Just don’t loan him? Why does everything need rules……..

It’s the manager choise to put him on the loanlist with low stamina and it’s your own choise to loan him with loan stamina. I don’t see any reason why we need a rule on this.

But, sure, both of of you are right, just depend of the Administrators to decide if want to decide do something about it.
But, i agree that need to make a rule for it.

Yes, anyone can chek the stamina before loan, but sometimes have good players to loan that cannot loan because the stamina, and the rule of the official games to play….
So, if had a rule for the stamina and official games, better for the game….i think, and think that was an improvement for the game

group G and A are the touchest. Group E isn’t that tough. I think we (the dutch) can’t complain about our draw. Couldn’t have been much worse.

manuel… i will give u a scenario… sincerely speaking, no body puts a player with less stamina on loan market… the thing is that most of the players listed for loan are either young (age 19 – 24 ) or with higher wages. although they don’t play official games they play friendly matches, and over due course of time stamina gets reduced, if the manager don’t regulate the players substitutions properly.

Not all managers can manage this perfectly, and thus sometimes the players stamina goes beyond tolerable limit…

but Manuel, i have a question for you… you can always check a players stamina before hiring him for loan, why don’t you do that? i know other managers are not doing their job properly, but why don’t you :?? you can at least check before hiring

Sure. The problem is why the managers do that…They manage a team too…………….
Another suggestion. 3 official games, must be just in league games, because if the team must play the league, cup, international cups, impossible use the same team (players) in all the competitions.
Think about it Gabriel, because with managers that want their loaned players dont loose games with no stamina, what we can say…(poor guys) – (not managers for sure).
At least, not play 6 official games. Normal 9 games, or more, if the team play in all the competitions….

Portugal got the worst teams on pot 1 and 2 we could get… Yet I believe we can make it trough the group, hopefully both Brazil and Portugal will be qualified when they meet…

Are there any plans for defenders to play in line? I’ve been trying to use a high defense recently but there is always a stupid defender who stays behind making the oponent atakers not offside…

-players can pass the ball to teammates behind when there are no suitable teammates ahead
check the following replay from 10:24 to 11:34 ( this is just an example) http://www.rubysoccer.com/game/match_replay/599961

In this case I have 3 of my strikers passing the ball among themselves in front front of the goal and not shooting at the post… is this the problem because of my poor strategy or some sort of by product of recent changes??

i meant shots deflected by a defender which would confuse the goalkeeper…

We already had shots deflected by the goalkeeper, now the ball can hit or be intercepted by a defender on a shot. That’s the difference.

Group E is the toughest IMO. No weak teams here, even though the Europeans are favorites to make it past.

I’m looking forward to these teams:
Holland, Denmark, Serbia, and of course England to take it all :D

I’ve got a feeling this will be the best WC yet

or you could check their stamina before signing a loan deal…
having said that,
i agree with you that there should be a lower limit for stamina, below which should official games should not be counted… May be below the stamina level which affects players skills by more than 5%… i.e. below 85

How is possible that people put players to loan with so much lower stamina (have some that have 3!!!)and the minimum offical games that cannot play are only 3 games? It,s crazy.
I suggest that one loaned player that have less than 92 or 93 stamina, dont count for loosing official games.

“-players can pass the ball to teammates behind when there are no suitable teammates ahead”- thats why my midfielder was continuously passing to my defender… realized at once when i saw the replay… i was playing with short passes and moving all players ahead whenever i had the ball, which meant that the defender behind was the closest guy to the midfielder…

logical change… i updated my strategy ;) valadolid got lucky :)

EDIT : “… since now the shot can be intercepted”, does that mean there is a possibility for deflected shots too ?? ;)

Even though there is still a lot to do in the match engine I decide to release a package of changes:

- decision to shoot depends on how many players are between the attacker and the goal, since now the shot can be intercepted
- players are more aware when the path to the goal is free so they can decide to run instead of passing the ball
- defenders will try to stay close to attackers when opponent has the ball
- players can pass the ball to teammates behind when there are no suitable teammates ahead

These changes are already in place. Please give your feedback in the improvements discussion topic.

GROUP A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay and France

GROUP B: Argentina, Nigeria, Korea Republic and Greece.

GROUP C: England, U.S.A., Algeria and Slovenia.

GROUP D: Germany, Australia, Serbia and Ghana.

GROUP E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan and Cameroon.

GROUP F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia.

GROUP G: Brazil, Korea DPR, Cote d’Ivoire and Portugal.

GROUP H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras and Chile.

My predictions in italics with some of my personal wild cards in bold…

Group F & G should be mighty interesting (can’t wait to see Brazil vs Portugal). Imagine a Portugal vs. Spain game…ay ay ay the Iberian Peninsula will literally explode.
