We had a bug that deleted a few matches in the past, even though it’s now fixed some matches couldn’t be recovered.
We don’t have priorities for your applications but you won’t automatically lose your first choice. What may happen is that applications for your second option get processed first and then your first option application will be cancelled. If you’re lucky enough, your first option will be processed first, giving you a chance of getting the job.
In the future we’ll have a way for managers to define priorities on their applications.
Beta 1 tick has an error. We may not be able to fix that in the next 1 or 2 hours. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I was refering to change the ruby word also. Ruby has nothing to do with a manager football game. Actually Ruby can be misunderstood with Rugby. If I had had found this site on google, I would never figure out that it would be related to on-line football manager. This is my point!
I would suggest something completly different like … KickOffSim, KickOffManager, ManagerEvolution … or others. This is appealing for people who do not know what is rubysoccer all about. Sounds better!
… but … maybe at this point it is not a good ideia to change since people are getting used to rubysoccer name.
… also … this topic didn´t got many replies … maybe people do not care.
If you guys think that this could be worth it, let there be a pool!

yea i kinda agree with the select all option…
doesnt bother me ruby soccer or ruby manager, perhaps a poll?
Just a quick question, I didn’t see this topic covered so I apologize if I missed it already.
If I apply for two jobs-one job with several other applicants and one job where I am the only person applying-do I automatically get the second job?
The reason I ask this is because there are a couple of people applying for my first choice team and no one applying for my second choice team. I’d apply for both, but was wondering if I did that do I automatically lose out on my first choice?

I suggest to change the option from “invert selection” to “select all” because to invert means to reverse in position, order, or relationship. This is probably why its confusing some managers such as myself.

In-game emails are too wide, often need to scroll to read properly.
Is there now a need to rest the player for a tick or two after an injury? Will playing him the next turn raise the possibility of re-injury?
If not, is that kind of thing going to be added?

You can do that, just go to your profile page and you’ll see all your job applications listed with a cancel icon in the left :-)
Aggression is affecting too much the player behaviour during the match, we just have to be careful when changing that so that cards don’t disappear from the game.
I wouldn’t say that, I had a 6×1 victory playing 5-4-1.
currently i think 3-4-3 and 3-5-2 are the best tactics around… i would love to use 4-4-2 but simply cant get results!

Not sure if I should put this as a bug – but it seems to be better to play with more attachers and midfielders than with defenders.
If you look through my fixtures (Colchester United beta1), I’ve had some funny formations (which were choosen accidentily) but seem to get some great results.
Or maybe I’m a tactical genius.
1) bad luck
2) /future/ individual player orders (that will allow you to have more control over this player)
3) /future/ punishments

Please make sure you build up that “bug situation” in your default formation screen. i will see if i can reproduce it there and as soon as I am done i will let you know so you can change your password again.

I have a player, named Alessandro Pantanetti , that has been sent off 3 times in recent matchs (against Pisa, Livorno and Reggina).
He has 99 of aggression… i know the problem lyes here but 3 times sent off!!!???
Could it be considered a bug???

I willo try to explain it better:
There should be the opportunity to cancel the application to a job, instead of waiting one tick to get the team e one other to resign.
It’s not a bug… it’s more like a suggestion.
