That’s right, with the current level of passing, corner taker makes a 100% pass most of the times. Obviously a corner kick is not a regular pass so I will adapt it to make it more realistic.
Exactly. But we have to agree that it was really bad luck!
Indeed. We have it planned and it is possible with the current way of how the game works :)
I agree, assists would be an indication of a team’s game flow and so on!!!
1 more – it seems that the corner taker makes a 100% pass. It is unreal, defenders should be able to intercept it more often.
That was a 1 in 160000 chance, but, as far as I can understand, it is 1 in 400 EVERY time, so, it can happen that the goalie gets injured many times during 1 season
Okay, I read somewhere that you have now included the injury for a goalkeeper. That’s cool. I also read that the “randomness” was set at 1 in 400. Okay, that’s cool. So after a few ticks of this being introduced, my super goalie gets injured. Nothing major, only like a 2-3 tick injury so he was ready to go back in the next league game. So, I counted my blessings that hey, I won’t have another injury for quite some time. Well guess what, injured again, the very next game he was available for. So basically he got injured in 2 back to back games that he played:
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/385307
- Injured in the 9th minute
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_report/372448
- Injured in the 13th minute
I’ve always said that if it wasn’t for bad luck I wouldn’t have any luck at all, but this is funny.
Would it be possible in the future to show the amount of assists. Just like Managersim offcourse. That you can see them when you click on stats. It’s not necessary to show them from previous years offcourse. Just show the amount of assist made at that moment. Just like with managersim :)
.
This way you can see what midfielders get the most assist, or get the least. That way you can adapt tactically. Change some possitions around etc….etc…
.
I’m not sure if this could even be possible with the current way of how the game works…
.

I think the player should always chose the team with the most potential XP.
Hahahahahah! No, I haven’t changed the keeper strength :)
And 71 shots in a match again, 51 of mine, 20 were made by the opponent. Did you make the keepers stronger again, they should be like Spidermen now =) ? =)
They do, we’ll probably change the whole penalty kick logic in order to increase the goal probability, it’s too low!
Players for loan at Rennes, low to mid 80’s primary. Coaching level negotiable
1 more – I think keepers save too many penalties =)
1) Not necessarily, I’d say the passing priority enhancement have some influence on that, cause if you set it to center, you C attacker is likely to get the ball more often while if you set it to “along sides” your LC and RC attackers are more likely to get the ball.
2) Both. For example, let’s say that your attacker needs to be within 15 meters from the goal to shoot, according to your shooting strategy. Suppose that with the previous calculation he’d be 16.4 meters distant, but now with the new calculation he is 14.8, it means he will shoot thanks to the new formula. Or if he was 14.8 with the old calculation and now is 12, he would shoot on both cases, but now it will be easier as he’s closer to the goal.
I want to add something to this post. I don’t understand people saying “a good manager got fired because of bad performance”. I’m sorry, but then he must not be such a good manager. A good manager is someone who keeps on changing to STAY at the top. It’s impossible for good managers to be fired. In all honousty I doubt managers from teams like Hertha, napoli, Genoa, Getafe or even me with Brest will EVER get fired. Simply because we keep on changing and improving.
.
I also don’t agree with the “whining” about small teams having no chance. I think that’s bullshit. My team was from 2nd division and I manage to compete in CL and reach quarter and semi finals for the past 4 seasons now. Santo Andre also names himself as an example.
.
@Humberto: It’s all relative. You might get better youths in brazil, but the avarage level of skill is also higher, making it harder to become a true contender for the title. Btw, it’s also a skill to spot youth talents. They are on the free transfer you know? I think my team and Monaco are great example. Look at some of the “big” stars in my team and see where they came from :)
I am thinking of 9-0-1 tactic =))
Come on, do one-touch goals from 20 meters happen so often in real life ? 6 of 7 were scored like that !
62 shots on goal in 90 minutes in my last cup match…at least 4 times the ball hit the bar...1×1 =)
That’s the real fun of the `counter-attackers`. 1 or 2 passes and voi-la, GOAL! :D
This happens on real life and we still get pissed with that. :D
My last league win against Gremio in FT was quite a fun, 3-0 after 11th minute, 4-0 at the hakf-time, then Gremio scored 3 goals and I was lucky (or unlucky) to win 4-3 =)
The problem is still the same, I guess that at least 6 of 7 goals were scored from one-touch shots. It is common to make a long pass (sometimes 2/3 of the field) to an attacker and he shoots and scores.
Enhance distance to goal calculation on match simulation. Instead of measuring the distance to the center of the goal we now measure the distance to the closest point of the goal, considering its whole size. It should make LC/RC attackers shoot a little bit more.
2 questions:
1) Just a little bit more ? So if I have 3 atackers all with 0 mentality, 80% of shots will still be done by the center attacker ? =)
2) Does this enchancement only change the chance to make a shot or also the chance to score from a shot ?

Match strategies are not applied partially anymore. If you configure a position change and a substitution in the same strategy, the position change is not performed if the substitution can’t be made (when the player is not available).
Manager and team ranking points are now earned based on opponent quality. In other words, beating a strong oppoent is worth more points than beating weak one. As a result the best ranked teams/managers will probably lose some points even on victories until the new scores are normalized.
You were not lucky enough Gabriel. :)
