Why my 3 strikers w/ 100 shot skill each (playing home!) can´t win a game with 20 shots on target agains a not so good goalkeeper?
I already have talked with Gabriel some seasons ago. I just want to share a little math:
Lets do it with 100, 500 and 1000 chairs:
Chairs – Cost
100: $0.5M
500: $2.4M
1000: $4.55M
Cost per new chair
100: $5k
500: $4.8k
1000: $4.55k
My team had played 28 official games in home last season. Lets suppose full house all games, so:
How long it will take to pay my investment?
100 chairs → need 500 home games, so: 500/28 = almost 18 seasons
500 chairs = 17 seasons
1000 chairs = 16 seasons
Is it worth? What is your opinion?
Note: 16 seasons = 864 turns = 384 days in FT (more than 1 year!) Just to have your $4.55M back.

normally if a team have a lot of shots it is using long shot and have more players at zones A, M+1, M+0 and D+1
If you hardly have 10 shoots it is because other team should have a very solid defence and middlefilder.
About your second questions: since 2 months ago when they have changed how match engine works all managers are making experiments about the best tatic, because the old ones are not working so good anymore.
Now middle have more importance. Before strikers use to be very strong. Sometimes players from zone M+1, M+0 have more shots than strikers

This team is 5 officials matches without loose and beating great teams (like my one damit!). After 6 games without win, what happened? Have you found a great formation?
After you have changed -1, 0 and +1 logic, it is been common, at least at my team, players from position D +1 been more present near oponnets goal than striker at position A-1.
For me defender -1, should stay just in defence and rarelly at middlefield
Defenders +1 should be more common at middlefield but very rarelly in A +0 or A +1
Summarizing:

Gouveia 95 tackle, 93 shot, 96 speedy
Defenders: all with 97+ tackle
Middle: very high tackle, pass and dribble
Goalkeeper: 99 goal, 100 head, 98 control, 89 speedy (his average: 94)

Ok to loose for 0×1, 0×2 or 1×2, but 0×4??? insane.
