yes i agree. i was looking at some fixtures and noticed something quite odd.
in brazil div1 the only CPU team left in that div. i looked at the teams first two games and realized they won both games 12×0 and 10×0. thats kinda far fetched. on top of that, they took 44 shots… now i know it doesn’t compare to my 45shots that i just got this past tick :P but that seems kinda far fetched as well.
i also agree that ratings are definitely either too high or way too low. (from 10.0 to 0.1)

I was about to talk about the game engine, but i wasn’t sure where to put it (bugs or suggestions) as i’m sure you guys are aware that it needs tweaking. Browsing random matches i found a friendly between Bilbao and Barcelona where Bilbao had 41 shots lol. Im not saying it’s impossible, but it’s kinda unrealistic.
Player’s ratings have already been adressed, and they’re way too high. A couple of 10’s per match wouldn’t be that bad, even though imho it should only be used in some special cases.
Reading the “2 results for the same match” thread i got aware of the 6-0 that turned into a 10-0. Scores like that happen, i’m not denying it, but they’re rare, and usually are between a “Manchester-like” team against amateurs. We only have 2 divisions in each country here, so it seems way off to me.
I’m not sure where your main focus is right now in what matters to improvements, but besides the stuff that takes only a couple of minutes to implement, i think you should focus on the tactics and match engine. That’s what makes a football game great, after all. :)

just saw this was addressed in a “suggestion” message.
That’s mostly because we are ‘used’ to consider these things (tactics/formation and players) as different things in the game. So we set up the team’s formation, and the players were assigned to the positions we decided before.
Here, it’s much more like managerzone, I guess. The players themselves determine the team’s formation.

More attributes will certainly be added to that box somehow. About player numbering we’re not sure, but we’ll have a way to identify who is selected to the next match in the players screen.
We have history in the future, not only for teams, but also for players, transfers and so on.
Select all is already there, but it is called “invert selection”, it marks all unmarked and unmarks all marked messages…only the mark as read may be missing I guess.
Exactly Thiago, and when you create a new tactic it is not displayed right away, you must click on it before.
Had the same problem: you must create the tactic before saving, it’s different from what we had in Soccersim, which we could create a new tactic while we saved it.
How about a “select all” box (to check) and “mark as read”. Small things, great help

i think age and stamina is important to see on the formation screen. Sometimes we wish to set formations based on stamina.
How about Numbers for our players, when you put them in formation they get the number for that position.
Then if you could get these numbers to automatically show up in the ‘Players’ tab area we would be able to see who was playing next match easier and move people around easier.
Could maybe add more attributes like age to the box that opens when you move your mouse over a player in the formations area, I think adding age will be a good idea.

MS had a numeric attribute like our stamina as well, the ideia is the same.
The formation screen players are now sorted by its main attribute.

Stamina is the same as condition. In managersim, it could be regular, good, very good, superb…. Maybe we will have words for it someday. (is this a bug ? :) )

If my players play a game they’re condition should drop slightly before they rest and it improves.
Is there no condition in ruby soccer ?
