Anyone wants to loan out a young keeper with around 90 in keeping? I pay 100% wage. Cheers
I am a bit concerned about the economy of the game. CPU teams seem to keep spending money recklessly buying any player that is not too expensive. I wonder if this is sustainable? Do CPU teams have an injection of money from time to time?
I have an Economics degree from uni, so maybe I could make suggestions about some issues like inflation. I would need to better understand the basics of how things work first though.
Cheers
Hmm when I posted here didn’t show up the same way that it does in my ‘players’ menu.
It says something like: ‘Racing Club Ferrol’ ….
Maybe it’s my browser. I use google chrome
If you go to to menu ‘players’ in my team, and then click the ‘Contracts’ tab, there is a bug with the loaned players. Example:
Jokin Postigo G 23
Loaned from Racing Club Ferrol
241 $12,154 $138,676,335
Xisto Esteves G 24 Season 64, Turn 82 147 $11,082 $16,840,151
→ The first player is my loaned in goalkeeper. The second is my own player (note the bug when stating the team that I loaned my keeper from).
Oh, thanks for that Gabriel. The player improved (and very little) after like 35 friendlies or so. I then proceeded to sell the player asap! haha I didn’t know this rule.
I try to buy young players to make them improve, but I really don’t know which one would be potentially good. First criterion I used was the current skills + how much experience the player has + the coaching level of their current team. But apparently their starting ‘Value’ may be important too..
Do players from the high ranked have a better chance to improve? What i mean is, say you have bought two players that are 17 years old. One from Spain and one from Turkey. They have the same skills and obviously will go through the same coaching level at your team. Will the Spanish player have a higher chance to be better at the end?? Thanks.
Well put ogastou. I concur 100%
thanks Danilo
Valencia FastTick.
I have a young goalkeeper named Özgür Alpaslan. He is from Turkey. I’ve got him out of free transfers near the end of last season. He played ~5 friendlies then plus another 25 friendlies this season! My coaching level has been at 10 this whole time, and I am pretty sure he hasn’t improved in any skill so far!
Is this a bug?
Thanks Dimitri. Please don’t kill my youth team on our next friendly, which is at your home ground :)
I manage Valencia on the FastTick. I had invited team Trabzonspor for a friendly on turn 32 (my invitation was during turn 31 if i remember correctly). However, the turn passed by without the other manager accepting the friendly. After a few turns he accepted this friendly!! (the match is not happening anyway, unless we could get back to the future)
But now the system seems to think my next match is this friendly, and it makes the players in my friendly formation to appear in bold letters in the ‘players’ menu. Even if my actual next match is a league one, where I use my default formation (players in the default formation should appear in bold!).
I’ve tried to request a loan termination (my player had been loaned out to a CPU team), but I never received an answer.. I had to wait until the loan was over to get my player back.
IMO, the newspaper should be either fixed or removed entirely from the game.
Maybe that could be implemented by some players not wanting to renew their contract. The renewal decision would also be based on the happiness of the player in the team (if the player is not happy, he would leave at the end of the contract, no matter the wage offered)
Hello Paulo
Thanks for replying.
I looked at your team and became interested in the player Mariano Álvarez. I think maybe he can improve his skills a little more, no?
I’d be willing to borrow this player from you for this season. I can pay 100% wage.
Cheers
I would also be willing to borrow a younger player like this for this season.
By the way, I’m referring to the fast tick dimension.
Check out the team Mallorca in Spanish 2nd division. Then go to the previous years matches, and check the last couple of league games from the previous season. The match reports indicate a team with no keeper? And they were winning every game too!
Hi, I’ve been looking for a reasonably good MR for my team. I’m willing to spend up to 15M (my team is kinda poor!). If you have a player with some skills around 85 and above, and are willing to sell him, let me know.
Cheers
Thank you! I got it.
Had missed that option!
Cheers
I think that if the game is reset, you will probably end up seeing less human players. I imagine many people would be very frustrated about that and just quit. Many seasons building up their teams, and suddenly they have no team anymore..
I play on the fast tick, and a new season has just started. I’ve noticed many human teams managed to schedule friendly matches against a CPU team starting on turn 1. How do I do that? So far I could only find how to invite other humans for friendlies. The way I do is I click on the list of online players and invite the one I want.
Thanks for the help.
In my settings I set my friendly formation as ‘friendly1’ which is the name of my reserve formation, which I always use for friendlies. So I though it would automatically set my formation to this one whenever I accepted (or created) an invitation for a friendly.
However, what has been happening is that if I accept a friendly invitation without setting a particular formation, the AI will set my default formation, which is the main team. I wonder if I’m doing something wrong.
Listen, I’m new here, but I think people are being really pessimistic here. The game looks fine to me! In many aspects it is very realistic actually. For instance, the slow development of players. Starting at 16 and reaching their peak at around 25 is really good. Then dropping after 31.. I think that feature is very good!
I understand many people are questioning the transfer market. The economics of the game can get complicated indeed, but I couldn’t comment much without knowing how much money in the bank the CPU teams have at the moment. One thing that seems wrong to me is that CPU teams appear to be spending too much money buying old players. They can pay high prices for 34yo players, which doesn’t look right. But I imagine it must be quite hard to program the CPU teams to actually play the game as a human. We can’t really demand perfect AI. I think the fact that the game has been going on for so many seasons without huge problems is quite an accomplishment.
Sorry to bother you guys with another question.
I understand that a player should play at least 35min to be able to improve his skills on a given match. What I was wondering now is whether the chance of improvement is exactly the same for a player who played the whole 90min to the one who played 35min of the match?
Thanks
Another question about correlations ;)
Is there any relationship between the wage paid to a player and his performance during matches?
Thanks
Thanks!
Hi
Most of the people use their young players on friendly to make them improve their skills. I was just wondering if a player that starts the game with 100 stamina points has the same chance of improving than if the player was starting the game with 50 stamina points.
Thanks for the help.
Hi
Fisrt, I have to say that I’m new to RubySoccer. I’ve just been hired in a team in the Fast Tick Dimension.
It seems that there is a bug in my team→info page. More specifically in the table outlining my team’s last matches. My team is Valencia. The results show like this: Levante ?x? Valencia; Valencia ?x? Cordoba; etc.
I’ve tried to login with a couple of different browsers (chrome and IE) and the problem remains. It doesn’t bother me, as I can still see all the match results if I specifically click on ‘Matches’. The bug is just in this outline of the last matches’ results. I just thought I should let you guys know.
Cheers.
