I think if you tune it so that the attackers can’t do those “superhero tricks”, the number of shots will significantly decrease !
I checked some replays and found a bad sign, maybe even a bug, at least in replay – attacking players can shoot on goal through defenders. This means defenders can tackle attackers and win the ball…but they cannot prevent the attacker to shoot right after getting the pass. This is a bug. I suggest making it impossible to make a shot on goal without losing any time after getting the ball. This will also have an effect on passing.

I think we need the match engine to become more balanced and decrease the average number of goal shots at least for 50%. I also think that defenders should better steal the ball and a team with great defenders should not allow more than 5-10 shots against it. This season I have very good defense but experience lots of shots on my goal, that’s unrealistic, considering that my defenders have 90+ tackle and 80+ speed and control.

I don’t like that almost all field players chase the ball inside this 3 squares width. I want more complex tactics to be used, I need fast wingers, great crossers, defenders like Roberto Carlos, which can run through the whole field and be a real threat to the opponent’s GK.
What about granting access to a very small test server, probably with 1 league, for a fixed amount, 10-15$ per month to testers who want to reach success in tactical questions ?
The difference should be the number of ticks – very many…or in ability to make own ticks. For example, a dimension with only 2 teams, both available for 1 tester, who will be able to set the team and click “tick”. And check the game replay ;) Hmm…maybe each 5 test games should cost 5$ ? If you don’t like the term “cost”, it can still be just donations to support the main server.

For example, I tried to send LC and RC forward left and right, with medium shooting and normal passes, but…not many header goals.
I mean, it just didn’t work as I thought in real life would.
The problem is we know that our players are doomed to lose their skills starting at the age of 31. This is psychology: “Ahha, my great all-round MC will decrease skills in 1 season, I need to get rid of him now…”
People sale great players to acquire promising youths. But I think in a couple of seasons all of us will be full of very good young players. And the whole dimension will be filled with stars. WHy ? Because currently it is enough to play 30 minutes in a friendly match to improve. I think if it were more difficult to improve without playing many many official matches, we wouldn’t face this problem soon. Or even ever !
I think there should be an official “tool”. Nowadays if we want to swap players, especially good one (why swap bad ones ?), we have to transfer list them and buy. So we make the transfer price high, like 20M or more, to prevent other teams to “intercept” a player. But the game’s value system takes transfer prices into consideration, such swap deals with 2 players transferred for 50M each will increase the average value of every player in the dimension.
I also think it would be easier if the newspaper could cover all transfers and deals, also if team history showd us all transfers of the club in last 150-200 ticks. Nothing is better in finding cheat than the opinion of other managers, though sometimes they make wrong accusations.

Pay 795k wage per week to a player worth 70k ! As the wages are paid and never return, this beats the inflation by 35M a year !

It was very exciting ! I’ve just counted, this season in 380 matches 1045 goals were scored. That means 2.75 goals a match. Previous season wasn’t that rich – only 635 goals and 1.67 goals a match average.

Well, why should the formula be dynamic ? It wont fight the inflation and will not affect wages and merchandise. So I don’t think it is good to take the transfers into consideration. The market is rather free today – clubs with money buy worthy players. And looks like everyone is getting richer and richer all the time, maybe not Cruciuma in FT, lol =)
But expensive players should exist. Ones like Zidane, Figo, Sheva, Vieri. Once you buy one of superstars, you get media attention, merchandise money, full stadiums…
By the way, don’t you think that it should be a bit harder to fill the stadiums ? Mine is always full.

I think same skills as an ordinary shot, 60% kep + 40% spe.
And heading if it becomes a high pass or a cross. But can it ? Would be great if it were possible to order players make crosses or shoot directly in different situations !
I remember there was an idea that our scouts would evaluate players and tell us what to expect from youths. Maybe it is possible to ask scouts about players’ potential ? Maybe once a week or somehow else ?
Yeah, I remember in MS we could buy a 10M worth player for 40M and then his price slowly dropped, or rised, if he was bought for less than he was worth
