@Filipe: There is more to it with the youth system. Indirectly, changing the youth improvement system will hopefully have a positive effect on the transfer market. I think you understand why.

I think that team went Bankrupt. You can see this, because the 1st thing the cpu did after the manager got fired is put coaching to level 0.

Goodluck fixing this team with 0 money. Now in france this wouldn’t be a problem? The #1 ranking spot will give you tons of good youth. Pfff…..who needs money when they can just train there own player! Nothing more fun then that! Check out Le Havre or Angers. Both teams have about 10 french players who are 22 or younger. Some future potential stars are among them. This will give you a nice jump start on good overall players, without you having to do any scouting or what so ever!

Come enjoy the awesomeness of a #1 ranking country and feel the joy of training your OWN superstars just like Tigre :)

Funny to see this topic. I’ve instructed friends and others for years now that it’s a waste of money. It really is just very simple math :).

I did not know about the team ranking part though. Tobad, since I am not ranked #1 anymore like in the “old day’s”.

@Davison: Sorry to burst your bubble, but when did you win all season long? The highest spot you ever got in the premiere league was #4. You must understand, there are plenty of teams in the entire game who performed much better i.e. the teams who fisnished 1,2 and 3…….

Also going up in ranking takes years and years of cotinued succes. When I was ranked top 5 I had like 5-6 titles behind my name, lots of CL quaters/semi’s and 2 finals. It just takes time, since you need to do better then all the other teams to move up. There are teams out there that just keep evolving over time and always stay competative. You are now reforming you team yet again right? Doing it very drastically will make you lose your hard earned ranking points. I would advise you to do it more slowly. That way you can stay competative for longer periods of time and slowly move up in ranking, and also getting increased merchendising.

Hope this information helps!

Regards,
Sly

I see I have a friendly next instead of an official?

Is it possible to turn the tick times back to what they were? 14:00 CET would be league tick, not a “friendly” tick.

I noticed that I slowly began to reform, but because of this I lost my competative level. For the 2nd year in a row I couldn’t really get some decent results in CL, and I think I will only bring down our UEFA points total by being in there. So I think I need to step back and sell some older players.

I’ve listed my best 3 players, for perhaps some high prices. Maybe it’s because I have some emotional attachment to them i don’t know, but when I see some of the insane prices managers pay I think I should get some of that :)

Offcourse I’m willing to negociate. The players are:
Gabriel Escolar (89avr)

Position: MA 16-swap
Side: LC
Keeping: 29
Tackle: 76
Passing: 95
Shooting: 90
Speed: 94
Dribble: 87
Control: 92
Header: 92

José Dorneles (90avr)

Position: MA 16-swap
Side: L
Keeping: 31
Tackle: 81
Passing: 96
Shooting: 84
Speed: 99
Dribble: 89
Control: 88
Header: 91

Fábio Alvim (90avr)

Position: MA 16-swap
Side: R
Keeping: 33
Tackle: 80
Passing: 93
Shooting: 83
Speed: 90
Dribble: 94
Control: 95
Header: 94

Finally a chance to brag :)

I managed Middlesbrough in Eurotest. I did this for a real life period of about 4 years. When it shut down I was the #1 ranking manager in the game. I believe Rui Antunes was #2, he currently manages Valladolid in this game. My greates achivement was that I was obsessed with money management. One of the final years I lost the CL final again (from Rui antunes), I had a wage bill of 178k :). I earned 100 million each season :)

well, perhaps that’s what makes it so genious? He could say “well….. i let some superstars leave so I can’t be cheating”. If I would cheat, I wouldn’t make it that obvious either :)

LOL no no…….

3 mill is quite normal for players. Check the french teams. Plenty of teams there get 3-4mill value players. This is because we are ranked #1. It is still possible for other countries to also get these types of players, the chances are just lower. England simply is ranked very low

OMG, I thought I finally found a player from argentina who is awesome and has nothing to do with Tigre….

Antonio Islas……..
Position: A
Side: RC
Keeping: 37
Tackle: 86
Passing: 89
Shooting: 98
Speed: 100
Dribble: 99
Control: 100
Header: 100

44 20 265391 Transfered from Tigre to Eintracht Frankfurt
42 36 N/A From free transfers to Tigre

I think he’s doping his players or something :). Even when they leave they suddenly turn into superstars! :)

why would they? That’s hard work….and you don’t know if you can do it. In france…THE WORK IS DONE! Just sit back and enjoy the ride of the #1 tanking.

Who are you kidding here Filipe. France atm just has a strong backbone of managers, and we aren’t giving up that #1 spot any time soon :)

hey, I’ve been trying to find out his secret for some time now…… but I have no idea how he does it. It looks like the key is play players 90 min instead of subbing them in. He doesn’t ever sub players so it seems. Perhaps you should give that a try? I know it’s bullshit, since Gabriel said that all you need is 35 min for your players to get Experiance points. So… it shouldn’t matter how long they play, as long as it’s atleast 35 min.

On that note I would like to challange every manager to get the LAST POSSIBLE TEAM in france league 1.

Are you sick of playing vs just cpu’s?
Do you really like a challange?

Don’t look any further and join france there last possible team “Sedan”. It will be the ONLY LEAGUE in this game without a single CPU team opponent.

I hope to be playing you soon!

The intresting part here is if you look at ALL THE PLAYERS in rubysoccer. I meen the best of the best. There isn’t a single player with 93+ avr which does not have a Tigre history. I think, there are more managers in here who really like rubysoccer. Who also are or were addicted. Saying the Tigre manager is addicted and really spend time finding shit out is not very nice towards others. I have also spend my fair share of time figuring out how things work. I read every single change ever made and feel like I have a very good grasp of calculating things. What Tigre is doing is just rediculous……

I would like to ask any manager in this game now, if they have a 93+ avr player who is not Tigre related. The statistics here don’t lie. The probability of which Tigre is training players just is significantly higher then everyone elses. it’s just not very plausible. I meen, atleast 1 out of 100 active managers should have gotten lucky at some point in training a 95 avr players. It seems nobody just is, and that’s just not possible.

I think if you see some very well noted managers venting there doubts time and time again you should think “where there is smoke, there is fire”. I think it’s time I share something with the rest of the community. Danilo, do you remember that you made a change in this game and people had there passwords reset? Because of another change, you also made sure you couldn’t register to rubysoccer with a hotmail account. My problem at the time was, that i was registered with a hotmail account and because of that I could not retrieve my new password. I also could not change my e-mail adres myself because I couldn’t log in. I asked you for help on skype. You then helped me out by changing my password as an admin. Which was very kind of you to do. I’m guessing you logged into my account or did something right? Now comes the very strange part. After you helped me out I tried to buy a player from Tigre and got the following message:“Same PC or network negotiation is not allowed”

I’m pretty darn sure the manager from Tigre (Alessandro Figueira ) lives on the other side of the planet! I e-mailed gabriel about it, and he said an entry of same ip was made with Tigre manager the exact day you fixed my e-mail problem. Could you explain this for me and perhaps for the entire Rubysoccer community?

SHOT stopping power for Alexsander Martins: (83*0,6)(100*0,4) = 89,8
SHOT stopping power for Andrea Bellesia: (91*0,6)
(94*0,4) = 92,2

All I can say is LOL…….it’s no suprize to people that this player is with Tigre and comes from his acadamy :)

Gabriel, no offence but players like this shouldn’t be in this game. I don’t consider it very realistic that this happens……

Why go there, when you can build your own french team with acadamy players? France is #1 RANKING country in this game world and isn’t moving from that spot anytime soon. We are always contenders with 4 teams for a CL title and the EL has been in french hands for the past 10 SEASONS!

Are you looking for a challange? Do you like messing around with tactics to find that one edge? Look no further and sign up for any free team in france! You are garanteed to get the best players in the game possible from your own youth acadamy. Combine this with the fact france is the hardest and strongest competition in europe and perhaps the entire game world.

ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLANGE?

I always based my succes on just the total package of stats. It seems I value my own players higher then the community does. I there for lowered the prices on all players. Let me give you a list of there avr stat lvl and prices to make it easier:

Virginio Costa – 93 avr skill: 9 mill (has 1 season left in him before retirement)
Tiago Silva – 90 avr skill: 24 million
Léo Fortin – 89 avr skill: 14.5 mill
Gustavo Nolasco – 89 avr skill: 23.5 mill
Silas Negreiros – 88 avr skill: 19.5 mill
Tiago Saleiro – 88 avr skill: 19.5 mill
Sylvestre Derrien – 87 avr skill: 19 mill

With these players the game valued my team as 1 of the strongest in europe. Sadly enough I let my board down for CL. Gratz Man U for winning that.

Expectations (Brest)

Ligue 1 Fight for the title
Coupe de France Reach the final
International Reach the final

I’m selling some oldies to make room for up and coming acadamy players.

Prices very fair when looking at the quality of the player. All the players have decent primary stats and 85+ secondaries. It’s the only kind of players I like :)

Do some digging to make sure the new manager wasn’t a ghost account for cheating? It’s the 1st sign of cheating, when a manager joins a team and spend all his money just to quickly leave quick after.

I don’t totally agree, I was on 1% with my brest. I was stuck in league 2 and I made a choice to stay there and loan out my already decent players to be able to play those really crap players I couldn’t loan out. Because I figured I needed 11 decent players and not 3-4. So because of that extra year I had the time to ready devellop those shitty players and I loaned out the decent ones. Then I had like 6-7 good players which was good enough to promote in combination with 4-5 other talents. Then when going to league 1 I had that decent team to be competative right away.

It can be a good choice to loan out players and devellop those really low ones yourself with officials. We all know how slow youth players grow :(

Sleep well with the thought, that most managers that have done strange or fishy deals never actually win anything in europe. It’s usually the same good and in my opinion honoust managers that do well in the european cups. I can’t say anything about the south america cups…..
