The problem is that your other 2 goalkeepers are on the loan list. So when they both loaned on the same turn and Ventura is sold you haven’t any GK anymore.
What if a selected player got injured in the period between the time you can’t change your players and the start of the tournement?
I think you can’t change your squad anymore when the european cup is starting. So you need to choose the players you want to start the tournement with before these 12 turns.

Yes Dimitri he played a full season with Chacarita, not with Erzgebirge. We are in season 43 and he is contracted at turn 129 (after competition) in season 43.

What with for example the manager of Holland. It’s not the strongest national team so they can’t win the world cup in normal circonstances. Although a good manager can get them in the semi finals for instance while there goal is groupphase. That manager should have a chance to stay.

I would say every manager should have a chance to stay for 2 seasons, but board expectations must be much harder then with clubs. Percentages for getting the match result be board expects must be bigger. Like -10% when you don’t get the result the board wants. When you don’t have 50% after the world cup you get fired, when you have you get an option for a second year with that national team.
In the first year you can control your club yourself, when you choose a second season with the national team your club will be managed by CPU.
After managing a national team a manager can apply immediately for another national team BUT if there are other managers applying for job with that national team they have priority. So everyone can manage a national team once.
I noticed the players are chosen by player value. I recently bought a good young player (Martinez) for 50M in fastticker. I found him in the national team of France. Normal since he has a player value 51M but is this his real player value or is it affected by the transfer.
Can for example a player with normally a player value of 15M who is sold for 40M be selected in the national team because of this transfer? His player value will be 40M after the transfer and will adapt slowly.
As Damago want the Club World Cup so badly, I figured out a new concept. I think it’s only a small change in the system.
This new concept is maybe not the big CWC plan you all had in mind when talking about CWC but it’s a start.
Here what I had in mind:
Play the CL/ Libertadores like it is now till after the groupphase.
- Then the first of each group goes to the CWC, meaning 4 teams of the CL and 4 of the Libertadores. These 8 teams can play a knock out system (5 matches) or 2 groups of 4 teams and the winners of both groups play the final. That’s up to you.
- The 2nd and 3th of the groupphase in the CL (or Libertadores) play the second round in CL (or Libertadores) like it is nowadays for the 1st and 2nd. So only the 4th of each group is out of international competition.
Copa SA and EL don’t change.
So we have a CWC with 8 teams in stead of 2 and the 1st in the CL group is more valuable.
I even think you won’t get fired when you reach 0% unless someone else applied for your team. But I’m not 100% sure of it. Can someone confirm this? Gabriel?
I would use the same team setup as Dhimitri. Make the others better with friendlies.
Great thread Dhimitri! I remember I lost the CL final against the reds of Henrique Dias in season 8 with Genoa. You made them come back as true champions. Congrats with your victory in CL. Too bad you couldn’t give them the CWC thropy.

Do I really have such an amazing team? (Fastticker – Bordeaux)
After my holiday and holiday mode I noticed the player values were changed and with it the board expectations. From reach europa league before my holiday to fight for title afterwards.
It looked strange to me but as I was more then 10 points behind for the title I didn’t asked what happened during my absence.
Now with the beginning of a new season my expactions are fight for title, reach final and reach final.
So is my team that good, what means are my manager skills that bad (at the moment) :p

I posted this result for the formation of Ascoli (1-5-4) I thought this wasn’t possible anymore. In my opinion there need to be some kind of rules for a formation. They have to be realistic. So at least 3 defenders, 3 midfielders and 1 attacker on the field.

Gouin (Bordeaux – Fastticker) worth $17,147,780? Ok he is good on his headskills for a AD (95 tack, 100 sho) But overall is isn’t that good. For instance Soares and Duchamp are much better overall and are worth 11,5M and 15,6M. Is this a bug?
