Nah, a signed contract is a signed contract, just let it be as it is..
It could be when signing a player no one else was bidding for, then it could also be others bidding as well, so you get the edge by giving a high wage and then you wish to fix your mistake?!
Who knows? We do not know the whole story, maybe the Admins have the tools to check the situation and help you?

But I thought players of 24/25 years are still supposed to develop (if they play matches). Am I wrong in that?

There was a bug preventing cpu teams from buying players, should be fixed now.

The answer is no, past seasons doesn’t affect the bonus / penalty in the current season. This change is only applied during your first season in a club.

Proportional performance bonus / penalty for final league position now in place. In other words, if you join a team after the league has started the performance bonus / penalty given to you when the league ends will be reduced to match the amount of time you were in charge of the team during the competition. For example, if you join a team exactly in the middle of the season and at the end your final position was bad enough to give you a 4% performance penalty, now you’ll lose only 2%.

When I saw that I couldn’t be first I put my young teams to lose the 2nd place, so that i could be in the European league.
I don’t have yet a could enough team for the CL, PSV has a better chance to do something then me (I don’t want to face Cardiff and be swashed like a bug :D)
I did say that I will try to compete for the first place in 2 seasons :) and it was 2 seasons after.
But to but honest I was 1-2, because i was out of the cup quick, and didn’t play the CL or EL.
i got a full load of new young very talented players (but i have to wait 4-5 seasons ^^ to see how good they will be)
And Netherlands has gained 3 places, passing Turkey, Germany and Italy. Netherlands is now the 7th country :) :) :) :) :)

And that was season 66, de Graafschap managed to become champion!! First half of the season was very good with some unexpected away victories. 2nd half was less also due to the European obligations.
AGOVV did a really good job competing me untill 3 matches before the season ending, but they will get there.
I am looking forward to compete in the CL next year along with PSV!
Still nothing with cpu transfers? I don’t want to be bankrupt. :(

Tomo como base meu time, quando jogo igual, geralmente perco, se jogo um pouco pior perco de no minimo 2×0, se jogo bem melhor fica dividido entre vitórias, empates e derrotas.

cool i understand, but its such an anomaly to have that happen to 2 of my players merely a few turns apart… :)
As in the real game, here we also need to deal with it. We have replacements for these occasions. There’s no way you have international players and not have them sometimes low, the game is. I know it’s sad to lose one of the best players as well, but we need to deal with it.
Computer says no.
My best defender was also injured in an international friendly just before my CL match. I was glad I won the first match with 4-0 so I didn’t really need him.
He was injured for 3 turns…luckily there were no important games in this period.
It’s annoying Charles but I guess we have to deal with it. It’s the first time one of my 3 internationals get hurt in an international friendly.

thats twice in less than a week I get one of my best players hurt in international friendlies… just prior to my CL games… getting pretty annoying… anyone else find that lately its been worse?
Maybe the loan system is making things worse too.. A medium would be nice, i just want a couple of million to keep my club going lol
