Congrats guys, CL final is 100% french (with Brest in EL).
French monster is still alive !
As I said EPL is a diferent league from every other, every team has a huge number of fans and they are fanatic for their team whatever they perform. If you see any other league that doesn’t happen. Here’s some stats from Portuguese league last season:
1st position FCPorto
stadium: 50k , average attendance: 35.379 (70,20%)
2nd position SLBenfica
stadium: 65k , avarage attendance: 36.531 (56%)
3rd position SportingCP
stadium: 50k , avarage atendance: 23.153 (46,26%)
4th position SCBraga
stadium: 30k , avarege attendance: 13.605 (44,92%)
10th position Leiria
stadium: 23k , avarage attendance: 2.297 (9,92%)
16th position Naval
stadium: 9,5K , avarage attendance: 1.526 (16,11%)
Regarding Carpegiani Paulo, it’s better to keep cheaters on our radar and hope they’ve learned their lessons than to ban their users and have to track a newly created cheating user.
Let’s keep an eye at Alencar Mentges…
I have too cheap but good players, take a look.
If you find better players for cheaper price tag or equal, let me know.
English Premier League, Man City.
/BK
Heheh Filipe, maybe people are not interested in helping you develop your players anymore, could be they are tired of you dominating EPL?! :)
Another star from the gold generation for sale, Luís Lopers, one of the most important pieces of Manchester’s success… this 96 shooting defender or midfielder can be the player you need for a great strike team, check his stats and see for yourself :D
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/player_info/144017
agreed with davison. Alencar Mentges has been caught in the past cheating… no surprise if he starts again…
i think a financial reward should go to cup winners, and league winners ect also think that if a manager has invested money into a stadium and for that to be for nothing why even have the fuckn option. so make it usefull and like real life where fans show up to games regardless of the TABLE position. i know for 1st hand account as a Sunderland Fan
keep an eye on the only manager in chile. he offered me 50m for klos and yet he sells equal players for 100m and a shitty player he has listed for 60m and he wasnt even willing to pay 67-70m for a player i marked down 20m just for him in order to negotiate. he sells crap players and ppl buy them at ridiculous prices. maybe if he had skill he would manage a team in a league WITH human managers
I am in holiday, and i cant put my team on vacation…
And a great team that other manager deserve without cheating…
Why is Carpegiani Paulo allowed to return right away and pick up a team?
I agree that a “1 strike and your out” kind of deal might be a bit too harsh, but seriously? this guy was fired by admins for cheating, and yet comes right back a few days later and picks up another team…
Lots for Sale here at Sunderland, lots of youth
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/team_players/166
He probably used the formation he normally uses for friendlies, either by mistake, or cause he thought he would lose anyway and wanted to improve the young players.
AGOVV 76000. I think their attendancce is 97%.
Who’s got the biggest stadium in RS?
I have seen:
Vitória’s 98,500 (impriving to 99,500),
Tigre’s 84,000,
Hertha’s 77,000,
Chacarita’a 76,000 (improving to 77,000)
Fluminense’s 75,600 (improving to 76,600),
São Caetano’s 75,000,
Grêmio’s 74,000 (improving to 76,000).
is there any others that I am missing?
does anyone know waht the % of attendance is for this season (League/Home) of the teams with the biggest stadium,
We all know that having a huge stadium is not the best investment.
Here is the example with the team from RS with the biggest stadium.
Brazil’s Vitoria:
they have played 17 home matches the lowest attendance is at the first season Home match with a total of 53,301 (54.11%) and the High of 96,420 (97.88%) after winning the first 4 home matches of the season, the average of the season is 73,275 (74.39%).
(if you want prove of the numbers please let me know I will send them to you.
In Real Life you are never going to have 88% of attendance for all teams.
After the first leg of the quarter finals of the Coupe de France (season 29) Angers won Lille 3-2 with a match that Angers dominated, the second Leg, it was a different story, “something” happened that things changed completely, the result was 22-0!!! in favor of Lille http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/1532934
It is apparent that Angers used all young players and used an unusual formation (4-2-4) and also used an AD with 66 Keeper rating, most strange is that this is the first time that Shawn Larsson uses this formation.
I know there might not be nothing wrong with this but I just found it odd.
ADO Den Haag: http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/team_players/647
The first team has an average of about 85 points. That’s nothing special. However, it has also an average age of less than 23 years, so they will become stronger. If you want to develop a top team, it’s a good choice!
I’m not a big fan of the grade feature, as I don’t see the use of it. Maybe I’m missing something though. Is there anyone who finds it useful?
Even though we have a system to reverse transfers it is only good for some particular cases, for others it involves a lot of manual processes, that’s why we usually don’t do that. I’ll improve that so we undo these things in the future, this particular one unfortunately will stay as it is.
I’m affraid he doesn’t look like the improvement I’m looking for compared to my current goalkeeper. It would only be a small upgrade at best :(
take a look at my 27 year old
You did well supporting your suggestion with stats but you the team and league you are not the ideal if you want to show what happens in real life in most leagues… Any EPL team has a huge number of fans and fans in EPL can’t be compared to any other league…
Also note that West Ham has a relatively small stadium for the fans they have, the same happens in RubySoccer with small stadium teams, even if they are the last in the league if their stadium is small they still will have nice attendance… For those who want to have a 100k stadium they must be sure they will always be in the first positions or they wont ever have full attendance.
Also, I think gamewise it’s a good idea to have a financial bonus for doing well.
Apart from that Soccersim doesn’t have to be a mirror from real life, your statistics just say something about fans of West Ham United.
Anyway, I took a small sample too, ADO Den Haag
07/08 Second League, 5118 average attendance.
08/09 32 points in First League, 10852
09/10 30, 11745
10/11 54 13530
Last season was the highest average ever for them.
50+ pm me :)
i agree with dimitri, if the transfers are not legit and are the reason why the manager was fired, they should be reversed.
52mil for a 35yr old is way too much considering the teams involved…
The details of all the EPL home matches for Westham United is given below: (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010%E2%80%9311_West_Ham_United_F.C.season#PremierLeague)
the below data only includes the Premier league matches and does not include cup games …

7 May 2011 West Ham United 1 – 1 Blackburn Rovers
Attendance: 33,789
22 May 2011 West Ham United 0 – 3 Sunderland
Attendance: 32,792
This suggesstion only applies to first and second divison league matches.
As we know, the crowd attendance curently fluctuates in accordance with the teams position in the league standings. But I was curious to check if this does really happen in Real life ??
I took West Ham as a case study from EPL 2010/2011 season and got the following figures…. (inludes only home matches)
Stated Stadium Capacity : 35303 (source Wikipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boleyn_Ground)
Max Attendance : 34,941 (Vs Liverpool 27th feb 2011)
Min Attendance : 31194 (Vs Blackpool 13th nov 2010)
Avg Attendance : 33492
Median Value : 33422
Minimum Attendance as a percentage of stadium capacity = 88%
This does show that the fans never stop watching their teams play even when they are not winning.
I hope we take some measures to correct this unrealistic implementation in RS, which does not provide any new manager to take a team performing badly and work his/her way upwards…
im not saying attendance should always be static, it should change from game to game, but the current implementation is far off any realistic basis. (Assuming the current implementation is correct, there should be no one watching the second tier league matches) ….
