Are you talking about rescission clauses? They’re not mandatory. Some contracts have them, some don’t.
Anyway, the situation I mentioned is real and was made public by both sides, so I guess it really happens.
yeah that just reminded me is there going to be new leagues added to rubysoccer, like the turkish league, scottish, netherlends, belgium, etc?
it doesn’t happen in real life.
a soccer player contract always has some kind of fee for the side who wants to break out.
if another club wants to hire a player against the owner club will, it just have to pay the fee and the contract is broken. nowadays in rubysoccer we have pay this fee to fire, but not to contract a player.
just to mention!
Best!
You’re right Leonardo, but I’ve just had an ideia…after implementing the Clubs World Championship I’ll use that to give a weigth to each continental competition and make an worldwide ranking instead of two continental rankings. That should be interesting :-)
Brazilian teams have an advantage then, because they only face Argentinian teams, and different from reality, in the game they are not that great.
I agree, it’s something I wouldn’t do: set a price and make it higher as soon as someone beats it.
In your place, I wouldn’t buy the player – it’s a matter of principle for me.
Anyway, I think it’s up to us, managers, to decide what to do on these situations…
Talking about a little conversation. He literally said it was 25M in his message cause I want to give only 20M first. But I just have to pay this 30M if I want the player I guess…
And what you said about Simao I can understand in rubysoccer (not in real life) that you see the light and realise that the player is still very usefull for the team. But raise the transferprice is a totally different point according to me.
I just want to mention this…
Cheers
No Polat, youth quality has to do with the team’s country performance on international cups and the team’s division. Generating better youths based on ranking could be unfair, as a team playing in an “easier” league with lots of CPU teams would usually have a better performance and get better youths even if this team is from a small country or a lower division.
I agree it’s not correct, thorpedo, but things like that happen in real life… Three years ago, the deal was closed between Benfica and Liverpool, Simão had agreed terms with the english side, and he was already inside the plane getting ready to lift off to England when Benfica’s president called him back and canceled the transfer :P Sellers change their mind very easily…
Here in Rubysoccer it happened to me once, but it was nothing that a little conversation between buyer and seller couldn’t overcome. :)
Just my two cents.
I want to buy Silveira Martins of Independiente (Fastticker) and my bid was exactly the transferprize of 25M. I was already negotiating with the player. And this morning I saw that the manager of Independiente had raised the transferprize to 30M.
I can accept this if there is another team that has offered 25M but not now cause I’m the only team that has offered 25M AND we were already negotiating.
I think there has to be something that the selling manager can’t change the transferprize once the buying team and the player are negotiating. So can you implete such kind of rule?
There has to be some fairplay in the game.
Cheers
Team and manager history are paginated. That will save some page loading time.
I love it i just cant wait for the turkish league.
if a club has a better ranking does this mean that they get better youths. if not i think there should be.
cheers
You can now see the teams ranking (using the same “flag” icon in the menu). If you had managed only one team since we began all this ranking stuff your team will be in the same position as you. In the future we’ll use this ranking to define cup matches.
I’m also satisfied like the game is right now. Maybe you can expand the board in a next step and consider my suggestion for the CL.
Cheers.
Well, it is not the most beautiful thing in the world but I think this works now :). I will adjust the look and feel later.
cheers!
I am really satisfied with the way things are going so far ;-)
I was curious to know what is our community feeling about how things are going in rubysoccer. Are you pleased with our development and new features? What about the future? Do you have any other feedback you would like us to consider?
Speak up!
cheers!
I will change this very soon. I will probably have to completely change the tooltip position.
thanks and cheers
Hy Danilo, I’m working with IE 6 and 10214 × 768 resolution and still don’t works. I’m trying in Firefox too but the same problems.
Sorry, this really cause me more time to arrange my team and I know your and Cesário is really busy. I’ll download IE 7 and let you know if it works.
Thanks
Regards
There is nothing to do with altruism ;-). When I find a player today, being “hard” as it is now, I have to fight for that player against 5 to eight other managers. If this file idea goes ahead, there will be even more managers trying to get the player.
If something should be done is to make it even harder to find a player… like dividing the search page of every country in pages of 10 players most. Adding more countries, increasing the delay of server response.
I`d like the day when it will be possible to find a player and don`t have to fight for him against a whole bunch of other managers.
It’s almost pure lucky. Almost because in the first round I pick only team in the second division…randomly :-)
In the future we can use a better criteria, like the one you mentioned. Sounds interesting.
talk about altruism :) but I think I agree with you. Lets see if we have more opinions/arguments here.
cheers!
Anything different for donators is wrong in my opinion. The game is either free entirely or payed. I would pay for this game, but while it is free, everything has to be equal for donators and non-donators.
Ok!
I imagined that you guys ‘d have some sort of club ranking.
But do you use it as a criterion to sort teams in nat’cups or something like that?
Is there a criterion to sort teams or it’s just pure lucky?
We were doing some performance tests, MediumTicker is back, FastTicker is 1 hour late but will be back to normal after next tick.
Cheers!
Hi,
so far no medium tick … after two attempts (16h, 17h – Portugal Time)
We already have a club ranking. We just dont show it to you guys yet :). But we will.
cheers!
You guys could create a club ranking, based on titles and league positions. It’d be nice to be used instead of sorting as a way to define national cup’s matches… just like it was in libertadores until 2006: the best club against the worse, the 2nd best against the 2nd worse… think about it!
Best!
Well, one possibility that I was talking to Gabriel about is to dedicate one of our access points to donators only. As for the game features, I agree that there should be nothing available to donators only.
We still have to study the possibility, but the only advantage would be the very fast access to the game. The idea is that the donator should at least have a quicker access to the game. What do you guys think about that?
cheers
