The value is based on all the players in the game, your player might be getting better by say like 3 points but maybe there are 100 other players that gain 5 points. When that happens the other players are better so your player value get lowered.
I’m working with FF 5.0 (mac version) and there is not problem here.
As far as i know it’s kinda random, at the age of 35+ you have a chance that a player will retire.
Let’s gather some ideas! 1 topic shout away, i’ll go first:
Currently working with the wiki page is old, out of date en unorganised to where the game is at the moment. There is a need and demand for a decent help funtion, especially to new managers which we defitnally need in the game.
Creating a new part on the website, like the forum, where managers can keep track of develpment, the needed adjustments and most importent the basic of the game.
Up to date
A way to keep the help function up to date i suggest the following;
- a way that ppl can send in suggestions/ corrections and new content
- some moderators who keep track of the send in information and post them if needed on the help page
Menu
First of all, we don’t need a help funtion site where you need help to find anything. Within the help function a visitor shouldn’t have to click more then twice in the menu and only one inside that content text. With use of breadcrumbs visitors should have a good overview of where they are and how to get back.
How to start
- we need to get a flowchart, which menu buttons do we want, which submenu buttons and what do you want to tell the visitors
- on the last point, the content, we should make a simple rule on what we will put out in public and which we don’t put out. We surelly don’t want to put out all the information, there should still be a little self inventing (like what filipementioned on the forum, something he thinks he founded out and works for him team :p)
- design
- content!!!
If anyone has any other ideas or modifications about my plan then please post them here so we have 1 general topic about this issue.

Getting a new player shouldn’t depend on the wage tbh, it should matter how much u pay for him. Just make the bid (the value) invisable and let the highest win?

Maybe play with the “Team has the ball” in the Individual Tactics?
There is also a bug in the mail, a player is refered with html code.
example: Noa Roussel skills have increased. Shows the a href code in the mail and doesn’t link to the player (which it does on the forum)
We only try to help you Davison. It doesn’t rly matter who is longer in the game, since the game can change in the meanwhile. Still i believe that Sunderland can’t be the only one with not having youth grown.
And if you use that kind of language, you can’t rly expect to get any future help with any problems from some managers.
Don’t u think the problem doesn’t lie in the game but with you? They do improve if you do it right, maybe read up on how to improve players?
You can have them full grown at young age yeah, but then it’s impossible to win anything (like a league, cl/el and cup). In RL i almost never see someone younger then 20 in the field, only when they are execptional like Snider, Messi and Rooney in his younger years.
Filipe, i don’t agree with you saying that there’s no managing in letting players play only in friendly games. If we refer to RL then a club has a fully backstage youth acedemy to train players till they are rdy for the main team. Normally they don’t come in the pictures till they are 19/20 and then they are of a lvl that i mentioned in the frist paragraph.
Also in the aspect of that we need alot more managers, if a new managers joins a lower team for the first time he can get free players of 17/18, then he needs to wait till they are 23/24 to have them fully improved. That is 6 seasons aka almost 6 months!!!! Do you rly think a new manager is waiting for that? Ofc it’s the hardest way to restore a team and build up from scratch, but still….almost 6 months is TO MUCH for an online game.

It’s not about winning some matches in 1 season, the team rating is more then that. And there is no need to start shouting tbh.
Like Gabriel said: “This base value is based on your team performance, in other words, the team score in the teams ranking.” Since your team is 85 in ranking you get lower sponsor money. So it is working as intended.
Shrinking doesn’t give u money back irl, it only costs money to hire ppl to do the job. If you had a stadium of say 40.000 and only 35.000 will come why do you still put in so much money to make it bigger? Would u go to a soccer team that sucks in the league? I rather go to a top team that’s just how normal ppl think. Would you make 1.000.000 soccerballs when only 100 are needed? It’s a waste of money!
And you choose to be a manager in England, you should know by now that you have MORE chance to get good players in high ranked countries. Although i don’t see the point of this, it shouldn’t matter which team/country gets better players in the acedemy. In my opinion it should be totally random.
And about the tranfermarket, well managers still pay WAYYY TO MUCH for players. So the prices will stay high and if you don’t want to pay it or can’t afford it, there is a free transfermarket where you can find enough of talents if you look good :)
Why do you even play when you think the game is so broken?
Maybe do something simple like make young players grow faster? It’s getting rly annoying now that you have to wait till they are 23/24 before they are even close to decent. Seems to me an update like that isn’t that hard to accomplisch?
I play world of warcraft to and since they introduced achivements, most of the game has just got down in fun and ppl just been ridiculious and plain arrogant about them. Hope for you guys that this will not happen here.

it was fully rejected, however what i noticed just now is that friendlies are planned as i intended. So the rejected match wasn’t schedueled, but in the invitation menu it said it did.

I’ve run into a little thing about the mass accepting of friendlies.
This is the situation:
- 3 teams wanted a friendly on tick 17
- I rejected 2 of them
- Then i did mass accept
- The system resetted the 2 rejections and just accepted the team he wanted
So the problem is when i reject first some matches and then do mass accept it will reset the rejected matches.
you can now change all the friendlies formations at once when u do mass accept
