Just put your fired youths on the hotlist and check in 3-4 seasons, I am sure some of them would reach 90s in their main skills.
Nowadays you don’t need a lot of money to build a good team. You can buy or loan key players if they are considered to be old (29+ years) or if they are loan listed. Also play as many friendlies as possible with your youths, don’t let thei stamina be higher than 3 =) I think this is a nice tactic to save on BIG transfers and this also can bring the money for selling youngsters…
i think u don’t wanne know how much i payed for some new players alex ;) 20mill+ in these days seems nothing anymore to alot of ppl.
making money can be done in many different ways. Myself i removed coaching 10 cause the difference in leveling up players isn’t that big and the costs u make is 100.000$ per ticks more. Ofc the big teams have abit more merch/sponsor, but that’s a reward for winning and standing high in the tables. If i don’t sell players i’m also not rich at all. People think we are, but we aren’t. Getting mails from ppl that wanne sell players for 60mill and contact the bigger clubs are soooooo wrong. Most of them don’t have alot of money. My currect balance is only 8mil!! And i only make like 400.000$ profit on a home game.

Yought players is all about the country ranking, since Italy isn’t the good latelly in the CL/uefa we dropped in ranking. Which means that we have less chance on getting the good players, that’s why brazil yought is so populair ;) Maybe u need to look at the free transfer list of brazil, everyone can get players from there. Though, you have to be lucky to spot that “star”.

Winning or losing a game is not that simple. It’s about the stats of your players, your lineup, tactics and all that. And it’s not the simple to explain. Getting better players and adjusting you tactics/lineup to your opponent might be a help.

First 3 shots against Gama hit the bar then magically into keeper’s hands. Then 1 more. So, 4 shots at the bar and all into GK’s hands. I think the chance the GK catches the deflected ball should be 1%, now it is 100%. Set the priority to high, I use long shots =)
Well if i may speak for myself i am not happy with my income either. I dont like losing money despite having no overpaid players and i play full crowd in home games. Maybe its because of my board expectation which has been “stay in division”. Thats another thing i dont understand why i am ranked that low despite finishing 4th last couple of seasons. It would be ok if you are awarded surpassing expectations but its not the case for sure.I make money in medium ticker with Boca with board expectation of “fight for title” and i am guessing its kind of related to this.
As for the youth players you have to be patient. Just wait for a good generation. I havent had anybody promising for long time but right now i have some great prospects. It seems like you receive good players in bursts. Maybe i am wrong, i dont know.
My opinion on this game after play a few seasons is that the “big” teams make way to much money, get all the good players while the teams that are between 7-15 hardly pay the bills with its income.
Plus in about 4 seasons, never got a young player that could have a chance to play for my team. They are all under 65 on the main skill or worst… Am I just unlucky?
The game engine should have an explanation of how it works and more clear way to find the game possibilities, so people dont get lost as they get in to play. Like me, I honestly have no clue of WHY i won a certain match and lost a different one…
Ps. Dont take that as a complaint, just some improvements that could be made to the game?

here is a situation. A player X was loaned for 144 turns with the clause “max official matches missed = 6”. Lets say he missed a total of 2 matches during those 144 turns. Later, when the loan agreement was renewed with the renewal option, i see that those 2 matches he missed during his last loan agreement still appearing for the current agreement. Since the loan renewal agreement is signed in the last 12 ticks window, it can still appear in that window period, as the new agreement starts only at the end of that 12th turn. But i feel that the matches missed in the last loan period still appearing for the renewed loan agreement.
I don’t know what the plans for the game are in the future, but opening a RubySoccer page in network sites like Facebook, could be a good idea to attract more managers (fill-up all the leagues), possible donors and so on :)

Just stumbled across the site after looking for footy sim games similar to managersim! Looking forward to see how the developers take the game forward.
I seem to be unable to view match replays within “MediumTicker” any ideas? I’ve used both IE v8 & the latest version of Firefox… this is uncanny but I seem to recall I had the same problem with managersim.
I’ve tried searching the forums and looking at the wiki but for the life of me can’t find anything.

It was either part of an unknown deal or Fortaleza’s manager believes in the player potential (and has a lot of money to spend). I’d go for the first option.
Is it possible to put and arrow or another symbol next to a message from another manager in your messagebox when you answered the message.
No when I do not immediately answer a message I sometimes don’t know if I already did or not.
Another symbol would solve this problem or an outbox or someting like that.
with the minimum matches clause for loan players, i have been thinking if it would be possible to display “loaned” information in the formation page. that would be easy rather than going back and forth to see if the player is loaned.

I stumbled upon a tansfer I found very weird indeed:
Rodney Couto transfers from CRB to Fortaleza in season 24 turn 72 for the bargain of 28,3 mill. It could of course be part of an unknown deal? I don’t know but it seems like a very high number.

would be exciting :)
If this feature is added i think the players should recover stamina points faster than current rate, and there should be some benefit to have nationals in your team like more merchandising income etc..
I don’t care about Brazil’s position in the ranking, I’m not even playing in Brazil anymore :)
