Yes Dimitri, of course.

However, if you just paid 30 million for a player and he develops awful traits, then you are going to feel ripped off.

Hello,

in the formation screen, when I change players, all of the settings are not retained. For example, the “Team has the ball” in Player Positioning screen resets itself back to Play Position.

Should it retain the setting that I had given the player in that position previously? The other settings on that screen, and in Player Tactics, seem to be retained.

Ta.

I just want to hug my goalkeeper.
The fact that he let through 51 goals shows just how much work he had to do, how bad our defence was, and how skilled he is in order to be the keeper for the Squad of the Season.
Thankyou from the entire Liverpool family.

Hi,

just wondering how often players increase in class? Is kinda hard to tell if any of mine have. Also, is there restrictions on how many players a team can have at each class (cant remember if that limitation is still there).

Thanks

Definitely need to take injuries into account though.

That’s fantastic! One of my best defenders is asthmatic. Been 20 ticks and his stamina is still only 60.

I had to play him in 1 match in that time, and he played badly, so I just want him to recover. And maybe train for marathons, cause he is so out of shape.

Thank you. I dont know, but i assume training improves players irl, but that practise matches would improve too.
Though i dont want to go back to organising friendlies for every spare tick – was so annoying.
Am not sure on the answer.
Spevialist coaches can be employed for players under age 24? The coaches wages based on % of club income so its fsir to little clubs?

Ahh yes, i had forgotten about the old days where it was a struggle to find friendlies gor every tick, and then deal with player injuries.

Now the M$%^#$&@(!g C^*t has rejected my request for a friendly to him.

In the real world I am sure there are lawyers involved, contracts signed up, friendlies agreed to beforehand. Seems like the game mechanic could be tweaked.

so, the benefit we get from friendlies is?
- some money if it is a home match
- practise some formations and tactics

Can you change the friendly request system so that when an invitation is sent, it generates a home and away match please.

I’m sick of these managers that time their cancellation of my home friendly.

Hi,

For players to improve, in the previous post linked below, you clarified that a player must play 35 minutes.

http://rubysoccer.com/forums/1/topics/3019#posts-18791

However, in this post, you said a player will improve if he is subbed in at 65 minutes or before. That is only 25 minutes in a 90 minute game.

Thanks,

That is cool mate!

My guy’s skills have started decreasing. Don’t think he can increase skills??

I played him in over 10 games, so it seems like a lost cause. I should have played other younger players instead.

I like that idea, very good.

I remember though, that a player must play 35 minutes to receive all the benefits from playing the game. Not sure I’ve been up 2 goals at the 75 minute mark in many games.

He’s 89 passing, but rated D

So I cant sell him because hes a D.

I cant play him, cause he wont get better. Will just release him I guess.

Hi, so I’ve got this player who my Coaches report says

This player is unlikely to reach his full potential before his 30s

I got him at 30. Unfortunately, his main skill is now 11 points below his Evolution stage report.

Even more unfortunately, his skills are decreasing, he lost a point on his main skill.

http://rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/695905

So will you fix the coaches reports to say “this player cant reach his full potential ever, so your scout report was wrong, and your other coach report was wrong, waste of time to deal with this horrible player”

How do big clubs give younger players playing time? Loan them out? What do they do for back up goal keepers? There must be lower leagues they can send them to, related clubs they have deals with. Can we do that?

Hi,
I got some young players who were worth a bit. Unfortunately, the scout report said they were horrible.
So i waited 72 turns as no team wanted to loan them from me.
How do i sell them?
I got a couple guys woth 3.5 mil, selling for 2 mil, but no team has put in an offer.
Any advice? When did selling players change?
Regards,

I dont want to spend 20 million on a player who then develops a shit negative trait and/or a positive trait that isnt that good.

It just ruins the player.
It just ruins my money.
It just ruins my team.

Hi,
are the heat maps back to front?

My attackers are all spending their time at the end where the GK is shown.
My defenders are all spending their time at the other end, opposite to where the GK is shown.

Plays better when playing on second half only

Why is that considered a positive trait? That is just negative, saw it on a goalkeeper, useless.

The negative feeling you can get is for having players that did not get a positive trait.

I just spent a billion dollars on a fantastic player, only to find that my scouts are not worth @$%! and that he has a negative trait.

Some traits are obvious, like stamina, only plays better in the second half, plays poorly in international cups. Any scout, manager, fan would be able to see this in a player before they spend all of their clubs money on him.

Come on now.

Its such a horrible feeling to see my great players develop a negative trait.

Why do we have to have negative traits at all? Why cant we just have players and some develop positive traits.

Oh, you wrong 20 to 55 million. Ok, never had that kinda cash. Cant spend that much for a 30 year old player with like 5 seasons left. How much would they want in wages too?
