i see them beside “team info, matches, players and titles” on my main team page.
but even when i’m checking emails, instead of the layout being the emails ont he left and the actually body of the email on teh right, for some reason the body is now underneath… really odd, i’m on version 12 as well
is it just my Firefox thats acting weird but it seems i have black bullets in front of names, and my page layout seems all out of whack, anyone had this issue before?
ahhh, one of my old players :)
I’d like to confirm that I indeed sold this player to cadiz at the end of last season due to other player progression.
thanks,
charles
cool i understand, but its such an anomaly to have that happen to 2 of my players merely a few turns apart… :)
thats twice in less than a week I get one of my best players hurt in international friendlies… just prior to my CL games… getting pretty annoying… anyone else find that lately its been worse?
Can’t believe last post was by me almost a month ago…
Alavez has a few good young players and veterans for sale. 5 to 10mil$… pretty cheap for guys who will become 87 average players in the future or guys that can help your team out right away.
http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/team_players/381
give me a name and i’ll tell you who’s at fault! :P
ALAVES, spain 1st divison has a few players for sale.
approx 86-87 average. please place bid, prices are negotiable.
how long does it take for a team to accept a loan termination request? I had a guy on loan and forgot to remove him once the changes were made and I need him back.
I sent in my request to terminate the loan as soon as i noticed he got loant but haven’t heard anything back from the CPU team. My keeper is wasting away not even playing friendlies…
gratz gustavo!
You’ll need to build your depth before next season if you want to be competitive in both CL and French Div 1 :)
the last thing you want is to get relegated at this point :)
I have to admit the star system is something i definitely miss from SS/MS days…
couple of days into the new cpu behaviour…
looks to be a bit better…
what do you guys think?
don’t be sorry filipe.
i have to agree with you on this one. I just sold a keeper for 35mil (max value game will allow me to sell him) and although the influx of money is nice, its just not good.
good price for him would be 10-15mil, but 35mil is very high. A little more tweaking is needed in my opinion.
I understand we said “we want CPU to buy players” and now we’re saying “they are paying too much” so maybe we can find common ground in between.
If i may say, the market wasn’t bad prior to when all these changes came into play back in september (i think it was in septmeber when the changes were first made)
It just seems now that we’ve gone from not buying enough, to buying too much and paying too much.
I have to agree, it seems like the cpu in fast tick also have the “spending big” bug…
I agree filipe, those players are still there (check out the last player i got from valenciennes) but they are much fewer compared to before. But i got this player by luck and as i said, i searched the market for almost 2 hours…
Please correct me if i’m wrong, but are we still going to see 4.5+mil $$$ players or should we be content on grabbing guys with 2.5mil starting value?
To me, this game changed when the CPU team/transfer markets were changed.
Up until that point, scouting was fun and finding that player with good starting value was also fun.
Now i find myself checking almost every player on the market. It’s very time consuming but still very rewarding.
Having said that, I find that the transfer market is definitely broken. It’s gotten to a point where CPU teams are selling crap players, human managed teams are selling crap players and the only way to get a good player is from a team who already has too many. Other than that, what we mostly see on the market are older players (which are still useful) and young players which won’t amount to anything.
I’ve played the game both ways. I’ve developed players and sold them for fun, and I’ve also made runs for the CL and CWC championships. In both cases i had a lot of fun.
I find myself now playing the game kind of a hybrid version of the two playing styles and can’t say that either style is funner than the other. However, since the market change, i can definitely say the fun factor for both playing style has been greatly diminished.
I think until we see a massive influx of human managers, this type of transfer market will continue.
Dare I say… I think the CPU teams were made TOO smart. Think about it, do you guys seriously think that every new manager in the world would keep all those 4mil+ starting value players their youth academy would produce? Chances are they would miss a tick where they had to sign him or would log on too late prior to closing tick for a player pickup.
But the CPU teams were made so smart and error free kind of managing… i don’t find it as realistic….
Ya, kinda like a Season Form
i cant seem to see any replay…
TRANSLATION
Hello, I would give my contribution to the game to improve the way teams choose their trainers. Could be added next to the Status tab with a ranking of the coach, which would appear a kind of part of the current classification. In this new classification technicians would be distributed according to the time they are in the game (in season). For example, Novice, Amateur, Aspiring, professional, teacher and legend. And another with the average length of stay in the same club. These two new classifications would be used by teams to tie-breaker when it has more of a coach applying for the same position. For example, a Novato, who had been alone in a club, a gain of Amador who took over a club in the same period. Thus, we avoid the “escape” of technicians constantly a club to another, causing them to stay for a longer period in the same club. So his reputation would be eroded, making good coaches chose teams with ranking worse than his, but with a history of longevity in their former clubs. What would happen is now in football.
What do you think of this idea?
ya i assum ethey do it to just screw with everyone… not sure though but it seems to me cheaters don’t always win… just seems to me that the managers that play fair are the ones that win most of the time.
lets be realistic here filipe. we both kn ow this person will create another account right away and perhaps wait a few weeks/months before cheating again…
i don’t want to put anyone down or anything, but i still find it ridiculous that people cheat in a free web based game lol! its just so pathetic…
Veterans to be had for minimum prices.
96 passing veteran to be had for 1.5mil.
i thought it was maximum 1 month for vacation
it used to base its groupings on country a long time ago and people were complaining that it made for some really strong groups and some really weak groups.
so Gabriel reprogrammed it so it takes into consideration quality of teams to spread everything out equally. when he did that, it started putting teams from the same country together again.
i see it all the time actually… sometimes stats are equal across the board and then for some reason, the players speed hits 100 while everything else is in the low-mid 80s…
I have to admit I don’t really read the newspaper…
ALL STATS EXCEPT KEEPING HAVE GONE UP SINCE LAST POST, NOW AT 88 AVERAGE, wait now at 89 average!
Repost on fresh new page:
Thinking of selling my prized keeper. I’d like to field some offers and see if it might be worth it.

This player has been a late bloomer, still has potential to grow. Keeping at 97 already, might hit 100.
I understand there are similar goalies on the transfer lists priced at around the same price i have him listed at, but my keeper is still GROWING. If i don’t sell him now, i’ll just wait till he’s done growing and ask for more money ;)

have any players been removed from your team?
These types of players were supposed to have been eliminated many many many seasons ago.
The game devs actually said these types of players wouldn’t exists anymore as some teams were just stacked with them.
A few seasons later, the cousin of one of the devs cousins (or something like that) produced about 4-5 of this type of player. (Most from his academy, 1 from another french team)
Some have retired by now, never to be seen from again and some, like Alberto Phillippe, have a few more seasons left before retiring.
The way the game is setup now, players will usually get to 90-91-92 average. we shouldn’t be seeing too many players above those averages anymore.
can any game masters confirm this?
