I’m here to tell you all that I’m leaving Santo André to try the luck with my heart’s team. I won’t say the name but soon you will know.
I’m leaving Santo André in an excellent condition both in players and money.
Santo André got 7 titles in 6 season, so it is an excellent team!
Just to remember that letting Alberto Chaves behind will be hard to me.
Good luck to the next Santo André’s manager.

Hmmm, I see what you’re saying…I guess a “not ahead” by (your first suggestion) is the way to go…I thought in the opposite, not ahead by 2, for example, would mean you’re losing by 2, but that doesn’t make sense…don’t ask me why I made that confusion.
Danilo is the man when it comes to match strategies, I’ll talk to him.
Ok, my problem:
I must win with 3 goals to lead. How can I set my team to be more ofensive at 55 minutes if I didnt achieve my mission?

The behind rule Nirabdha mentioned can be used instead of not ahead specifying the number of goals, it won’t work only if we have a tie.
“not ahead” is already there, although u cannot specify goals in the current case.
but there is another which says “behind” where you can specify “X goals” … i guess that should work…
Being specific to cup ties, i guess “away goal” specifier could be helpful… ( but i don’t know how could the system work out )

Not ahead means you’re losing or drawing, it wouldn’t work for your national cup match example as you WERE ahead :)
Not tie is an option we haven’t thought about before, could be useful in some cases…

fernando i really appreciate your hard work… i am still waiting for the customizable update to make my comments… and i want to wait at least 1 week before really making my feelings spoil your hard work… ( i hope we can downsize the fonts (or the zoom out the page) in the customizable screen)
but only one thing that annoys me in this whole design is the way it takes up the whole unnecessary space in my browser…
i use a desktop (19inch 1200X1024) and a notebook(15.4 inch 1440X900), and luckily i still have two pages from the last system in one of my computers. and i compare these two screens against the current ones ( players info and league table).
I believe the header section in the current GUI is much better than the previous one. But the dynamic information display is not upto the point, but then the framework seems to be better than the previous one, so, i expect the things to get better with the new updates…
Formation → New Strategy
It would be great if in condition “result not ahead” we could set how many goals ahead.
I win last National Cup game (3×1) but I needed 4×1. With this new strategy I could set my squad much more offencive at end.
Other option: “not tie”. Very useful at late season if you are in the middle of the table because I can set a not good player to join unless tie match.
If we are wininig we can hold some minutes with this score. If we are loosing dosent matter a bad player to join.
Maybe if we have less youths (about 4 or 5) we can improve trades and avoid a little “free transfers”.
I like to search for recent youths that have been fired. We have so many that I never need to buy players.
And we have to recalculate players price. They are too high. It is very rare to sell 25+ y.o with suggested value.
Right, the text could be the same but for contract renewals it’d be obvious the turns left refer to the contract end :)

there wouldn’t be a need for any extra-subtitles.

Hah, I still think the default layout should be red.. but either way, yes Nirabdha the new layout is much more flexible, allowing for different colors (green is ready to go too), themes and configurations (such as the regular / miniature options). It should be added really soon.
Ulissão, I find it quite interesting that you actually miss the old stuff because you could use firefox tabs instead of the their new ajax counterparts, does anyone else have a similar opinion?
I would like to add something else as well, legally we couldn’t be using the old layout. It was something taken from a PHPBB theme when RubySoccer was still in beta, and it was supposed to be used temporarely. Anyways I am glad the game is thriving and got successful enough, and that now my friends won’t get sued ;-)

That is an option, but we’ll have to test it on different resolutions.
I’ve just noticed that as well, thanks for reporting.
To configure your squad in the non-miniature layout you should go to Team → Formations.
To switch it back go to Profile → Settings and check the option to use the miniature layout.

First of all great new layout. Especially happy about the new blue skin. Very nice to look at. :-) I was thinking that a smaller font size perhaps would make it easier to get a quick overview of the players. I’m using a display of 1024 × 768 and with this you have to scroll a great deal in order to view the whole squad.
I just saw the new detailed history feature.
