sly, whoever the managers may be, lets not use the term “cheating” here in forum against anyone unless it has been proved.

gabriel,
is that stamina percentage deduction thing working properly???
i lost an away match to a team whose average stamina was 74%. my first team was better than his and i was playing with 4-5 players above 30…

already sold…
don’t be jealous… when i got to this team finance was really at a very bad condition. it took me some time but i could hire some free players and sell them at a good price after some time.
i think the only difference was that i was never greedy to ask outrageous prices for my players, which would frighten the suitors… i only asked those prices which i thought i would pay to get those players, so i had more turnover than others. But it doesn’t mean i can sustain going ahead at this rate… i need to have more turnovers to bolster my situation…

UPDATE: another good player sold for a reasonable price. I got him for free too…

i would give a big NOO

Agents should never get full transfer amount… may be we could pay some percentage… lets say 10%, but 100% will never get my support

Sly i have 4 strikers in above 95 range, who i got from free transfers.
Also i have two 18 and 20 year old young guns, both having shooting skills of 89 and 87 each. And 4 turns back, i got a 26 year old, 97 skill shooter from free market (total skill 630), who surprisingly is still improving :).

Profit and loss are relative. They are not always directly correlated with the transactions of a single player, but then with the overall transaction of the club itself. and if someone buys him for that amount i will consider it a success.

@paradokus, i am selling not because i think he wont improve anymore, but as i said above i have 4 strikers in the shooting range of 95 or above. and 2 of them are still in their 26 and 27. plus you will know a reason if you see my wage bill :)

although i am sure i can sustain for some time to come, but it is a good thing to gain some amount from selling those players who i won’t be using and reduce my wage bill :)

Check out this guy…
Attributes sometimes can lie but he is a prolific scorer (that too in the spanish league) and the best thing about his game is he has still left to improve a lot more. He hasn’t played much first team football and given some time will be great in the future.

players are not as intelligent as we managers are :)

but when you come up with ideas, please also think about those players who have good stats but are still in the free market. Don’t only think about good players who get hired for 100K plus amount ( those are may be 0.05% of total number of players). But those players who don’t get hired are probably 30-40% of total and around 10-15% of those players are good youths and decent players (who are either old or were not given enough matches to improve their stats)

I’m with a doubt, I can play in the two dimensions of the game at the same time or so is allowed to have one account at once?

if this was your question… you can play in both the dimensions at the same time with one single account.
Same username will work for both the dimensions…

out of season would be too harsh for any player…

any red card received during a match is an earned red card…

my breakdown is as follows…

Yellow Cards:
first 2 yellow cards : 1 game ban ( total yellow cards 2)
second 2 yellow cards : 1 game ban ( total yellow cards 4)
5th yellow card: 1 game ban. ( total yellow cards 5… and card count does not reset to zero, that means 6th would mean another game ban because it is a consecutive 2 card )

Red Card:
First red card: 1 game ban (total red card 1)
second red card: 1 game ban (total red cards 2)
3rd red card: 2 game ban

Higher Ball Control ability??
Higher Ball Passing Ability??
Better Player Dribling??
Or is is the Better Overall Player Average??

*If it is ball control, why does my midfield whose ball control ability ranges from 90 to 98 (92.5 average) fail to gain more than 41% of possesion against a team whose midfielders ball control ability 87.5 (counting only the best ones)
*If it is Passing ability, why is my team whose passing ability ranges from 91 to 100 (Avg 97) fail to gain any authority in midfield??
*If it is player dribling, why does my team with a decent average of 89.5 dribling ability does not have any control in midfield…
If it is the Player Average, why does my team having a first team midfield average of 87.25 struggle against a team whose player average are worse?

After a draw at home against a team which is above my team in the league, my board performance dropped by 2% …

is that fair??? i got two of my best players injured and still managed a draw against a better opposition, why should the board be unhappy. i was on the brink of victory until the penultimate minute of the match…

1% drop is understandable, but why 2% ???

Those teams playing with “hard” tackle strategy seem to be getting away lightly… it is time we introduce some more punishments for accumulations of yellow and red cards as it happens in real life…
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/577320
In this game i got two of my best players injured and opponents got away just with a single yello card (for fouls causing injuries), and a chance of victory snatched from under my chin.

Additional punishments for yellow cards could be like

  • if your card tally adds up to 5 then you are suspended for next game. ( that means you get 1+1+1 = 3 games suspension in total)
  • similarly if you get 3 red cards, you miss next 2 games for the last red card.
(these are just some examples, we could always discuss on the nature of effective punishments.)

@Davison, no one is singling you out… or trying to call you out for your outrageous transfer amounts or whatsoever… thats your right to set whatever you think is appropriate. no one will invest in anything if they think it is not beneficial…

Having said do, you should not attack anyone personally anywhere… you dont’ have any rights to abuse at any other managers. Blackpool is doing very good in what he thinks is right. He has a simple strategy which would work very well in real life. Rather than paying sky-rocketting transfer prices to other clubs, he is paying that amount directly to the players (in the form of wages). Because you don’t pay that money to another club, no one else can get benifit of your investment and you also get better players… but then life will not be as easy every time…

I was also in the running for Cristian Brito, who was hired by Blackpool. I had offered similar high wages which was beaten just by blackpool. i congratulate him for getting that wonderful player. had i seen blackpool bidding for him before going to sleep that night i would have raised my bet further….

finally, my advice for you “do whatever you want to do that is allowed by the regulations, but without personally abusing another manager”…
