Basta se cadastrar no site, entrar na comunidade e se comprometer em divulgar o RubySoccer por lá ;)

Hmmm, I see what you’re saying…I guess a “not ahead” by (your first suggestion) is the way to go…I thought in the opposite, not ahead by 2, for example, would mean you’re losing by 2, but that doesn’t make sense…don’t ask me why I made that confusion.

Danilo is the man when it comes to match strategies, I’ll talk to him.

As this post is about a Brazilian social network, I’ll make it in Portuguese ;)

I understood, Ulisses, just saying it wouldn’t fit your example :)
The behind rule Nirabdha mentioned can be used instead of not ahead specifying the number of goals, it won’t work only if we have a tie.

Not ahead means you’re losing or drawing, it wouldn’t work for your national cup match example as you WERE ahead :)

Not tie is an option we haven’t thought about before, could be useful in some cases…

Right, the text could be the same but for contract renewals it’d be obvious the turns left refer to the contract end :)

That is an option, but we’ll have to test it on different resolutions.

To configure your squad in the non-miniature layout you should go to Team → Formations.
To switch it back go to Profile → Settings and check the option to use the miniature layout.

About the country flags not being over their countries, we found the problem, it happens with the standard layout, not with the miniature, that’s why I couldn’t see it before. Working on it!

The aim is not 1024×768, it’s the limit resolution we support. Regarding spaces, we can certainly work on that ;)

@Masato: I agree :)

What do you mean? Show the turns left before the player leaves? Cause currently the turns left on this screen means how many turns it will take for the player to respond your proposal (for transfers and loans).

You’ probably using a relosution like 1024×768. It is a bug anyway, we’ll look into it :)

Thanks!

- color: we’ll have more options
- improve colorize colors: sure, that shouldn’t be hard
- icons on top: let’s give it a try for a while, we can change it later if need be
- being harder: a little bit cause you guys were used to it, a little bit because we need to work on the comments received here
- world cup: I owe you guys this one, but I also owe match engine improvements, let’s see what can I do first
- USA and Mexico: probably not yet
- newspaper location: makes sense to be under league while we only have match results news, not sure when we have other news
- maintain the old layout and improve this one: this would be hard given what we’ve changed so far
- match replay over menu: I’ve noticed this one, we’ll probably move the replay down so it doesn’t happen

Thanks guys!

Standard layout is the default for new users, we put the miniature as default for existing users cause they were already used to icons instead of menus. Regarding size, it adjusts to fit different screen resolutions so if you have a big resolution things will look fairly spread. But we need to consider the most used resolution from our users is 1024×768 (23% of our visits).

I’ve created this topic for discussions around the new layout. Let me start with a comment. It is possible to alternate between what we call miniature layout and standard layout. By default all existing users were set to use the miniature layout (menu icons in the left side of the screen) but if you don’t like it you can go to your settings page (gears icon) and uncheck the miniature layout option. It may be necessary to exit and enter in the dimension again.

Cheers!

Happy 2nd anniversary! Enjoy our new layout! Any comments, compliments, suggestions or problems please let us know.

We’d like to thank Fernando França who was responsible for 99% of RubySoccer visual transformation. It was worth the burger ;)

Cheers!

More nations will be constantly added, Jesus. Our plan is to add all South American and European nations before including other continents. Of course we may change our mind ;)

Interesting list, Turkey and Greece are already in our plans, I see Ukraine is a good candidate as well.

Nothing will be done for now, I don’t plan to make the board block these transactions, but maybe some kind of GM approval system…nothing will be done right away, don’t worry :)

Players won’t be transfered back to their teams unless we’re investigating the transaction for any reason. If player A was lost cause the contract ended or he was fired or sold by mistake or fired so his manager could make a proposal for player B that was put back on his previous team for possible cheating investigation we WON’T return player A to his team, no exceptions.

There is a known bug in the holiday mode where a player contract won’t be renewed if there are less than 12 turns left for the contract end when you entered holiday mode. Make sure you renew all contracts before using holiday mode as any players you lose in this situation WON’T be returned either.
