all those players that were returned back had not been hired by another manager…
and one more thing, no one is against you personally, everyone of us have suffered at different times. many of us have lost good players, many of us have been fired in from our teams. personally speaking, i myself was fired from bordeaux. losing one players should not shake our confidence, players move around all the times… sometimes we get something in return, sometimes we get nothing as you found out this time, but then a we also get free players a lot of times, don’t we???
can you deny the fact that you yourself have hired players in a similar way from free transfers before??? these are just part and parcels of the game.

Does anyone else think its weird that my board would not actually allow me to sale my player for less than certain amount of money, but does allow me to fire him and also agrees to pay contract break amount???
Take an example of Cleber Pessosa, a wonderful player in his own rights. Because i got another great striker on free transfer, I wanted to let this wonderful striker of mine go away for a minimal amount, but my board wouldn’t let him go for less than $1,636,750. But when i wanted to fire him, (although i didn’t actually fire him), they were ready to let him go and also willing to pay a fine of $185,509.
Guys, he is available on loan too…

A simple periodic re-calculation of players “value” would have been a great starting by turn 1 of season 28…

gabriel, i don’t think that is a good idea… i lost my promising youth player when i was on vacation… (check this post, http://www.rubysoccer.com/forums/1/topics/1215)
although this time this player is really good, manager should have been careful enough to give him contract in 36 turns.
36 turns = 6 days… if you can’t hire your best player in 6 days, then may be you don’t deserve him…
dot was not even on vacation, had he been on vacation, his quest would have been understandable… if “baby-crying” is used as a licence to ammend your mistakes, i am sure we are heading for uncertain future.
( in my opinion, transfer rollback should be used only in case of cheating and “vacation bug”. surely, both are not the case here)

it was your mistake to let him go… but if you had fired 5 or six more players along with him, things could have been different.. but then you would be fired too:)

people have different strategies at different times… and who can be so sure people will let only their substandard players to be loaned in that way…
if i had a very good young player (not enough to be in the first team), i would definitely let him play at another team for certain fee… ( although i would have to have my finance at its best)…
the only problem i see with this approach is this might be abused to give away money to another club. And i believe concerned club board should be very much strict in this matter and regularly moderated. Limits on max amount you want to pay and the number of players you want to go away for this kind of loan should be defined by the board. Also it needs to be constrained that only your best players are a part of that loan deal…

sometimes you know that player will be good, but you just need to give him some time to play.
and we could actually invite someone to develop our players and pay them for doing that, fair thing..

yes… it asked for a contract… so, i fired another youth and gave it a contract… and set the mode to vacation so that even if i would not be online, the board would renew the contract
does that mean i will never get the player :(
as far as i know, in any international tournaments (world cup etc) or leagues ( epl, UCL), two yellow cards in different games means a suspension in the next game of the same league/tournament. Not sure though how domestic cup/league games are tied.

i will say yes to equal no of countries in the major league, but when we are struggling to get managers for current leagues, i wonder who would want to manage even further lower leagues…
