What would be good and useful would be if we could take freelisted players on trial for say 6-8 turns and during that time be able to get a coaching report on them to see if they are of any use to you.

Update : So yet again using Firefox the site is down after 9pm. However ive tried using Crome and it works. Still dont understand tho why its fine all day on firefox but not after 9pm!

Thanks Gabriel. The game is fine all day but once it gets to about 9pm it goes down. If it goes down again tonite i’ll try using IE and see if that helps.
Im using firefox and using windows 7 and the game is fine all day till about 9pm Uk time, then its down for the rest of the night till i go to bed at 2am at which point the site is still down. Its happened every night since the site changes were made.
How long is the game going to continually be down for? Everyday now the game is down for at least 6 hours or more every day making it hard to manage our clubs properly. I know there have been some changes with the game but there doesnt seem to be any information as to how long this unreliability is going to go on for.
Being able to scout for a specific nationality would be good too!
Sorry but i dont like the new formation changes. Its confusing and time consuming trying to set the formation in comparison to how it was previously.
What we need is a proper youth league, that way we wouldnt need to loan out players. Either that or some sort of youth tournament that managers cud join at the begining of the season.
I dropped the transfer and gave up lol. Maybe he’ll end up on the transfer list in the future.
The players morale is stated as Bad. Like i said, ive bought players who arent listed before and had no problem, however with this player nothing is happening.
No but ive bought players who arent on the transfer list before and the transfer has been concluded on the next tick. Two days have passed now and the transfer appears to be in limbo, neither accepted or declined.
So a couple of days ago i put a bid in for a player on Fast ticker, offered a wage over what the player asked for but the transfer is still dragging on and not completing. Ive never experienced this before and normally a transfer is completed once the game moves forward a tick unless u need to increase the wage in which case the transfer is completed after the next tick.
Is this a bug cos it seems like the transfer has become stuck.
Yeah thats alot fairer and least gives managers a chance to give the player the wage he wants. That or the negotiation department cud give u a range, for example the player wud like a wage between 15-25k. That way u cud offer say 20k as ur opening offer, the player mite accept it but if not then have a chance to make an improved offer which cud be a little bit more or u cud just offer the top figure of 25k.
The problem is that they are rejecting ur first offer and giving u no chance to make an improved offer. In real life both parties wud say what salary they want or are offering and then u negotiate towards an agreeable figure. Obviously if it goes on too long then the player wud cancel negotiations and that is fair. However as things stand in RubySoccer if u dont get ur first offer correct that its, game over, uve lost the player and thats not right.
You should still be given a chance to negotiate tho even if the player deems ur first offer to be too low. Thats why its called negotiations. The way it is now is that if u dont hit the right figure with ur first offer then ur stuffed and ur player leaves. No negotiation, no chance to make an improved offer and no chance to start a fresh contract renewal. Your locked out and have to say goodbye to the player u want to keep.
All thats going to happen now is managers having to offer silly wages just to ensure they keep the player which will means clubs will run into debt.
The players current wage is 9k. The negotiation department suggested 12k. I then made a first offer of 14k. If that offer isnt enough u shud told its not enough and given a chance to make a higher offer. As things stand we are not given that oppertunity. All we get is “Player has decided not to proceed with contract negotiations. He feels your offer was too far apart from his expectations”.
We are not mind readers, how are we suppost to know what his expectations are? Yes we know what the negotiation department tell us and we can offer over that figure which i did but not to be able to revise an offer and worse be then prevented from making a fresh contract renewal is stupid. Its simply not realistic the way things are now.
Sorry Gabriel but im coming to the end of my patience with this game now. I had to renew a contract with my player, i offered 2k more than what he wanted and he comes back and says, “decided not to proceed with contract negotiations. He feels your offer was too far apart from his expectations”.
Why?? I offered him 2k more than what HE was asking for!! Now i cannot even try again so im going to loose a good young player needlessly when yet again ive done everything correct and offered MORE than what the player asks for.
Id happily loan players out however no club ever wants to loan my players even when they have good stats!
I dont even know why uve changed the way contracts are renewed becos there was nothing wrong with the way it was. You started negotiations with an opening offer, they came back to you with what they wanted and u then had a choice of either continuing to negotiate or offer them what they wanted which was then accepted. Now u dont know what they want and if u dont hit on the right number they cancel negotiations and u have no option to try again. That is plain stupid and unrealistic. Yes the new investement area will perhaps help but shud of been implemented with the contract changes so that managers arent loosing players right left and center.
Both the contracts and moral changes should of been tested first to make sure they work properly and fairly rather than just thrown into a live game were they are now messing up peoples teams.
Well yet again ive started negotiations to renew a contract and offered 3k wage increase as my first offer. The player has cancelled negotiations straight away saying im too far away from what he wants even tho i havent a clue how much he wants. Now i cant even try again and so im now going to loose the player! Its really getting beyond a joke Gabriel!!
So what happens when u dont have any players left to field a full team cos the way its going i wont have any players left becos half my team is being force sold and more will follow!

Sorry but im seriously thinking about leaving the game becos having players cancel the contract offer before uve even had a chance to negotiate is rediculous! If i knew how much the player wanted i wud happily offer the amount but i dont becos im not given a chance!
