THE LEGENDARY REDS ARE BACK!!!
Liverpool won its 13th domestic title, but only its first in 35 years. Their last EPL title, and also the last trophy ever won by Liverpool, dates back to season 16.
After ending 2d a year ago, which as also their promotion year to EPL. Liverpool fought to the very end in a fantastic fight with Blackpool, to finally win the title only 5 minutes before the final whistle of the season. Both teams finished with 100 points, but with a 143-26 goal record, Liverpool enjoyed a cushion of +17 goal difference over Blackpool to claim the title.
In addition, Liverpool managed to beat Blackpool in both league games to a 7-3 agg in goals, and also kick them out of the CL quarterfinals.
“We are definitely back,” said an overjoyed manager. “Allow me to also add: THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!”
Indeed, all doubters can rest quiet after the RED’s perfomances in the last couple of years. What is also impressive is the club’s run in the CL, where they managed to reach the semifinals only to crash out to the eventual champions, Sporting de Gijon.
“We clearly beat them in the group stage in Anfield,” said the manager. However, our lack of depth meant the players were growing tired as the season progress, which clearly counted against us in the later stages of the competition. Do I really have such an amazing team? (Fastticker – Bordeaux)
After my holiday and holiday mode I noticed the player values were changed and with it the board expectations. From reach europa league before my holiday to fight for title afterwards.
It looked strange to me but as I was more then 10 points behind for the title I didn’t asked what happened during my absence.
Now with the beginning of a new season my expactions are fight for title, reach final and reach final.
So is my team that good, what means are my manager skills that bad (at the moment) :p
What happened whit player value?
only way to do is two tabs of training. Another way would be to change the whole configuration of training. for making a first and one for second time with victory condition of partial loss and tie.
Right… i had my suspections that had to do with my miserable performance in the Europa League. Althought, domesticly i had got a fair enough result.
We would never do that to the current dimensions, though…

What happens is that every time the league ends your performance is evaluated against your team quality. If you performed better than expected you earn a bonus, if you did worse you lose points, if you did as expected nothing changes. The amount of points earned / lost depends on the quality of the opponents in the competition.
A similar calculation happens when you advances in a cup against a stronger team (you get a performance bonus) or loses against a weaker team (you lose points).

Any problems detected in manager rankings!!!??? Suddenly my performance dropped radically to 74%.

That’s something we probably never thought about…maybe because that’s what the whole strategies setup is for. I don’t know, let’s see if we can get some opinions :-)
It would be interesting to have a tick with just half game played, so we could change tatics to the second half time.

There are only 2 situations, I belive, where the individual tactic is “reset” to play position:
- you replace the player in a given position (put player A on M LC +1 where player B was) – in this case the tactics defined to the original player B will vanish;
- you move the player to a position that would invalidate the tactics, for example, you define move forward to a player on A C 0 and then move him to A C +1, this means the move forward tactic is not valid anymore so it goes back to play position.
Is it happening in different situations?

The players’ estimated value calculation is dynamic so if they are rising it makes perfect sense to assume it has to do with the current transfer market. :-)

I defined the individual tactics and it is not the first time they simply vanish. I Just understand that when I go to make some changes and I notice that every player is without instructions.
Anything I can do?

I also remember a no relegation clause! Players from teams became free when those teams relegated! this could add some interest in the season tick!

He’s tried that but his username is already in use (not when first registered) so its a spam issue by the sound of it.
I tried signing up the first time with a hotmail addy and it failed. The email never arrived so i set up a gmx email.
Signed up again and got the email right away. Try that
Thats some price! All i know is that its nearly impossible to get value for money when buying in the transfer market these days.
Anyone thats aged 21-26 is massively overpriced.

A friend of mine (next door neighbour also) wants to join but isn’t getting a reply. We are soccersim old boys and remember having problem with IP’s and it stopping duplicate team entries. Is this happening here maybe? or is there a problem with spam mails etc and a direct email account he can register interest to?

Hmmm, that certainly adds flexibility to the team setup…we’ll evaluate the effort required to do that. It may look simple but our whole positioning design is based on the current rules for mentality :-)
My suggestion is to have two separate pages for team setup configuration.
One page for players field placement and another for player mentality (offense, defense or neutral).
Fair enough, but this is not the only change to be made regarding old players x young players, when I change what you’re saying I will also have to implement a different behaviour between them when it comes to contract length. Young players should prefer a shorter contract while older players would prefer a long-term one.
This contract length behaviour change is already planned, so we can do this other change at the same time.

Gabriel, we have to rethink a bit.
I tried to hire an old player (34yo) and offered more money than others, but I miss the contract.
Why an old player would prefer to receive less money and play in a not so known team?
It makes sense if the player is young.
Joseppi is right, you may have missed the announcement about the changes on player contract decision. The wage is not the single factor of decision anymore, the player takes in consideration the chance of playing on its future team, that is, how good he is compared to his future teammates.
