ele quem se classificou :)
Abraço.
That would be an extra level of detail, but yeah, we could do that :)
Don’t worry, I’m preparing an official poll system so everybody will see the poll when it’s ready.
Looks like Alban had an epiphany :)
That sounds interesting, I may add that to the poll we’ll make soon regarding world cup for clubs.
Soon we’ll have a poll getting more opinions on that. I didn’t give up the idea ;)
This message is displayed whenever the transfer price you’re offering is higher the amount of money available, which is the total amount of money you have minus the transfer price of any open proposals you have.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
There are extra points for passing to the next phases, Filipe. The amount of points for reaching the group stage is 3 times greater than the amount for reaching the following phases, and this is equivalent to the amount of points received after a tied match.
Welcome, Mauras!
Me and Danilo used to play Soccersim when it was already called ManagerSim, and we loved it. We started to the develop this game before the end of MS but it was only when that happened that we took it seriously. Even though there are several similarities we wrote this from scratch. Peter Strand only gave us his his European data like player names and surnames lists, leagues and cup names.
Regarding your comment about the world size, we have few countries just because we’re still growing and don’t have enough users to populate a bigger world. It is better when most teams are controlled by human managers. More countries should be added soon anyway, it will certainly improve the game experience.
The name RubySoccer is inspired in the language we use to develop the game, which is called Ruby. Now if you ask me why soccer instead of football…well, I guess we talk too much with people from U.S. :P
Yes, the greater the distance of the receiving player, higher the chance to miss the pass.
There was an error in the passing interception logic some time ago. After that was fixed the passing accuracy increased a lot. I agree the number is too high, the players should miss passes more frequently.
My friend, the database, told me the best player has a sum of 656…unfortunately his main skill is the worse attribute! Would you guys tell me who he is? I’ll give you a clue, he lives in Spain, FastTicker ;)
Don’t worry Sly, I was thinking only about drastic changes, but I’m not even sure if that will be the case.
It’s not exaclty a bug, but a bad penalty kick probability calculation algorithm :)
Anyway, we have plans to improve that, it’s too unrealistic.
Well, we could do something like that…yes, the same calculation are used for the national cups, that means whenenver a weaker team beats a stronger team in an elimination round, or unexpectedly qualify in its group in a cup we’d need to recalculate the expectations.
For now, it’s a random observation :)
Yes, there is an explanation. All the expectations are calculated with the assumptions that the best team will always beat the weakest teams. As Groningen qualified to the group stage and was in your group you became the second best team in your group instead of the third, so your new expectation would be to end in second in your group, that’s why you lost so much board performance.
If you take Flamengo (my previous team) in consideration, I finished Libertadores group phase in second place last season, and lost more than 10 points (around 18 I guess, but I don’t remember the exact number). The reason for that is my team was considered much better than the other 3 teams in my group. The bigger the difference between your team and your opponents, more points are earned / lost if you finish above / below your expected position. The same happens when you’re knocked out in an elimination round, the bigger the difference between the teams, more points are lost. I bet Atletico Madrid lost many points after the elimination against Groningen in the qualifying round.
Hope this was clear enough. If you still have questions don’t hesitate to ask :)
You’re welcome! :)
I did that a few times a while back. I guess we should do that at least for the most important improvements.
Groningen is FastTicker’s season surprise. It’s the first dutch team to make it to the group stage and it is already qualified for the quarter-finals. Duoc must have found a great strategy to get the best from his squad.
Thanks for your words Luc, hope you can find some time in your busy life to stay around. I understand how hard it is…I have a team to manage AND a game to the develop on my free time :D
Cheers!
Not all shots make the keeper tired, only those that give him a hard time. It is possible that you give 30+ shots in a match but just a few make the keeper tired, then you won 2-0, in the following match you can give 30+ awesome shots and a similar keeper would become tired and conceive 7 goals.
Don’t leave us, Luc. ;)
Clearly the keeper match stamina needs some adjustment, Niort’s keeper should have conceived more goals with that number of shots. I’ll take care of that.
Alright, alright…I raised the enhancement priority to critical so that we can pay attention to it soon…better now? :)
Sure, we have that planned. Should be simple enough to add it.
Thanks for your contributions, Dhimitri. We can see the real effects on MediumTicker already. Let’s wait for FastTicker international competitions so we can evaluate it on both dimensions. After that we can make an official poll and decide what is the best solution.
Of course we can keep this discussion going in the meanwhile :)
New individual tactics: corner tactics.
With this new enhancement you can choose which players should move forward or hold position for a corner kick, and move back or hold position for an opponent corner kick. The option “play position” represents the current behaviour, that is, depending on the player positon he is more or less likely to move forward or back on corners (defenders are more likely to move back on opponent corners and attackers more likely to move forward on offensive corners).
IMPORTANT: these changes won’t affect the match simulation for the next 24 hours so that more people have the chance to configure the tactics.
Supposing all teams start on group stage:
Hertha wins CL, by winning all games. pts = 175
For UEFA:
Team A winner (all wins) pts = 87.5
Team B runner up (all wins and 1 loss) pts = 81.25
Team C semifinals (all wins and 1 loss) pts = 71.875
Just a reminder, the country score is the average score of all its teams score (both from CL and UEFA Cup).
Filipe is right, don’t forget the National teams! :D
The different way I like most is replacing the existing international cups by a World Cup with 32 clubs from all over the world :)
I agree…took a note so we can improve that ;)
@Sly: I love the idea of national teams. Maybe I can anticipate that a little bit ;)
@Philipp: initially I didn’t like this idea of national cups finishing later and international cups starting earlier, but I’m starting to think it will be good for the game, teams will have to worry much more about stamina, as you said…right, Alban? :D
