Could someone please explain me the negotiation rules of (free) listed players again.
I did a bit on this player with no specific priority. My bid seemed to be higher but he went to Marseille. How is this possible?

If he had a priority I would understand.

Alcantara was listed for 75M and will probably leave for 40M.

Since Malaga was eliminated sooner then expected in CL by a good playing PSV the Malaga manager decided it is time let some star players go . He wants to give youngster a chance to become next generation star players of Malaga.
For an honnest price all listed players can leave. Some still are amongt the best in fastticker.

You need to evaluate the effects for sure.
I mean at the moment it is harsh to see a topplayer on the transferlist (for a long time) but he doesn’t want to sign.
Maybe a significant salary increase could be a possibility to persuade such a player. Significant would be +75% till + 100% of the normal salary he would ask.
An other possibility is a new profile.
I’m thinking about Paulinho of Barça. He played for Tottenham, then went to China and comes back to play for a top club like Barça.
Or the Belgian Witsel who had a bright future to become a real top class player in Europe but he chose for the money, first in Russia and later in China. Result: he only became a good player and no real top class player.
So you could create a profile like:
- doesn’t want to play for squad with too many players of his home country, except if it’s a top class team
- doesn’t want to play for squad with too many players of his home country, except if it’s a lower class team
- wants to play abroad, except for a top class team in his home country
- wants to play abroad, except for a lower class team in his home country
- wants to play in his home country, except for a top class team abroad
- wants to play in his home country, except for a lower class team abroad
Couldn’t it be possible that a player expectation changes during their career.
I did a bit on Franz Beckenbauer (CRB) and he refused because he thinks there are too many players from his Country (Spain) in my team. Could be possible since Malaga is in Spain. :-)
It’s good to see great players point to other countries than their home country.
But maybe they can change this expectation in the last years of their carreer. They want to come back to their home country or …

Gabriel I got this expectation with a contract negotiations of my attacker.
“Kostas Gazis is expecting a higher than usual wage. He thinks your team has too many players from his country.”
There are only 2 Greeks in my team, he and a midfielder. I don’t think these are too many on a total of 30 players.
Is this a bug? Or is the expectation made in percentages? In this case more than 5% = too many
I haven’t tried it myself but I guess you could make an event substitution.
Something like:
“In any match, when the event is Injured Defender, replace the player on the position where the event happened by Dennis Troost”
This was an issue which was mentionned before. The skill decrease after 30 was there from the very beginning of the game. The different improve profiles came later. So players with a profile of full improvement on 30 were already loosing their skills again.
It has been fixed by the devs a couple of seasons ago but only for new players.
Since you’re playing in mediumticker there will be older players that still have this crazy improve profile.
Be happy you have such a player. They will be extinct in short notice. ;-)
Both my goalkeepers have a negative trait “bad on pk”. He stays one of the best gk in fastticker. So I don’t consider it as worse in league competition or international matches with home and return. My strikers only need to score one more goal. :-)
I only consider it as negative in Cl Final or Club world cup when it comes to penalty kicks after 90’. I have lost them on pk’s.
Imo the national team is not a better competition. They meet a couple of days yo play a match and the players join their own teams aigain. They don’t train tactics like they do in their own team.
You don’t see the best football in national team competition. The best football is played in Champions league.
You can loan out these players but a striker would become man of the match easier than a goalkeeper.
I changed teams in mediumticker the past season and I am making coach reports of my players right now. I haven’t seen them in fastticker but here they are: weird next improvement steps “Play for National Squad”. I find this kind of ridiculous. In real life a player won’t become better because he plays for the national team. Most of the players won’t make it to the national team.
A player becomes better when he plays in a better competition or in a better team.
My player won’t be selected for his national squad because he simply is not good enough. So I need to become the manager of the national team and select him so he can play some friendlies. I don’t think this is the reason of being of a national team.
Another weird next improvement step is “Man of the match”. Why would a player become better when he’s man of the match. This would only make sense if it’s inproving his moral or pressure handling but not his player skills.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the improvements but some are more logical then others. Keep up the good work!

I use my phone to login now and in the formation screen you need to swipe the players to their position again as it was in the past.
Transfer budget now is 0. However I have 13M total budget which is regular. How is it possible to build a team like that?
I started playing in mediumticker (Manchester City) again a season ago. At the moment I only select a squad because a lack of time.
Now I look at my transfer amount today and it’s only 203k. Some ticks ago it still was more than 1M. I know because I wanted to buy a player but hadn’t enough money.
Is this a bug or is there a reason for this decrease? My financial situation hasn’t changed much.
Malaga is selling some key players. I’m open for negotiations if it’s a fair bid.

I also find it a strange strategie. Why are you buying players if you immediately loan them out.
In real life I don’t think Ronaldo or Messi would be happy if they were loaned to a small team. These players are important for the team according to their wages. So if they are not needed and loaned out their moral should collapse.
I know players could decrease skills after 31 yo but I find it strange to see a striker (Aitor Savaldor) decrease since he only reached his potential on 30 yo.
Wouldn’t it be more realistic these players only loose skills after 34 yo for instance but maybe faster then normal.
You should take a satellite team who loan and develop the player for 10years . They pay his wage and when he’s ready you call him back. ;-)
I have a young goalkeeper Roberto Leiro.
When I bought him he was scouted as a 94+ potential goalkeeper. After 1 season his potential only was 87 according to the coach report. Previous season I did an coach report again and his potential was 97 – 99. THis season he’s potential had decreased again to 85 – 90.
I know the coach report is more accurate when the player becomes older and reaches his full potential but how is it possible you have such a big differences?
I would understand he is scouted as 94 but the scout was too enthusiastic so he only will reach 87. These differences with Leiro look strange too me.
Gabriel, do i have to see my previous post also as a result of the increase of wages of similar players so my star player wants to keep the differce in wage as it was before. As a result he also asks more all thought he was 100% happy with his previous wage?
What is his morale status? Is he already critical?
I have another question about wage negotiation. In mediumticker my starplayer needs a new contract. His wage is 97k and he’s 100% happy with that wage. The suggested wage is also 97k. So I offer him the same wage.
I was suprised he was asking 114k. Since he’s my best player I don’t want to loose and accepted his wage offer. How is it possible he wants 20% more but the status report says he’s happy?

I had a wage negotiation with my Gk Angosto. He cancelled my offer after my first bid without doing a first bid of his own. I thought you had changed the negotiations that a player would always do at least 1 counter bid.
I also find it strange even a player with 100% hapiness of his wage wants more and if he’s a key player you can’t risk not giving him this better wage.

Gabriel, how smart are the players? Do they look at players with similar skills or at wages in absolute numbers without taking skills into account.
I have a top earner with Mella but he’s one of the best players of fastticker and has a golden star season after season. A normal player can’t refer his wage to such a player.
