The transfer process is not optimum and finally there are not a lot of good players at a fair price on the market.
Some ideas if it can help:
– auction system: the transfer price is a minimum and manager are allow to propose more. But that means also that the transfer period (between the fist offer and the deal) should be longer (now 3 ticks)
– allow deals out of the market (under the control of the admins). Player(s) again player(s) and/or money
Could you explain, in the Stadium topic, what means the Transfer budget bonus?
On the other hand, could you give us the detail point/penalty on visitor players?
Here is my setup:
Stadium 6 Penalty on visitor players’ skills (excluding old players): 2
Transfer budget bonus: 20%

I get a free midfielder from Sevilla and pay 200k a week. I will explain why it is not retarder:
200k * 50 (nb of week by year) = 10M… So he cost me 100M for 10 years. What is his cost on the market? At least 200M and there is no such player on the market… I will negociate his wage every year so… not so retarded

A good manager can do great things in Russia… For example Dhimiter (Lokomotiv Moscow). He got a second division team 6 game’s seasons ago and now has a really strong team (semi final of Champions league 2 years ago).

I agree with Dirk
I think that this increase of salary is too important. One player ask me a 50% increase, he is 31 and already has a very good salary (70k…). I think that in few years some huge players will ask so big salary that nobody will affort it. In any case not the team from small country without good young players to sell.

I have been playing RubySoccer only since the begining of 2012, but I really enjoy playing this game. I see a lot of other players disapointed by some parts of the game, but I want to thanks all the people behind RS. I think that they are doing a great work and it’s for free. Nowadays I don’t know pleople doing things for free (I live in Europe)…
For sure it can be better and with such active players on the forum with a lot of good ideas, the game will be better in the future. This is now our (the community) turn to spread the good word.

contract clauses is a really good idea but there will be some good players on the free market and managers will offer incredible wages to have these players…
one more idea: for now when you sign a player this is for ever. Imagine if you sign a player for x years and after these years, he has the choice to resign and get free to sign for a better team. If a player do not want a new contract the manager will have to sell him at a “good” price. The market will be more liquid. And some excelent players will not be playing in Columbian 2nd division…
