You are right Dave, Felix and some other known guys have been cheating for a long time in the game. We figure that some time ago, the thing is we had to make a decision, ban their accounts and hope they quit cheating or quit the game, we risk they don’t quit and come back with new accounts starting all again, this time more careful and hard for us to detect. Or as we did, implement the reputation system so everyone could know they are cheaters, I agree we should have more penalties for low reputation managers (not manager big teams, national teams…).
I think the decision was right, at least this way we can keep an eye on them, multiple accounts have been abandoned, suspicious transfers stoped, and guess what, they started to perform bad lol
As you said I also can’t understand why this guys cheat at a free and under development game, is as they want the game to fail or something… Yet as it seems cheaters wont get out we must find the better and the smarter ways to deal with them, suggestions are welcome as Gabriel always says :D

Whould it be possible to be warned when a player form my hotlist is on the free transfer? It probably wont be that hard to do as we already have the warning for transfer listed players…
Who knows what he’s thinking, he’s here since almost ever and we tried to explain to him it doesn’t matter the amount of money because there is no connection with the real life money. He cant understand that if there is 100Billions in the game and a player is worth 50M, than with 200Billions in the game that same player is worth 100M…
If you haven’t notice both selling keepers just improved their speed. Paiva improved 1 point, Delcroix 3 making 100 speed :D
Many offers have come but no one seems to be willing to pay the prices I ask, I admit they have high prices but the fact is you wont find keepers like this at the market, they are listed for teams that fight for everything and want to continue fighting, if you don’t plan to do that don’t need a keeper like this, there are many weaker ones for a much lower price…
The real question is what happend with Philipp Leibeck, he was kicked out of Heartha for inactivity, that Felipe Santos team destroyer is now preparing to shatter another team apart lol
As so the transfer window is, a manager staring a team from zero would need to be online every turn on that window or he wouldn’t do much… Perhaps here we should not reproduce the real life model, I would have no problem with a transfer window but new guys don’t spend as much time in the game as we do, and If they can’t make transfers at most of that time probably wont be so motivated…
The problem here is that not everyone comes to the game every day as we do, we should only try this with a large transfer window or many managers would be out of the market getting it even harder to deal. About the inflated prices I think we should let the market work, if people feel they can sell those players for that price let them have it, if they really want to sell they will have to lower it, don’t see any need to change anything there, we just need to be careful with cheaters, the big ones are identified already but there are many others out there…
The increasing ticket sales would not have the effect you predict, big teams will also benefit from it and there would simply be more money in the game but the difference between big and smaller teams would be the same, if not bigger as we know bigger teams usually have more experienced managers who would invest that money better than the smaller ones…
Davison the good thing seems to be that no one cares about what you think anymore, for much that we try to explain to you how much of those things work you simply prefer to assume they are all wrong because you can’t get good results of them… No solution will ever be good enough for you I’m afraid…

Really? the French thing again? Neither I was condescending neither you need to defend or whatever you are doing every time someone talks about a French team… I know his tactic worked better than mine against SU, but the SU wing players have already a 3 points disadvantage for playing as mids, that could be even worse after a sequence of league, cup and uefa matches with the same players.

Well my over 31 team also didn’t dominated the game against him too, I though having more players in the center would make a diference but seems not, Grenoble on the other hand managed to get a good result with wing players, some of it probably due to SU stamina low levels after so many matches with the same squad…

Two great keepers for sale, both still improving but already great keeping and speed skilled (most important ones). I was improving 3 keepers to make sure one of them would be good enough to replace Borges but it seems they all can be as good as him, lucky me its time to make some money :D
Prices wont change much because this are top quality keepers, the kind you need if you’re thinking of fighting for the big leagues, the kind you wont find elsewhere too…

The result is quite unrealistic and this 4-2-4 tactic may be usefull for the admins to improve the game engine in the future but there are some factors to be considered to explain the result… IMO still wont explain a 5 goals difference but that could be luck playing against you…
a) your keeper is not that great yet and, as all your team, suffers from the away disadvantage, IMO a weak keeper explains almost every weird result we see in the game, for a team to have consistent resusts in RS must have a really great keeper
b) passing skill has very low importance in the match engine, any team with 70 passing average can get a 90% passing accuracy so it explains how SU low passing defenders made so many good long passes.
c) the defenders playing as mids is something I’ve been using and getting good results too, usually I use DM or mids with great tackle but many defenders can play great too in home matches, that Jason Watts helped the defense a lot in the side where you had more attackers
d) 2 of the 4 SU’s strikers played -1 positions, they probably tackled your mids many times and you can see both made many successful tackles, as all his team did…
The scouting level only determines how much turns you must wait to do another search, the search result is the same if you have level 1 or 10… If you use the search engine very often than you should have a good level there, if not its a waste of money. To get better results you must change the requirements of the search, it will always find the 100 lowest valued players for the requirements you ask, if you ask for any player with more than 60 tackle the results will be shitty no doubt…
I use the script but care no attention to the average skill, almost every position in the field doesn’t require some skills so even if a player has those skills at 60 he can be a good one… It can be useful if you want to determine how the game evaluate your team as I think it does that by the average skills of a determined number of players…
Also I think this script more like a price for active managers that take the time to check our forums so should continue to be allowed and not implemented in the game IMO…
Felix I’m not sure about what you meant with that post but I can tell you I never needed any favour or change to win anything in this game, neither I needed cheating, the same can’t be said about you…
If the expectations are based on team history this should be changed so the more reason for this topic. Anyway I won’t be saying anything more about this unless Gabriel need my opinion, wont be insulted because of a simple game…
That’s true Parag but with time (as Vaughn said some 7 to 10 seasons) country ranking also influence national teams, as a country get higher in ranking the better are the youths formed in there so in time the better the national team probably gets, mostly in a country with many human managers that explore all the good youths so they don’t end career without full improvement.
Although, country ranking doesn’t matter for the board expectations and I don’t know how they are formed as I think Gabriel never revealed it, so for some reason France National team expectations dropped and remained really too low some 7 seasons now.
I think a better way to form board expectations (for national teams) is needed, maybe include an mesure of the country ranking of 5 to 10 seasons ago… Or this can be only my obsession with France talking as Sly pointed :P
I didn’t say anything like that, as strange as you may think not everything I say is against France, read my post carefully :P If the board expectations for France National team was realistic Felix would have been kicked long time ago and maybe some other manager could get some title with it, as you can see he’s been there 6 seasons already and only won an Eropean Cup… I’m guessing some other managers would do better with a team like that, hell even I would :D
Also to be noticed the previous manager was kicked after losing in the WC semi-finals so for some reason the National Board lowered the expectations, French players have been getting better since long before that so I can’t understand how this can be, my only explanation is that the expectation is taking in consideration the latest performances of the team but if that’s so the only thing Felix has to do is keep making it to the semi-finals and always lose there lol
6 seasons number 1 in the ranking, before that France was already in the top by long. Anyway, if you check both teams you wont find that much diference and you can say it it fair for the French board to only ask the quarter-finals of their manager…
Season 57 I managed Brazil and my board’s objective for the world cup was to reach the final, I knew I would only keep the place If won the cup so its not strange I’ve been fired. My surprise was to see France manager also losing in the semi-final and keeping his job. If I’m correct than France’s objectives for the world cup was only to reach the quarters lol This for a country for some 6 or so seasons in the first position of the country ranking… Some fixing probably is needed here :D
England has not yet comparison with France, when I started with Manchester there was only one great team there and Dhimiter quit Liverpool leaving the league for me, this days there are many teams with title aspiration, this season I was 2nd for most of it and only get the title because I was out of CL sooner than expected, I could end like 4th in EPL and probably make a much better CL but in my eyes there would not be any managing if I didn’t try to get them all… As result of that England made the worst score since a long time now and all the work before was compromised, lets see now with Dhimiter back in the fight if we can get it right :D
No doubt the monster is still alive, as Sly said the high number of good managers has no equal in any country but it seems to me that on France managers care more about country ranking than their own success… We see every season teams with great european performances that end up in the latest positions of the league, that I think is the most important factor, in other countries teams always fight blindly for every competition…
A new argument for you cause Parag but I think it is not a good solution yet, new managers would not be that affected by this as you think, they probably wouldn’t even notice the difference so it would not be taken in consideration for them to leave the game, to avoid that we must search for solutions else than make the game easier, it gets easier for them but it gets to much easy for the older ones…
As for the managers winning the leagues for ages argument this wouldn’t be good neither, most of those managers are the ones with crazy stadiums so if they get full stadium every match they would even be stronger and the gap betwin them and the weaker ones would grow…
I agree with you about the start of season, at the season begin every team should have the same attendance…
As I said EPL is a diferent league from every other, every team has a huge number of fans and they are fanatic for their team whatever they perform. If you see any other league that doesn’t happen. Here’s some stats from Portuguese league last season:

You did well supporting your suggestion with stats but you the team and league you are not the ideal if you want to show what happens in real life in most leagues… Any EPL team has a huge number of fans and fans in EPL can’t be compared to any other league…
Also note that West Ham has a relatively small stadium for the fans they have, the same happens in RubySoccer with small stadium teams, even if they are the last in the league if their stadium is small they still will have nice attendance… For those who want to have a 100k stadium they must be sure they will always be in the first positions or they wont ever have full attendance.
Lopéz is leaving, now Meireles has been listed, this veteran stricker is still one of the best in the game and an ensurance for those who are still fighting for the high places :D

Not weird at all, Sedan players have no stamina, player skills are influenced by player stamina so this guys probably are playing with 40 average skills or something. I am against this kind of player improvement, it is not realistic and it makes the game too predictable… Fortunetly this will stop when the game grows and we have more managers, people would not do that if they were scared of losing their team by bad performance, right now there are not enouf managers for all the jobs available…
Gabriel fired Carpegiani Paulo and banned (for good) the fake accounts Pahlo Terroa and Antonio Fernando. Can’t say if it is possible to undo the transfers but it has not been done with past cheaters so probably wont be with this one.
If you guys see more suspicious transactions let them be known, it is the best way to fight this crappy managers that poison the game.
