With a top team having to play so many competitions (4-5), it is surely going to take the toll on the manager. You would be obligatesd to log in every tick to check and recheck formations.
Indeed, there are only 11 countries in FT and 9 in MT. All countries should get a chance to compete with each other with their teams
However the best thing would be to replace the 2 continental cups, with two world cups and prolong both competitions a bit for more teams and more fun along the way

My players are already very tired, so I don’t want them to compete in one more cup. If you really need a challenging global cup, just unite Libertadoras and the CL. And I think it will be quite enough. Don’t forget that Benfica and Hertha have 30 and 34 league games against rather weak opponents, so they can be more competitive in international cups which will require not only skill but also enormous stamina and a very long bench.
I think it will be a good time to try…..
The think is too long period from the end of competition (much more if you are out of international), and the start of the new season to around turn 18…. too long. A world cup will fill perfect. If not, at least we can implement a break in the middle of the season, where you can work out injured players or low stamina levels, or even find some other players on the market…..

Starting next season on both dimensions managers will receive a bonus or penalty on their performance rating depending on their competition results compared to the Board expectations. You were expected to fight against relegation but was middle in table? Extra rating points for you! Were you eliminated from the national cup sooner than expected? Too bad, your rating will drop a little bit.
The amount of rating points earned or lost will depend on the quality of your opponents. In a well balanced league, failing or being above your expectations may not affect your rating that much, but if a top team fail or a clearly inferior team performs really well, that will make a big difference.

It could be worse, you could be sitting there with 64% possession and 20 shots on goal with no scores while your opponent scores on one of his 3 shots on goal. The game engine is some what random BUT so are real games, there are plenty of real life matches where a team will be in complete control of the game with 60+% possession but all it takes is one good run by the other teams offense to get a goal.
Gabriel, I’m glade to hear that you guys have plans to bring the # shots on goal down to make it more realistic. However I understand how you can be upset about your result Vaughn, but things like this happen in the game and in real life I wouldn’t call it a bug. Bugs would be issues where the game engine doesn’t work correctly. (not winning a match is not a bug)

As you say the board only evaluate single match, but this evaluation I think isn’t realistic or extremaly hard. I won my match away against Getafe in Champions League (we tie and my team were lucky in the penaltyes) and the board didn’t give me any points, last game I tie at home against Coruña (if you see the report, we should have won this game) and the board penal me with 5 points!!!! I think is not real.

Oh, and nothing else influences the shots, it’s only shooting skill and distance (to determine if the shot was good) and keeper quality.
I’ve had a couple similar results lately (one with them against Palmeiras). I believe the main reason for that are the “uber” goalkeepers (as someone said in another topic). With some enhancements we’ll add to the match engine soon (like partial successful tackles) we hope to reduce the number of shots to a more realistic number and by doing that we’ll probably have to make it a little bit easier to score.

it’s not all about main stats, sec. stats also takes a big count so u might wanne look into that.

I know… their goalkeepers are great but i’ve played with 92/93 shooting skill atackers and i’ve put short distance shooting to improve the odds of scoring. And it’s not just that: the last 5 games or so have been the same story, great goalkeepers, lot more shots than the opponent… and even the opponent gets to score with less shots resulting in several draws.
So I’m having the following doubt: is the quality of the shots influenced by other factors other than the shooting skill of the atacker, the shooting distance and the opponent’s keeper quality? For example, could the quality of the opponents defenders or the type of tactics i’m using (other than the shooting distance) also influence the shots?
Other than improving the squad quality and relying on luck i’m beginning to think that at some point tactics is a little useless against a reasonable tactic and a great squad.

Not really, what Dhimitri did was fire lots of players from his team in order to rebuild the squad. This was identified as a potential destructive action to the team and he was fired, even though nobody benefit from his actions.
