Not working here either.

My salaries cost me $934,947. I also only spend half of the wage limit. I don’t think it’s too high but you need to play matches in all 3 competitions.
CL matches gave me lots of profit but in the period without I have to manage my salaries. That’s one of the aspects that make the game interesting. It’s a manager game after all.
Cheers
I thought you wil get points for a 10 level on each department when you win league, cup, CL and Club world cup. If you don’t you can compensate a little with cash left.
I won the league, cup and semis in cl and had around 125M left. I start with 1 investment point and some departments were decreased.
How it works exactly only Gabriel or Danilo can tell us I guess. :)
I don’t see why we should get rid of real life clubs. At the moment most managers take a look at the players and not at the name of the club. Ok, some managers want to play with Barcelona, Real Madrid or Manchester United but nowadays these ‘famous reallife clubs’ are not the big clubs in rubysoccer. In England you have Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion, in Spain you have Elche and Racing Club Ferrol, and so on. So why do you need fantasy names?
I do think it’s more important for a footbal game you don’t have reallife players like Ronaldo or Messi because then you have only 1 of them. In Ruby you have lots of topstrikers and I don’t mind mine names Roscoe. I just need a topstriker.
Most important to get this game back on track is to fix the economy. Nowadays the market is static. Why selling your topstriker if you loose the money anyway because there isn’t an alternative on the market. Managers give millions for a single player because they know they shouldn’t manage their cash at all. If the market is fixed the game will be more dynamic again and more attractive. New managers will come and stay.
The management department are good in my opinion but there need to be another concept for the money. Contractclauses are one thing but they won’t fix the whole economy system.
I want to pay for this game to unlock more features like a more specific scouting department , a better youth training or additional playerspots available in your squad.
I also agree with Jorge you could make the youths more random. They can rely on the countryranking but not for 100%. In real life England is a topleague but they don’t have many good youths. Belgium is a small league but they have a golden period for youths.
I’ve written enough for the moment…Other opinions?
Very strange indeed.
You still have 23 players so who is the player that wasn’t selected at all?
Btw. Friso Rijvers, can he still stand on his feet with stamina 18 :)
It’s not a bug. The club who loaned the player is free to refuse. In your case he’s loaned to a cpu so you will have to miss him till the loan has ended. A cpu won’t answer your termination request.
When my CL campaign has ended I’m gonna sell some of my players.
So be prepared :)
Yeah I know, for a serious injury like pattelar tendinitis 9 turns is a joke. It has to be at least 20 turns. ;-)
Have you entered? You have to use the green plus and name your new formation. Afterwards you have to enter to confirm.
Looks like you have an optimistic scout Filipe. :) My level 10 scouts give him “only” 94 tackle. Looks like the scouts agree on the total points level, but not on how they are divided on each skill.

Having a lot of money at turn 144 which is gone the turn after is a result of the transfermarket which is pretty dead at the moment and people won’t sell players in the 2nd half of the season because they have lost the player and their money at the end of the season.
There need to be a possibility to use the money the season afterwards. If you still have money left at turn 144 of season 1 you could use it in season 2 together with the money you get from the board for season 2. The money from season 1 that isn’t used at the end of season 2 will be gone. The part of the money left you got from the board at the beginning season 2 you can use in season 3 and so on.
To give a concrete example : if you have 500M left at the end of season 1 and you get 200M from the board at the beginning from season 2 you have 700M to spend in season 2. If you only have spend 400M at the end of season 2 you will still have 200M for season 3 and 100M (500M-400M spend) will be gone. etc
When you sell a player the received money will be added at the money from the season in which he is sold.
This way managers have to use there money.
But there also need to come some contractclauses to bring the market back alive.
In theory I guess this suggestion could work and people won’t be frustrated their money is gone at the end of the season.
There’s a bug with the replacements in the international team games. Mark Welch replaces Brodie every match although welch isn’t selected anymore. It’s the fact against Switzerland and again against Turkey. Gabriel, can you take a look.
Sorry Rui, it was a horrible tackle of Machado which broke Gaona’s leg. Well deserved red card for my player. He desperately wanted to show his coach he was ready for the basic 11. Especially when he could play against the strongest team in the league. I hope he learned to control himself in the future. :-)
I couldn’t help Brody told me during the national team meeting he felt sorry for his best friend and wanted to keep him company in the recovery room. He accidentally bruised him arm.
You’re just lucky. A higher level in Physio only speed up the healing process of injuries.
I think I know which superstar you meant. :) A midfielder?
interested
Sly, it works because Gabriel put the values back. The values will disappear again when the new scouting system will be added and the script will be down once again.
I still have 2 questions:
- Will the the new scouting report work for all players? Transferlisted or not?
- Will it make you able to scout the potential of your own youth academy players? I hope not because only crap players will be on the (free) transferlist.
First of all, Gabriel and Danilo, the new economy looks great. The reset was the only way to make the new economy system work.
Sly, I’ll have an example for you when you are doing bad. In mediumticker I have been relegated this new season. I now have no single board point to spend this season and my transferbudget is 14M. So I’m happy I already had chosen the players to build my new team. :) It would be hard to build it from zero now.
Before I had 400M in the bank.
Have you selected a player or "best position? Otherwise you will only change the position of the player on the field.
I’m selling all my experienced players to rebuild my team.
The best of them is Alberico Maciel, a 90 average midfielder. The highest bid will win although the transferprice of 200M is always welcome :)
Take a look:

My goalkeeper asks a wage of 107k. His previous wage was 62k. I agree something had to be done to balance the economy but to almost double wages is the right solution? At the moment it looks like it but in the future?
We will only loose cash in the coming seasons. I’m hardly break even after a home and away match now. After 2-3 seasons most teams would have to sell players to avoid bankruptcy. Charles, selling players for 2-3-4 Million doesn’t make a difference if you have to pay 60M and more for a good player.
We’ll miss you in Spain. Good luck in Holland.
Btw I was Cpu already bought a new goallie for almost 178M :D
Great players for sale in Malaga! Take a look: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/team_players/389
Malaga is selling some veterans. They will be first team players in my teams and otherwise they will give your team extra quality for sure.

Almonacid received a red card in the international game with Spain against France. He didn’t play the next match against Turkey. Now he still has the red card behind his name for the final against England.
Can a player be suspended for 2 matches?
Malaga is selling 3 A-teamplayers for almost every team and an experienced striker. In also need space to train new youngsters. In case of more bids, the highest bid wins.

I agree with Charles. There are only a few 90+ avr players left. In the old days you had 95 primary skill players with 95+ secondary skills. Now you it’s very tough to find such a player. The 100 primary skill players are also more scarce then before. It makes the game more realistic.
I think the stale marked is a result of this new skill balance. People don’t want to sell there good players because they can’t find a replacement. When you are able to convince them, you have to play way too much money. A problem created by the cpu transfers i think. They give unrealistic high amount of money for average players.
I think the admins must find a way to create a flow in players moving from one team to another. Contract clauses could be a start. Players who want to play games in stead of sitting on the bench; Players who want to play in another competition;… Managers would be forced to sell and buy players.
I got this message “Aitor Altamirano has returned from América de Cali. He has missed more official matches than allowed by contract.”
It’s great CPU teams loan our players but IMO they only need to loan them if they will use the players. Altamirano could miss 6 matches and there are hardly 6 matches played this season. It’s not what I would consider as a loan. Why loan a player and pay his wage if you don’t need him.
My best defender was also injured in an international friendly just before my CL match. I was glad I won the first match with 4-0 so I didn’t really need him.
He was injured for 3 turns…luckily there were no important games in this period.
It’s annoying Charles but I guess we have to deal with it. It’s the first time one of my 3 internationals get hurt in an international friendly.
