I agree with Toni, we may implement scouts in the future to help on this task though.
I prefer door nº4. There are still some teams available and beta1 still needs improvements.
The result may be right, I guess the events were not correctly generated…
my preference would be to start beta2 and forbidding managers to join both. At the same time, guys that are stuck with div2 teams in beta1 can drop their team and move onto beta2 and try and get a better team…

The easiest thing would be maybe start Beta 2, the only risk is having managers from Beta 1 also playing on Beta 2, letting a few spots for new users :P
We could forbid playing in more than one dimension for now, but I don’t know if that’s a good thing.
To add more teams on Beta 1 we’d have to reset it or try to do a workaround when season 2 starts, but looks like we have all teams taken before that. What do you guys think?
1) Reset Beta 1 when there is no more available teams.
2) Start Beta 2 and allow managers to play on both
3) Start Beta 2 and forbid managers to play on both
4) Wait for Beta 1 to reach season 2 and add more teams (there is not a way to do that currently, but we could work on it)
Suggestions accepted.
p.s.: we may have a few managers not playing at all, we could fire some of those to give room for people who wants to play. We’ll work on a way to check if a manger is not active.
First of all, great start… the game needs lots of improvements but nothing in life is easy.
Just a small sugestion… there should be a log out button in the dimension chooser screen.

I understand that most managers that already have a team wouldn´t like to start Beta2 now but I also understand it would be very frustrating to sign up and have no team to manage.
What is the right move here?

Do you guys already have a plan what to do when there is not enough free teams for everyone? Start Beta2?
I actually don´t like the idea of a global transfer window.
A large part of the fun in manager games is the fact you have to seriously look for players. I really love the feeling when I´ve checked every country and then I find what I want from the last one.
It feels the best when you find a promising player from Georgia or Afghanishtan and nobody else wanted to check those countries. Then you just wait and hope the next two ticks that nobody else will find your player. :-)
I think one or two, preferably two, ticks would be the best in preventing cheating through too quick and cheap sales to a friend. One is enough in most cases but if we want almost everyone to have a chance to compete for a player, then two.
I don´t like the idea of three because it is very frustrating if you are the first one to find a new, great player and then after you´ve waited three ticks there are 75 other teams after the player. If it was only one or two ticks then there would only be around 30-40 teams after the player YOU found! ;-)
hmm, very strange. it seems to be a very particular situation, since it doesnt happen for any of my players. is there anybody else having the same problem?
Hehe, I remember the time I was so hooked up with MS that I checked almost every country every tick.
How much countries were there? Around 50? :-))

The game is meant to be played in Firefox, other browsers may or may not work. Good to know it works in Mac FF though :)
Great job on the IE work m8!! it really works a lot better….although i can now only line up 10 players??
I have a mac and everytime i have tried to load formations it causes my browser to crash.
I have not been having problems with Firefox thou, feel free to drop me a e-mail if you need someone to test for bugs.
