Hi,
For players to improve, in the previous post linked below, you clarified that a player must play 35 minutes.
http://rubysoccer.com/forums/1/topics/3019#posts-18791
However, in this post, you said a player will improve if he is subbed in at 65 minutes or before. That is only 25 minutes in a 90 minute game.
Thanks,
Hmmm, that was never in the todo list. Maybe it’s worth adding something like that for such cases, but then there is no issue in subbing these players after 65, it’s just they won’t improve :-P
65 minute mark I think?
Problem is that (afaik) it is not possible to have a rule ‘Substitute when ahead 2 goals at minute 65, but not after that’.
Is that still at the to do list, Gabriel?
That is cool mate!
My guy’s skills have started decreasing. Don’t think he can increase skills??
I played him in over 10 games, so it seems like a lost cause. I should have played other younger players instead.
I like that idea, very good.
I remember though, that a player must play 35 minutes to receive all the benefits from playing the game. Not sure I’ve been up 2 goals at the 75 minute mark in many games.
thanx gabriel
have a good day
At the moment you can only attempt one forced transfer every 6 turns, regardless of the players’ club or league.
Is it possible for me to make more than one forced contract to separate players in the same turn
– assumption: lets say those players are from different teams playing in different leagues
Example of a good player that simply never got enough playing time to reach his potential
Those players are perfect for smaller teams who want to build a good squad cheaply – although it does take some effort to give those players some field time in the beginning
Happened to me with my GK in fast. Had never played a match before his 30s, got him on free transfer. Now he plays for England national squad…

My strategy is to give youngsters some playing time when the match is already won (e.g. ahead by 2 goals) and get them to slowly improve until they are good enough to attract interest from a CPU team to loan them
He’s 89 passing, but rated D
So I cant sell him because hes a D.
I cant play him, cause he wont get better. Will just release him I guess.
This was an issue which was mentionned before. The skill decrease after 30 was there from the very beginning of the game. The different improve profiles came later. So players with a profile of full improvement on 30 were already loosing their skills again.
It has been fixed by the devs a couple of seasons ago but only for new players.
Since you’re playing in mediumticker there will be older players that still have this crazy improve profile.
Be happy you have such a player. They will be extinct in short notice. ;-)
There is nothing you are doing wrong, the player is probably not good enough for most cpu teams who are looking for this position. That is another thing to notice, each cpu team will be looking for the position they believe they need the most at the moment.
Hi, so I’ve got this player who my Coaches report says
This player is unlikely to reach his full potential before his 30s
I got him at 30. Unfortunately, his main skill is now 11 points below his Evolution stage report.
Even more unfortunately, his skills are decreasing, he lost a point on his main skill.

So will you fix the coaches reports to say “this player cant reach his full potential ever, so your scout report was wrong, and your other coach report was wrong, waste of time to deal with this horrible player”
Hi, so
http://rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/842722
C player, Estimated value 4.2mil, wage is 8k
Am selling him for 2.5mil, what am I doing wrong?
I like the idea of having deals with lower class clubs so you can send some players to play there. In the meantime I try to loan them out and I am usually successful, but for the ones that are too weak I give them some match time against weaker opponents.
It changed relatively recently when different cpu teams started having different behaviours. There are some further changes planned to be done in the new year where cpu teams will look into managed teams players first, if the price is fair. In the meantime it is not always possible to sell D players or worse, usually C or higher sell more easily.
How do big clubs give younger players playing time? Loan them out? What do they do for back up goal keepers? There must be lower leagues they can send them to, related clubs they have deals with. Can we do that?
If i spend 20mil on a player…i dont want a horrible player.
I dont want to get a negative trait.
I dont want a lame positive trait either.
How can u put in a low skill goalkeeper? They bleed goals and losses.
Hi,
I got some young players who were worth a bit. Unfortunately, the scout report said they were horrible.
So i waited 72 turns as no team wanted to loan them from me.
How do i sell them?
I got a couple guys woth 3.5 mil, selling for 2 mil, but no team has put in an offer.
Any advice? When did selling players change?
Regards,
Yeah, I feel the same way. Sometimes a player had a single great match then was sold, but he remain in that list for the rest of the season. I’ll add this fix to our tasks.
Can we change the average rating to players that have played at least 9/10 matches? When you go into it and look at Top Scorers and Assists in any country it can be misleading as some players have played 2 matches and have ratings of 9.0.
Both my goalkeepers have a negative trait “bad on pk”. He stays one of the best gk in fastticker. So I don’t consider it as worse in league competition or international matches with home and return. My strikers only need to score one more goal. :-)
I only consider it as negative in Cl Final or Club world cup when it comes to penalty kicks after 90’. I have lost them on pk’s.
You may have noticed some CPU teams have more than the limit of 40 players in their squads. This was due to a bug that has now been fixed, CPU teams will respect the same limit of players human managed teams have, even if it changes in the future. Of course that any teams currently above the limit will remain so until they sell their exceeding players, but they won’t be able to hire/loan additional players in the meantime.
The field image is misleading, I grant you that. The GK mark in there is only correct if you’re looking at the heat map for the home team. In other words, for the home team the defenders should be at the bottom and the attackers at the top, for the visitor it’s the other way around.
Maybe we could have directed training in the future to remove negative traits?
Do you really think “bad at saving PKs” is that bad at the moment? PKs need serious re-working IMO as at the moment there are way too many saves.
I’ve wasted 60 on such players! Lol, I hate when keepers have bad at saving penalty kicks, keeper becomes useless then to me.
I dont want to spend 20 million on a player who then develops a shit negative trait and/or a positive trait that isnt that good.
It just ruins the player.
It just ruins my money.
It just ruins my team.
Hi,
are the heat maps back to front?
My attackers are all spending their time at the end where the GK is shown.
My defenders are all spending their time at the other end, opposite to where the GK is shown.
