About Auxerre red card I must disagree with you, they were loosing by 2 so they should be more aggressive so I would say it was normal the have seen a red card… About Hertha scoring with two less man it’s strange I agree. Then the result become ridiculous because Auxerre keepers changed, i don’t believe a real keeper would let every shoot enter like that one did but probably its not easy to make it more realistic, no one expects a manager to use a 70 keeper’s skill in a CL final…
EDIT: We also have to consider that both Auxerre’s main strikers were injured very soon and Hertha had SuperMan as goalie… :D
I think the division the team is doesn’t matter for the player’s decision, but in RS Germany has a better ranking league than England. The player’s value for the 1st team decision counts all skills so thats probably why he went to the German team.
It happen the same to me this tick, I offered a 15k wage for this player (http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/161851) and he went to Lille for a 6k wage. The thing is Lille has a similar number of strikers as my team just they have 3 strikers better than any of mine… Players should not only consider the number of players better than them but also how much better they are… That player would have much more chances to play first team in my team than he has in Lille…
I think even if a player dos not develop all he could in the youth academy he still can develop that later , but now you said that I’m not sure… We need Gabriel to clear all again :D
You probably don’t know, but Alessandro Figueira is in fact Arsene Wenger, he just want us to think we have a chance :D
Don’t know how he does it but I sure would like to, most of that players have a low starting value even for the season they start their career…

As it is in real life we what to make Manchester a club were young players do the jump from regular to world class players. With that in mind we what to maintain or increase the dynamic of bought and selling players. For that reason all players in our squad are available to negotiation for very reasonable prices. All players less than 30 years old are developing, even Team’s Capitan Robert Austin, and all of them we believe can be future top class players or they would not be in the team. After a long dark period in their history Manchester United is getting back, back to the Premiership, plenty of young promises and already some top class players that make us believe in a few seasons we will be able to make a stand in the league and start thinking about international competitions. For now the priority remains the formation of young talents, a tradmark of the team we plan to keep. Making the way to a place in Europa League this season will probably not possible with the current strategy and because Premiership has now many strong teams fighting for that, but we beieve next season we can have the two objectives in mind as the team gets stronger…

The board could not evaluate you for the players you use or there would be no point in managment if any squad I use it would be ok for the board. You are having those bad results for the board probably because of players stamina as I believe the board does not take that in consideration, and it shouln’t, keeping players stamina high is a job for the manager…

My national team assistent notificate me I have 3 turns to prepare the team for the next competition, but there is no national teams competition this season at Medium Ticker, should we just ignore the messenge?

I don’t know if the draw is making the weakers teams to play against the strogest as it is in international competitions but in Europe some candidates meet eachother very soon… England vs Portugal could be a final…
We will all stay in our teams. The expectations for the final was Brazil and Argentina so the four of us managed to reach the expectations. Now let’s see if I can manage to do better than they want… Too much difficult but not impossible :D

yeah Gabriel, for now it shouldn’t influence, but when we have the 4 years cicle I think it should, and also give experience points to the player, making it a regular match…
Some other questions now the competition is about to start:
1- Does the stamina affect players performance in national team matches?
2- Can players be injured in national team matches?
3- (if yes for the last one) Does the stamina afect the probabylity of injury on a national match?
There’s something strange happening in the Formation Screen, I can’t make more than one change in the formation board, after doing one I have to get back to the screen and make another… Strange that no one has said nothing yet so maybe its just mine… Is it?
That would be better, one week in FT is too much and if the manager don’t come to the game 3 or 4 days he won’t be too worry about losing the team.

The new manager at Guimarães sign for the job and never showed up again… Gabriel think maybe 1 week of inactivity is too much, he should already get fired and now some great young players are leaving for free… I’m seeing my work being ruined :(
Hey guys, first of all I liked the teams logo in the players page, but I don’t think it makes that difference for the couch, I will have to analise the statistics anyway. But it looks cool so no need to complain :D
I have a question to make, are the friendly matches taking the home team advantage in consideration? I’ve been making changes to the team for away matches but probably it wasn’t necessary…
It’s ok Liverpool being on the qualification because England’s ranking is too low, but they should be automatacly qualified because they are the CL champions of last season, it is an ensurance that the Champs can defend their title…
By the way Gabriel, have you changed the rules for the qualification draw? Strange to see teams like Liverpool or Napoli almost at the end of the second colum…
I was thinking to manage just a national team this season but they only start competitions turn 53 so I’ll be changing plans and go to England now. Aplication made, thanks for the support Dhimitri, I promise to give you a hell of a fight some seasons from now :D
I’ll probably go to England, there are more human managed teams there and some other great names like ManUnt or Chealsea without a manager :D

I defintly agree our CL Group was the hardest by far, I needed an away draw to get it but it doesn’t happen… The last matches don’t count, the losing teams had no motive to fight anymore :D
I’ll probably go to England this or the next season (depending on National Teams managers selection). There are some major named teams in the Division 1 I think it would be a great challenge to get them back on the top…
Winds of change
It seems now most probably that I will leave Guimarães at the beginning of Season 44, I’m very glad with the job done here (thou the last few seasons were not that great) but I think it is time to change and I want to try something really new, I’m hoping to manage a National Team (luckily Portugal) but if that doesn’t happen I will leave for another “regular” team, this time not Portuguese team.
If you are looking for a team with some prospect I would recommend you Guimarães, I believe some of the youngsters will be the best players in the world.
PS: If the new manager whats he can use this topic :D
My opinion (based on Gabriel’s last post):
1) Totally agree
2) I agree with the first part. About the 2 seasons limit it sure will have to be when we have the 4 year cicle competition, till then maybe we could let the winner stays…
3) As the last one I think there should be experience points when we have a 4 year cicle competitions, also the stamina should drop… It would be more realistic and it would be the cost for those extra experience points, you could have other mechanisms to prevent managers from selecting their own players for the national team, such as higher expectation levels, more easily firing managers with horrible performances (probably because they selected their players and not the better ones).
About the CPU managed teams I would prefer to have them and have the nat teams ready for human management quickly than waiting for the improvments you will have to do to be possible one manager to have both league and nat team. Maybe we could have the CPU option (or leaving the team) while there is no 4 year cicle competitions and the managing the 2 teams when there is such a cicle, that way you would have time to prepare the changes needed for that while more countries are added to the game…
I’ve no problem with leaving your team to manage a national team… It is good for your reputation and a new challenge in the game… I kinda get bored if I stay to much time en the same team… Right now I’m just waiting for the Portuguese Nat team call to leave Guimarães :D
